Country 2-Step, Lesson 3, Amalgam of three moves, October 23, 2023

Its Double Amy time again, led by Amy Mills with important input by Amy Reeves. Country 2-Step can be done to different types of music by identifying the appropriate beat. We learned a new combination move consisting of the Outside Turn, Inside Turn and Lariat. Connected, these moves create a showy and elegant Amalgam. Totally cool! We learned floor strategy that had to do with managing the speed of progression in line of dance, and the personal space of the dancing couples related to other dancers on the floor. It was a wonderful class giving an expanded view of the dancing dynamic. Thanks Amy and Amy.
