I swear, you always "forget to turn your camera on", or "I forgot to screw in this piece", or "I ran out of gas...". You're always so forgetful it's funny. xD
TO FIX FRONT BRAKE now i work at a bicycle shop and with hydraulic disk brakes and easy way to adjust them is to take the wheel off so the disk is not in between the brake pads, then squeeze the brake lever in 1-2 maybe 3 times and the caliper will adjust so the gap between the pads will be less, therefore the brake lever will not have to be pulled in so far. If the distance between the pads gets too small to fit the disk you can CAREFULLY use a large flat head screwdriver or something like that to push the caliper pistons back in and start again. Hope this helps Moto
Hey! Finally finished the build series. The bike came out amazing. I think that you are leaving A LOT of speed on the table with the build. You should get a tach and continue to work on the CVT tuning. The tach will help to tell if you're in the engines sweet spot and making the most of the power band. Anyways, hope your wisdoms came out ok. Can't wait to see what's next with the Ruck!
Hey man, I saw it mentioned in a couple of random comment replies. But as far as the front brake issue, I had the same problem with a warped rotor on one of my bikes and then again when the wheel bearing on the rotor side of the front wheel started to go. Being that your wheels are brand new, I'd lean more towards a slightly warped rotor. Basically as the rotor spins, it pushes the pistons out ever so slightly causing you to have to pump the pistons back in before they'll fully grab. Bleed them again really well and while you're doing it, get the front wheel off the ground so you can spin it to check for any oscillation in the distance between the rotor and the pads.
Just a thought here but one or more of 2 things can happen with the break lever slacking like that. The caliper is not square to the disc and the pistons are getting pushed back, air in the lines or a bad seal allowing fluid to get past causing a loss of fluid pressure.
Motonosity, in regards to your front brake on the ruckus. It sounds like your disc may not be running true. So as the wheel is turning it may be pushing your pads outwards. giving you that extra travel in the lever! May be worth checking! good luck and keep up the great work!
I tried to come to Austin today from Houston and my radiator resivor blew and I didn't get to skate those beautiful hills least I get to watch you ride them on the ruckus
I saw someone put a mini gas can on one of those bikes for style and extra fuel. he made his look all rusty and old and stuff and attached it to somewhere in the rear I think. it actually looked good.
@blockhead did a pretty extensive video on the hero 5 mic adapter and he narrowed the clipping down to the connectors actually moving around as opposed to the actual level of the audio. might be the same issue
usually if your having to pump your brake is from the brake pads are being knocked back by the front disc, you may need to check for run out on the disc.
On the original Ruckus motor you could get 20 to 25 miles before completely out of gas after the light comes on. I was getting 114 MPG on a brand new Ruckus when not exceeding 25mph for the whole trip. I'm getting about 90MPG at max speed. Not sure how the GY6 performs gas wise but I'm sure you can get at least 20 miles from light on to empty.
But if the app resets or his phone breaks etc, there goes his number. Plus it's good to know for maintenance. And he'll get tired of it eventually. I doubt the type of person buying a custom bike wants to buy one that has no odo reading.
Devisioned Fate i mean here in sweden every 15 year old gets to drive a scooter or anything with 50cc so every scooter is nearly modified and its almost impossible to find one that tracks the mileage. 😂 but i agree its good to know it before someone buys it
Also, When are you doing a scooters only meet up? I only have a scooter at the moment. Would Love to ride with you on your Ruckus, I have a CF Moto Fashion 250T
Best way to do a burnout on the Ruckus is: put your feet down on the ground and hook the pegs behind your ankles. You don't need the front brakes at all when doing it this way. You can't be sitting on the seat though.
you have air in the line. remove brake from the wheel and remove pads. pump up the brake to expand brake cylinder. you might have to check fluid half way by removing cover and topping the fluid off. once the cylinder is all the way out! turn the cylinder so the air will travel up the line. remove the fluid cover and rubber insert. use a screwdriver to collapse the cylinder forcing air and fluid up the brake lines. repeat till the foamy bubbles disappear. very messy procedure.
A lot of people are having that "Clipping" sound issue with the hero 5 because of the connectors. If you wiggle the connection at the go pro, at the box, and at the microphone you will hear that "clipping noise"
Align the caliper on the rotor properly and/or there's still some air in the system. I don't think it's bad seals, or warped rotor, because it's all new materials you used. But who knows, never wrong just to check that too. ;)
hey bro the problem with your brake it's that you have air in the caliper , try to pump the brake while you turn the caliper up side down triying to make the bubble come up by the wire ✌ hope you fix your ruckus
you need to pump the lever before the brakes work? maybe brake fluid level low? check that out, or maybe your brake pads are gone (like no more brake stuff to come off), it could be worn to the point where the brake fluid level is too low to be pumped good...
I can't remember what app/website you used to find motorcycles. I know you mentioned it in a video recently (recently being this year) but I can't find which video.. please help!
hey serious question ... i noticed how you drive way pass the speed limit how do you not get caught lmfao ? im always aware and really want to go a bit over but feel like theres aways someone watching me (Police)
Dude you and brakes just don't get along hey! You seriously need to get yourself a Mityvac, I bought the MV8500 and it makes bleeding brakes and clutches a piece of cake, you can do it yourself with very little mess... Put anti-seize on your bleeder screw threads before bleeding for a better seal to pull more fluid, once you're happy with how they have been bleed, depress the brake lever as far as you can go to the bar and zip tie it. Leave it over night and they should feel WAY better, bleed them again a little more after that and you'll have flawless brake pressure and feel. The way you have the brakes now seem pretty dangerous and I probably wouldn't consider riding it like that! Ever since the CRF build I've wanted to tell you about those hand pumps but just never did. I seriously hope you get one because they are amazing...
Anti-seize seals the threads of the bleeder screw in contact with the caliper so that the vac pump doesn't suck air through the threads. The vac pump will pull more fluid that way, you can still get a good bleed without doing it but it helps. Getting a good seal over the bleeder with either the adapter or a hose is also important for the same reason, I put some regular grease on the end of the hose or bleeder adapter whichever I am using to help with this seal. If the vac pump is constantly losing pressure without having the bleeder open it makes the job a little harder and longer but not impossible.
Can somebody plz tell me how or provide information to take a fuel tank completely off a 2009+ r1 plz I don't have any room to get to the last bolt under the seat
you have to bleed your front brake, because if you can pump the pressure up, than there is air somewhere in your closed brake system. you really should do it, because I hate if I can't brake good.
You should do a video on the paper work it takes to get a off road title changed over to a street title. I think it would help a lot of people out. If you already did can you link it in reply to my comment.
squad... and i was first haha! bleed your front brake man. I think it has air in it and you're imagining the pump. If it's really a pump check if your brake mechanism isn't pushed out too far when the brakes disengage. Then you're in deeper shit
I swear, you always "forget to turn your camera on", or "I forgot to screw in this piece", or "I ran out of gas...". You're always so forgetful it's funny. xD
Tyler From Texas "i forgot my wallet" "i forgot my phone" LMFAO

You'll be good on the crf450 for Saturday and of course you'll want it for Sunday. Y'all book a room at that hotel! It's gonna be worth it!
Jake TheGardenSnake first
Looks like the trees are blooming in Texas...that beautiful spring feeling!

I love the look of the little Ruckus. Great work and effort man.Trouble is its all show and no go. Enjoy it anyway man.

Is your phone your speedometer? 😳👏🏼 That's so cool!
11:50 I like how the phone was tipping a little, but in stead of striating it, he tips is head! lol

What is the seat height on that ruckus? Keep up the good work Motonosity.
Please try get your speedo and the small leak on the crf fixed before the meetup
Hey man try spraying some D5 Deoxit on your connectors. I love that stuff and you can use it on all sorts of connectors to improve them.
IF YOU HAVE TO PUMP BRAKES CONSTANTLY CHECK YOUR PISTON SEALS!!!
brake caliper piston seals
if there was just air in thr line it would just be squishy or engange down low. but because it can be pumped up that shows seals
or a warped rotor that is pushing your pads out
You are right! In a car, same symptoms = master cylinder rebuild.
Its air. Its gotta be. I doubt a setup this new needs a master rebuild or has a warped rotor.
Hi I hope everything is ok we haven't seen a video for awhile now. Praying that everything is ok with you and your family
also I wish they would have announced the spring break meet up sooner. had zero time to get off of work.
bro what happen with daliy????!!!!
Bleed the front break pumping it up and getting firmer usually means their is air in the line or caliper
Ah yes another Ruckus vlog.keep em coming!
Are you ever gonna fix the idle ? It sounds so stressy on choke, it can never chill at low rpm :(
I really enjoy your videos! I lost my motorcycle plate, got a new one and then found it so I'll send it your way. I'm making a vlog about it now.
You got the best of two worlds. Scooter and motorcycle
doesnt that full gas sound get annoying? dont you want more speed as the roads there are just straights?
@blockhead did a pretty extensive video on the hero 5 mic adapter and he narrowed the clipping down to the connectors actually moving around as opposed to the actual level of the audio. might be the same issue
usually if your having to pump your brake is from the brake pads are being knocked back by the front disc, you may need to check for run out on the disc.
Daily uploads not happening and click bait, come on man, I used to enjoy coming home everyday to watch your videos

on the 50cc when the light comes on you have about 20 mile to go till you run out
Love the speedo, if it's accurate what app is it?
Wait... how is he going to track the miles on the Ruckus...?
Devisioned Fate his phone app records his miles.
It's a custom scooter, you don't track the miles, you ride the f out of it.
hes used 2 diff apps already lol
But if the app resets or his phone breaks etc, there goes his number. Plus it's good to know for maintenance. And he'll get tired of it eventually. I doubt the type of person buying a custom bike wants to buy one that has no odo reading.

^^^ Thats how I always do mine!
Turbo. Lets do this.
I always like the Motovlog/Austin weather channel!

Hey I was just wondering I'm a beginner and my friends think I should buy a kx250f do you think it would be a good bike for a beginner
Can you please show us the mic and GoPro set up that you are using with the hero 5?
i think your front forks are not entirely parallel and that's where the brake problem is. let me know if I'm right please
A lot of people are having that "Clipping" sound issue with the hero 5 because of the connectors. If you wiggle the connection at the go pro, at the box, and at the microphone you will hear that "clipping noise"
Why is the idle so high? If you're running it on choke you're gonna end up giving yourself a gummed up carb
FYI: light comes on when at .3 gallons
Worth going to the meetup? It's pretty far for me...
I live in Sweden..
What happened to daily??
Wasted Sniper i know right?
every time i watch a ruckus video i start thinking about building one
are you going to the Georgia meet held by Chase on two wheels?
Got the notification for this half way through 3D machines new video. It was a tough decision which to watch
do you think your gonna re-start daily uploading???? it would be awesome. and also, what trick are you learning on the bmx???
Finally the Ruckus is alive! i was waiting for this, i hope we can drag race with this with my Mio here in the philippines Lol it would be fun!
Need to bleed the front brakes. If you have to pump them there's probably air in the line.

NEW SUBSCRIBER, Love the Ruck. That's pretty dope bro
I live in Texas also. Do I need a motorcycle license to ride this same scooter on the street??? Thanks... :)
I think its can be air in your breaksystem. Nice video. 😎
I can't remember what app/website you used to find motorcycles. I know you mentioned it in a video recently (recently being this year) but I can't find which video.. please help!
Dashub!
Bleed the front brake again and get the rest of the air out. That's what's causing the play in the lever.
Anybody know of any Canadian meet ups?
Still waiting for that next upload... :(
that big jump on the pothole that almost threw you off the bike scared me, also the wind seemed to be pushing you quite a bit :)
Bro you're slaking with the uploads
Andres Delgadillo fr man. I use to look forward to his daily uploads but lately idk what's been going on. Still a fan tho that's not gonna change.
frvncixco same here man , but I just miss the daily uploads
told you it was the stator buddy.glad you got it running again.
what mph app do you use?
That engine struggle is real! sounds like you're maxing it out at 35 mph. Expected engine life est?
your brake rotor could be warped/not straight pushing the pads out.
does it have a bleed port on the master and the piston if the take a bicycle brake class for hydraulic brakes
I'm hoping to make the Austin one later this year. need to sell my mustang and get a bike first lol
You have air in your break lines. You need to bleed them.
What's the name of the app that you use for your speedometer
Are the valves making that weird rattling sound?
Hell yea dude. Ride gonna be LIT!
Yea that dip appears to come out of nowhere when you are coming from that direction. I used to live in that neighborhood.
My ruckus gas light usually comes on around after 90ish miles.. should have a good 20miles till u actually run out👍🏾typically..
hey serious question ... i noticed how you drive way pass the speed limit how do you not get caught lmfao ? im always aware and really want to go a bit over but feel like theres aways someone watching me (Police)

Does the Anti-seize just clear up gunk that's built up?
I'll have to try the ziptie thing

Like others said bleed the air out. Check out Chris fixes video on making your own bleeder kit super easy can even do a car by yoursel
Where did you buy your cvt cover ?
Can somebody plz tell me how or provide information to take a fuel tank completely off a 2009+ r1 plz I don't have any room to get to the last bolt under the seat

Do we need a license to ride a 49cc?
Hurry up on the cam install already!
You should do a video on the paper work it takes to get a off road title changed over to a street title. I think it would help a lot of people out. If you already did can you link it in reply to my comment.
Dude you'll have so much fun with a 50cc AM6 2stroke supermoto
Where is the bmx vids Bro?
I don't know if it's the camera but the handlebars don't seem straight!
You're craycray Brent. Bleed the brakes or you're going to have to Fred Flintstone it for the stop light.
What app you use for your speedometer?
DigiHUD Pro Speedometer
Find a friend with a Grom and race. Wonder who would win. Both go about the same MPH
squad... and i was first haha! bleed your front brake man. I think it has air in it and you're imagining the pump. If it's really a pump check if your brake mechanism isn't pushed out too far when the brakes disengage. Then you're in deeper shit
so early that he forgot annotations, or end cards, whatever lol
lol you might wanna check that front break lol
What speedometer app is that?
Moto Matt I'm wondering the same thing tbh
Y no 2 stroke?
What about walter,is he coming
bleed that front brake dude.
1:50
scoffs i'd have held it.
/laughing nervously/
notification squad where ya at
