Everybody who watches this and wants the UI of the AF box to change from a big box over the face to a small box over the eye like it is in the animal eye detect, like this comment. This is definitely a change I would like to see. Also a eye detect only mode for humans would be nice
I Agree! I know the crosshair is a LUMIX thing, but it's actually very difficult to see, especially on a external monitor as the lines are very thin. It would be nice to have the focus box with a bit thicker lines as well.
Hi, my top request: hybrid zoom added to the S5ii(x) 😊I mostly record in 4K, and use the crop mode very frequently to turn my 28-70mm lens turn into a 40-105mm. The crop mode is an awesome feature! I don't have the S9 myself, but from what I have seen the hybrid zoom makes this even more convenient!
Plus add the S9's additional detection modes to G9II & S5II/X ... airplane front would be handy. Pre-buffer for video would be great even if on a future model. Slower SLO - Mo and Let's beat sigma and get something closer to 800mm telephoto! Let's go Lumix ! Thanks again for these informative streams! Shows Lumix cares :)
The Timelapse feature of the S5 brought me to LUMIX. Best in class! My suggestion for further improvement: for automatic day to night / night to day Timelapse’s in A mode it would be beneficial to add a minimum and maximum shutter speed. After that the Intervall should follow this shutter speeds (e.g. shutter plus 4 sec) I know it’s a niche request, but one can dream.

I'm very interested in the flash episode! I also use Godox. I find my hit rate surprisingly low when using flash, even when using the modelling light of the Strobe (godox ad600) in dark situations. I'm also often shooting f4-f8 with flash. Hit rate is like 95% otherwise (S5iix) but with flash it's always roughly 60% using the same settings. Often default to manual focus and back button autofocus because I find it more reliable. Thanks! Also PLEASE PLEASE bring us a new GX body. My wallet is waiting :) Thanks for these, Sean! Always learn something
Feature Request - Like the new Lumix Lab app - it seems a bit more reliable and snappier. I just returned from a long trip with my G9M2 where I relied on GPS tagging to remember where I was when I took an image. I see that there is a power save mode for WiFi, but not for Bluetooth connections - it would be really helpful to add a bluetooth low power mode to keep the connection open to the phone without going forcing the camera to stay fully awake.
Hi, nice livestreams. well done, I have a few requests: -Add bluetooth connection to dji gimbals (only Panasonic has a partnership with dji and its the only camera that cant connect wirelessly). -hybrid zoom please, livecroping is cool but that would be more usefull -add wired connection for remote control to the app, the old one was disconecting all the time. - fullscreen mode in the app and assists (zoom, false colors, etc) would be great. The actual image from the camera is quite small. Thanks:)
@lumixusa I have a panasonic lumix s5iix. On pages 166, 167 of the user manual, registering the af Micro adjustment and registering the adjusted value by lens or to adjust uniformly for all. Do I need to set that and why would I need to adjust the focus value?
I like to have a function button mapped to aspect ratio, but it is then an unused button in video modes. It would be awesome if you could make a different function button set specifically for creative video mode.
I would like to be able to read out the temperature of a picked custom white balance. That way i could measure it, and could make shure all cams have the exact same.
S5IIx: In video recording is there any difference between AF-S and AF-C mode? Because when I start recording it forces camera in AF-C mode even when the hardware switch positioned on AF-S. I remember from official manual that “this is how it works”. But there was a question about Focus Peaking and Sean’s answer assumed that in fact there is a difference. That was confusing from the very beginning and now I’m even more confused.
Two requests to the software team. We can't turn the sharpness on the S9 down far enough. It's always oversharpened, no matter the settings. It appears that the sharpness parameters are simply ported over from the s1h, but yet without the aa filter it's too sharp. Please tune the sharpness parameter for this sensor. There's no way this isn't a 10 minute fix. Also, please implement USB UVC (webcam) on all your modern cameras. Once you go UVC (thanks sony), there's no turning back.... It's an open source protocol. Heck, even the action cams have it.
Actually, the sharpness problem is brutal enough to make me return this camera. I will if I don't get an immediate confirmation that it's being fixed. I honestly wonder if any of the developers are using the cameras as they're working on the firmware. How did it make it out the door this bad?
@@EricLouisYoung Pretty sure you know still photographers typically value sharper images. Considered maybe the S9 rendering is tuned a bit more toward that crowd? Maybe you should return it but the entitlement is overkill. lol
@@daniellrodriguezs v-log is barely ok, but it could use less sharpening too, all the standard profiles are primarily what I'm talking about. sometimes it's just nice to use a standard profile for a quick vid, but it sucks when you have the sharpness all the way down -5, and it still looks like samsung 2016 smartphone oversharpened.

Keep in mind it's not everyone though! The crosshair style is one of the many reasons I went with Lumix. Better info as far as I'm concerned, haha.
Please add this

Also, would you all be able to add "1.6x anamorphic desqueeze display" to the S5II, IIX,?

Exactly, the Wi-Fi connection often drops, so adding a wired connection would provide more stability.

I also would like the AF UI to unilaterally look like the "Animal AF" with a small box on the eye.
I am trying to import LUTs from my ipad and iphone into Lumix Lab and all the LUTs are grey and cannot be selected. What am I doing wrong?
