Country 2-Step, Lesson 4, Pivot Turn Variations, October 30, 2023

Twas the last class with the two Amys, Amy Mills teacher, and Amy Reese teacher's assistant. A great combo! We were reminded about the important relationship of the follower and lead. Posture combined with frame are important elements. It seems that technique and styling set us free to be more flexible and responsive. A good lead/follow relationship will also facilitate innovation and styling. We gained an expanded view of the pivot by adding turns, promenade, heel toe rocking. The Amys leave us with a nice base for developing our Country 2-Step. Thanks Amys for precise instruction and great fun!
