I bought a 6.5 Creedmoor upper for Christmas, but have not shot it yet. The gas tube port of the charging handle snapped while function-checking the rifle, and has made the rifle inoperable. I sent a part replacement request a while ago and am hoping that BCA will send me a new charging handle soon.
Would be cool if they made a custom lower and upper option for 30-06. That would be cool. I’m sure there’s a mag out there somewhere that can be used. You already have 80% of the work figured out. Longer mag well for a new style mag. Just lengthin a 308 lower. And a barrel. Pow the AR-Bar. Only at Bear Creek Arsenal Now that would be cool.
No’ diamond back uses proprietary uppers and lowers. You can get an upper receiver from diamond back for $129.00 You also probably need their hand guard too’ you can get a 6.5cm barrel for like $130 too’ I have one and they work great.

Why did you stop making 24 inch I bought one pre pandemic from you and can't load a round by it self now at 70 a box it really sucks to load by hand on a sidecharger ....I've called and was told to send it in but if you couldn't fix it you would give me in house credit.......with all the mail theft going on why would I send it in if you can't replace it
Buyer beware. I ordered 4, 6.5 creedmoor uppers, all 4 are NOT SAFE, bad headspace, dangerous over pressure with several factory loads. Bearcreek ar15 stuff seams ok. But stay away from the lr308 sized stuff.

6.5 is NOT long distance. It pails in comparison to even the 308; In fact long distance is 1,000 yards and neither compete with even the tried and true 30-06.

Did you guys at bear. Creek ever fix your feed and accuracy problems at the factory ? 2 inch groups with a 20 inch barrel is not good.

Just picked up the bca 18" 6.5cm today, hoping it does well on the precision rifle circuit.

They are working on large frame ar10s now in 30-06 and other magnum calibers

What’s the weight of a 20” barrel?
The 20" upper is about 9 pounds, not sure the barrel alone though.

You shouldn't use the same target on the 6.5 vs 308 comparison videos!
