Sitting here in my very comphy computer chair in Mobile, Alabama. Its like a mini virtual vacay. I Love it ~! I walked round London and surrounding areas in 1990 when the world back then seemed so innocent. Please, keep them coming.

Amazing. From what I can see it has changed a bit since 1980 when I was there last.
As a Liverpudlian I do have to say that you walked through about five hundred years of history and you never uttered a word. May be if you do it again the purchase of a guide book would not come a miss.

Looking at this makes me homesick, which sounds odd because I'm from Chester just down the road, but I've always loved being in Liverpool.
First time I visited was in 1974 with my Grandma, we were en route to the Isle Of Man, and left from here on a ship called Ben My Cree.
I remember liking the accent because it sounded like the Beatles (a nine year olds view), and years later I came back for a record fair at the Royal Crest I think it was (over the road from the Adelphi, by the station).
Always a happy time.

Never really seen Liverpool before apart from vising to support my team at Goodison Park 2 or 3 times many years ago.Looks really nice and vibrant so will be back to check it out properly soon.

Thats what I have always said about a time machine.!!LOL... I think I'd give anything for a few weeks back in the night life of town in 1974...lol and that fab summer in 1976...I love my home town and although the UK has loads of great cities I'm proud to be a born n bred scouser..

I am a welshman but this city is amazing and has the greatest football team in the entire world the red side may I add my granddad was a Scouser from Wirral long gone now sad to say but a massive red fan and that's where I get it from would love to live up there at some point in life

camera moving up and about for no reason. Sometimes all we see are head shots - other times the camera swings left to right too fast for no reason.
keep the camera in one body location - preferably chest high and always pointing forward - turning only when you are actually making a turn.
what a great place to see -- if only I could see it ....

Nice video. I plan to move in to Liverpool this autum but not directly to city centre. How about Kirkdale train station and surrounding streets. I've noticed renting price are much cheaper then it used to be. How about safety in this area. It's called Bootle

i wouldn't say bootle is the best area out of liverpool, i don't live around there but i've heard it's not really ideal. if i was in your shoes, i'd consider somewhere else

Richy thanks for these videos, I was watching your videos for weeks before I went to Liverpool so when I got there, I already knew exactly where to go and what to expect, so t felt like I had already been there even though it was my first time! But it seems like there are way more people in this video than when I was there last month. Was this a weekend in the summer? I was there on a tuesday and wednesday last month and there was a lot less people, which was refreshing coming from crowded London :)
No problem man...It was a weekend,so pretty busy...I am seeing family over Christmas,so I may try to get the city centre while the lights are bright & colorful :)

Some beautiful weather that month '16. Warm - mediterranean almost. I was there late May and so much cleaner.
Love the videos of Liverpool.Camera shake is inevitable when your walking but you might be able to correct some of this by using RUclips's ENHANCEMENT'S which you'll find between edit and audio underneath your video go into enhancements and click on STABILIZE then click on SAVE then another box will come up with 'THIS MIGHT TAKE A WHILE' again click on SAVE then go back in about an hour have a look at the results and if you don't like them just go back into enhancements and click on 'REVERT TO ORIGINAL' - it's worth a try.Keep up the good work.

Camera moving around quick. Poor camera work.
Due to the second world war we have a lot of 20th century replacement buildings looking dirty and tired. At least when the Victorian buildings were dirty they were still ornate and stunning. The late 20th buildings just look dirty.
Still livid about The Futurist. Should have demolished St Johns instead
It wasn't the Luftwaffe that made the buildings look dirty and tired, it was a succession of shit politicians who could have done something about it but chose to come up with policies like the Poll Tax, The Iraq War and the fucking best of all: Universal Credit.

Nice city, would have been better to see the street rather than bouncing up to the sky, other than that great vid.
The guy with the camera would have filmed the street, but a disgruntled police officer who had just caught his wife in a clinch with a hippie kept kicking him up the arse.
The police officer is now sitting in a cell too scared to take a shower, while the cameraman is busy working on the latest blockbuster The Gleaming On The Floor Of Burger King, with Eva Green hotly in contention to play Lois The Mop.
As for the street, its still there despite the voices in Vladimir Putin's head.

Listening to the Scousers (esp.the older ones) in the pubs is part of the enjoyment of visiting Liverpool, some funny & colourful characters in the drinking holes of ' the pool'
