Your tiramisu is ok... I am married to an Italian so my son can make an amazing tiramisu authentic ... mascarpone cheese and lots of eggs... separated eggs and you have the perfect machine to get it stiff the egg white and the do the yolk separate..., it's easy and fantastic! My son amar is your age and he is really good at it....I have passed on your videos to him and I think he will learn how to make some fav Guyanese foods! Thanks again you are doing a great job!
Indera Misir Mamone
Glad you enjoyed! Everyone makes it differently. I dont like tiramisu with eggs. That's why I make it like that.
This is the best sada roti recipe that I have come across👍👍

Nice
Childhood memories. Breakfast.
Fresh lemongras tea boiled with fresh milk and sugar. Pieces of sada roti in it and eat. Same with daal ... yummy
Sometimes my mom put some butter and brown sugar in it while it was hot.
Sharmi Yum. Thank you for sharing your memories!
Matthew's Guyanese Cooking Welcome!😊🙏
In those days she cooked on chulha. That was some cooking.
I love to watch Indians Cook in their villages ... Have u ever tried? It's an Art. Thanks for sharing your recipe 👍🤗
Sharmi I've never gotten to cook on one. My grandmother talks about cooking on them back in Guyana though. The closest I've come to cooking on one of those was an outdoor gas stove.
Very informative 🎉🎉🎉
Glad it was helpful!
You have no idea how helpful you are. ❤
I'm so glad I could help.
Good job matthew and I like to eat my sada roti with tomatoes choka, Balounger choka or pumpkin.
Farida Baljit Thank you! I have the pumpkin up already. The baigan choka will be up in a few weeks.
Matthew's Guyanese Cooking awesome.
Thank you. Do you recommend any particular brand of flour? We love to have it with dhal, pumpkin and any choka.
Yum those are perfect with sada roti. I dont recommend any brand, I have used so many different ones and I don't notice anything with taste of texture.
Hi Matthew, you better than me in cooking your roti. We always learning something new. Thank you.
Thank you lol
@@matthewsguyanesecooking4601 Hi Matthew, Thank you so much for replying back. Do appreciate it. Also I must say, you are really a chip of the longtime people. You remind me of a lot of memories. Also I like how you use the local names for for the utensils, when cooking, etc. At your age, carry out the tradition, and keep cooking.
Proud of you.
@@bassobridgebassie9165 thank you for the kind words. It means a lot and puts a smile on my face. Hope you enjoy all my new content.

VERY NICE
Thank you
Oh yeah I forgot to ask you to make cassava pone... easy with frozen cassava and frozen coconut... of course defrost overnight... I think you will make it fabulous ... with your easy steps! Thanks
Definitely I will make that soon!
Great video, will make tomorrow!!
bcutting1 Thanks! Let me know how it comes out.
Matthew's Guyanese Cooking It came out great, I always kneaded the dough. I tried it your way and it was nice and soft!
bcutting1 Awesome! Glad to hear it came out great!
Another sucessful and delicious recipe!! Did not attain 100% sucess AKA "fully vex roti" but that was my fault due to inexperience. One side of some of the rotis were rolled thinner so that side didn't swell. I did get partial swelling and the rotis were still soft after it cooled a bit compared to the frisbees of my other attempts 😂😂. I'll take the small wins where I can get them with Mr. Sada. Just need some more practice and I'll be good to go. Thanks for another awesome recipe.
So happy to hear they came out well. Practice definitely makes perfect, thank you for using my recipe and supporting my channel.
Your roti swell very could u put yeast on the sada roti
I gonna try it this way 😄😊stew chicken on the side😎
It will be delicious. Enjoy
Wow nice idea because I also have an electric stove 👍👍👍👍👍
Thank you
when you put rotis in microwave to puff up they will become stiff fast
I promise these dont get stiff.
Put it in for about 50 seconds to a minute.... or as soon as it puffs up take it out the microwave.
Thank you for sharing, i see now i did everything wrong my son just laughed at me. I usually mix my flour in the stand mixer but have a habit of folding the dough into itself once everything is combined. If i combine everything in the mixer and use your knuckle method to press out the dough, do u think it may be possible to seke properly?
It should you can try it out. Mixing by hand is easier in my opinion and you always get the best results.
@@matthewsguyanesecooking4601 i agree 100%. I only started using the mixer because i have 4 kids, of them under the age of 5yrs, and everytime one hand is tied thats when they need eveything to survive. The mixer is my extra hands. But hands down mixing the dough by hand is by far the best way. Thanks for sharing.
Nice sada roti
Thanks!
Sorry fried bigan with patatoes.
Is great too.
Yummy 😀
Yum! Oh yes
hi..made these and they puff up great..notice my roti was a bit brownish while cooking...any idea what cause it to change colour..only diff. is i leave my for like an hour before cooking..
Thanks for trying it out! Im glad you enjoyed it. Maybe you left it on the tawa too long/oroit was too hot?
Matthew's Guyanese Cooking no neither. as it went on the tawa it turned brown...
@@kram6449 Hmmm I don't know then. It could have been a lot of things. Like the flour reacting with the baking powder or something else.
Matthew's Guyanese Cooking will try again next time...will let you know how it turns out.
@@kram6449 Please do!
Will i gt same results on gas flame
Yes you can do that as well.
Hi Mathew,
Can you please tell me approximately how much water you added?
Thank you!
Roughly 1.5 cups maybe a bit less
@@matthewsguyanesecooking4601 Thank you so much! Appreciate it. Keep doing the good job your doing! I love all of your recipes, so great, tasty and easy!😊
Hi Matthew,my husband is a Brazilian and he loves roti so does my three daughters every time I make roti for some reason it always comes out a little stiff but will definitely try your method. You always the number one chef on you tube.👌
Thank you so much! I hope you enjoy the recipe itll be great!
What causes the roti to crack up or take long to get bubbles at first? 😔
The heat has to be regulated. Also make sure the dough is at the right consistency
Could you put yeast in your sada roti
You can put a pinch. Some say that it comes out softer, give it a try by adding about 1/4 tsp
What is the actual recipe how much flour to how much baking powder. And how many sada roti does it make
The recipe is in the description box below the video. Makes 6 sada rotis (but depends on the size)
Hi mathew,great job
Can u do a video for chicken puffs
Trevon Kalpan I have never had a chicken puff. Is it a trini dish?
I am not sure lol
Its baked pastry thats stuffed with a chicken filling
I only had it once and i loved how it tasted
Trevon Kalpan I think I know what you're talking about. I'll work on a recipe.
Tnk u💕
I'll be looking forward to it
Pumpkin
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️💪💪💯💯🇬🇾🇬🇾😎😎🙏🙏🙏
do a video for quinches.
Green Plasticbag What are quinches? Do you mean quiche because I will be putting that up.
not quiche. quinches. ask your parents. its an old time guyanese food. its kind of like a casava roti with sweet coconut inside. let me know if you find out what it is.
Green Plasticbag Will do!
Matthew's Guyanese Cooking kiskadee-whatdidhesay.blogspot.com/2014/08/quinches-bite-of-guyanese-history.html?m=1
Green Plasticbag I will look into it for you.
Can you give me a water amount estimate please 👏👏👏
For 3 cups flour I believe it is a little less than 1.5 cups
Sometimes when I want something sweet to eat, I would fill the pockets of the sada roti with condensed milk.
Yum lol that sounds so good!
Hey Matt I have to write down those local names and learn to spell them properly.Laugh!
You copied everything from Ria, including her word for word description.
Be original young man.

Who are you to say such stuff! He doesn’t need to copy anyone. His grandma and aunts are his teachers. Who doesn’t know to make roti, when you are eating this twice daily.
No he didn’t, I saw her video , absolutely not😳👎👎
Nope he did not.
Thanks
