I didn't know John was in one of Rob's solo projects... That's 2 absolutely killer guitar players Halford picked out of obscurity that would become ginormous names in the guitar world in the next decade... John 5 and Russ Parish/Satchel from Steel Panther... Hell you can say he plucked Richie Faulkner out of obscurity and that kid is going do some great things outside Priest
Couldn't agree more. On a whim, I wend to see this when they came through Seattle, and it was in a fairly small club. I was right on the stage, and was blown away by "that dude on guitar". He wasn't really known at the time; at least he hadn't blown up yet, and stole the show. The chemistry he had with Rob was awesome! They put on one hell of a show. Still one of my favorites.
Who could imagine after this performance that Halford would come up with an awesome solo album two years later and would revamp his career? Best singer ever.
This performance is stellar and I love the fact Halford is willing to discover new genres by far. Of course this is not his best effort but still interesting
I was lucky to find this whole set. Google "2wo live Wisconsin" and you should be able to find it. There's like 4 other songs or so and one that wasn't on Voyeurs. "Fight" I think it's called. Been a while since I've watched it.
Listen to the intro before the riff starts. Now go pull up the Ministry album Psalm 69 and listen to "Corrosion" on .75 speed. About 40 seconds into the song you'll hear it. It's even clearer on the pre Reznor studio demo version.
I really am a huge Halford fan and i love this album. I know allot of Priest fans hate it but i say fuck it this is heavier then most Priest, just in a different way. and John 5 its cool to see he is acting exactly like he did in Manson so mansion truly went to him and he made them better then left .
I wouldn't say that's it's heavier than most Priest... not by a long shot. But Voyeurs was a fine album. Not spectacular, but some really good tracks. "Bed of Rust" and "Stutter Kiss" are fantastic ! And goddamnit I love "I Am A Pig" too ! Really happy that i decided to flesh out my collection of albums from Rob's career nearly 2WO decades ago.
***** Well 2wo is a project of Halford and John 5 and to original demo's are way more guitar heavy. Trent Reznor fucked it all up in the mixing process. Watch John 5's interview with Eric Blair it sheds some light on this
Such a great song! With so 90's Industrial vibes ... I love it and just added it to my Shellshocked Radio Recommendation List: ruclips.net/video/M58YYdpScmA/видео.html
Rob experimented with a different sound. Which is always a good thing, regardless of how terrible it is. The video for this song is chock full of HOF pornstars! That and Trent Reznor (regretting) producing the album are all I care to remember about this effort. Priest, Fight, and Halford were all great. I'm not sorry, Two real sucked.
Because he grew up watching Hee Haw and Buck Owens and Roy Clark played them a lot. He said in an interview he didn't know there was any other kind of guitar when he was young.

John 5 was also the guitar player in The David lee Roth solo band from from 1998-2003
and he played for the Country group KD Lang.
I didn't know this either
2:45 Check out the dude in the white tank top who gestures exactly when John 5’s solo ends. 😎
This is pure 90s weirdness.
Last great decade for music.
John5 is just on fire here, son! 🔥🔥🔥
Before named John 5
Who could imagine after this performance that Halford would come up with an awesome solo album two years later and would revamp his career? Best singer ever.
Living Legend
This performance is stellar and I love the fact Halford is willing to discover new genres by far. Of course this is not his best effort but still interesting
you can tell by the sound this came from nothing records and that trent had everything to do with putting this band together
I wish he had continued this a bit longer. I really enjoyed this phase of Halford's career.
sadly the album was a commercial failure which is probably why thats all we got :( a huge shame, i hope rob releases those demos though
I wanted to see a 3 fight record
Best I have seen in a long time! JOHN 5 !!! The whole band!
Rob does his Uncle Fester impersonation well! great stuff, great song.. I miss the 90s.
Uncle Fester with a little Anton LaVey mixed in.
It’s sad that 2wo did not made sucess enough to continue a bit longer and leave Halford proud of this masterpiece. IT’S AMAZING

I am EXTREMELY bummed that the official music video got pulled off of RUclips this past year
John5 is on 🔥🔥🔥!!
This band were so before their time! I wish they would reunite! \m/
They were a product of the time mate. This is so late 90's it hurts.
john 5 is cool.
underrated album....great live sound
Listen to the intro before the riff starts. Now go pull up the Ministry album Psalm 69 and listen to "Corrosion" on .75 speed. About 40 seconds into the song you'll hear it. It's even clearer on the pre Reznor studio demo version.
Just saw that interesting
98 was a good year
this is a great version of more human than human, no wonder john ended up with rob.

John 5 casually jumping around the stage :D love it
Miss you man. Greetings from the coffee shop in San Diego back in the day
Crazy dynamics in this song. Sorry I missed this back when it came out - Rob with John 5, and Trent Reznor production = next level.
The beginning sounds just like Zombie.
I think it's Reznor...it was on his label.
I mean, John 5 is the guitarist in the video, and he plays guitar for Zombie now.
@@calvinnorthrup8058 Of couse he is, but Reznor produced that album and it also really sounds like NIN.
This sounds great
I wore out my first copy of this album and had to buy a second one
john 5 was great of the david lee roth album called DLR BAND
he recorded that around the same time as writing and touring with 2wo
Mark schroder hmm.. i think he did a good job emulating the evh sound that roth wanted and the NIN sound halford sadly wanted ,,
***** Well 2wo is a project of Halford and John 5 and to original demo's are way more guitar heavy. Trent Reznor fucked it all up in the mixing process. Watch John 5's interview with Eric Blair it sheds some light on this
The music video is soo awesome. Wish it was still on yutube.
+William Stage It is, Someone re-uploaded it.
John 5 kicking ass as always
They Rocked This Song ! ! ! The Guitarist Is WHOO WEE ! ! !
Idle hands are the devils play ground
Just rewatched Idle Hands (saw it when I was like 4 years old) and heard this song in it and have been listening to it now. Awesome song.
Wow...it's really strange to see Rob like this...with make-up and stuff...still my hero.:)
Just realized the opening is the demo version.
We will never get John 5 looking like that again.
Right on old man....fuckin Killin it bro
great album 🤘
This is cool!
Underrated album.
The metal God with John 5 fuckin' awesome
John 5 looks and acts just like Zoot Horn Rollo here...Fantastic!
I saw this tour live in Seattle at the Rock Candy. Was fucking BRILLIANT!.
This is a fucking masterpiece! 🔥
This is gold
They Are Kickin Azz ! ! ! The Band Is Tight As Hell ! ! !
Hermoso jhon 5 y rob
The bass player (Ray) would continue with Rob to form HALFORD later that year ('98) for it's debut in 2000.
I am a pig?! awesome
good band
2:14 2.1k, Timmy
I'm here after reading the book
Who's playing keyboards? Anyone, anyone? Thanks.
Gee, I wonder if KK's Priest will write a song called "I am still a pig"?
Damn john 5 is laying out all out
Such a great song! With so 90's Industrial vibes ... I love it and just added it to my Shellshocked Radio Recommendation List: ruclips.net/video/M58YYdpScmA/видео.html

Eat me beat me I am a pig
Les Claypool, is this your music??
john 5 !!!
Year?
is that tent on keyboard ?? I can't make it out...
no, but he wrote the songs
It's James Woolley, formely from NIN.
@@ollieroks Trent couldn't have written such horrocity.
@@llnn5112 he put out with Teeth. The Album was Crap and everything else since then.
very funny rob :)
john 5 (guitarist) joined Marilyn Manson months after this lol
I love John and Halford but... what the actual fuck is this? awful btw tf is john wearing omfg hahahahah
fukn awsome.....RARE
😂
good music...but at the same time this is shit compared with Judas Priest and Fight!
OMG he cant be John :DD
I dont think he is but his costumes will make ya crazy....but who knows?
Peppa Pig Peppa Pig
3 people are extremely narrow minded.
hardly, rob halford himself abandoned the project after realising it wasn't going to work out.
anyone else getting white zombie vibes?
now i'm afraid halfordmore than Merliyn manson
JageRunner 2017 the songs where written by NIN.
By the way, is John 5 gay?
Not that it makes any difference either way, I just wondered.
He Is not gay, he's married
I'll never understand why john 5 likes fender so much
Cause you can do every genre on a fender.
Pat Arnold fender and Gibson suck ass
Because he grew up watching Hee Haw and Buck Owens and Roy Clark played them a lot. He said in an interview he didn't know there was any other kind of guitar when he was young.
@@TheJpybus282 fantastic guitar player but shitty guitar brand
Wow! Rob sounds awful here.
Horrendous
We will never get John 5 looking like that again.
