- Everyday before going out we try out thousands of tops, a hundreds jeans, and at the end you don't know what to wear! Well don't worry, there's always a solution. Let's create together this wonderful and casual top, it's what every girl needs! You will need: Lycra or jersey, a t-shirt, chalk, scissors, sewing machine, measuring tape Once you get all the materials, make it watching the tutorial. Wear it with leggings or jeans and your ready to go out every where you want!

I *Like* that you coordinate with the top by incorporating cute shoes. Also, the locations in your videos are always so refreshingly adorable
Try using a double needle. It gets you the nice double line in the front and zig zag in back like a garment from store. Plus you can use it on stretch fabrics like Jesery or Lycra knot without worry.

@jamajezzie When I first learned to sew, I was a mess. My seams were crooked, I had hanging threads, hems were uneven, I had raw edges sticking out. But I couldn't see any of that because I was proud of my handywork.
I think Gianny has an awesome attitude when it comes to sewing. She's no Karl Lagerfeld or John Galliano, and has improved very little in the three years she's been doing this. But she produces entertaining videos, and on youtube that's more important than actual skill.

If we don't already have an assymetrical top to trace, would it work to just use a normal singlet to trace the top and but then estimate our own length and shape for the bottom? I really like this style top but I can't find one I like in stores where I live-- maybe making myself is the best idea! Thanks for the tutorial.
@GiannyL Hey Gianny, don't take it the wrong way. I only meant that beginners won't find it as easy as people that already know how to use a sewing machine. But there are lots of vids on how to use a sewing machine on here so they should learn to use their machine first before trying to make something. I LOVE your videos. Easy and straight to the point! I know how to sew so I don't need my hand held. I just need the great creative ideas that you give us. Thank you for all your vids =]

I would fold the fabric over then lay the blouse I was going to trace onto the fabric. it's even if you do it that way.
