This documentary is staggering in its beauty. How is the Eames story not a film or limited series? Incredible history about design, mid-century vision, couple dynamics and baically love.

the ending made me especially emotional. Literally, they lived in such exciting times and were full of energy and optimism. Nowadays everything is boring, a repetition of a repetition, culture and science seem exhausted.

That's why I got so excited when I saw the work of STUDIOMAMA documented by the RUclips channel Never Too Small, especially the one NTS posted on Aug 17, 2023 as part of their Wonderful Waste series. It really made me wonder if they were Ray and Charles reincarnated. "Studiomama is a multidisciplinary design studio founded in 2000 by the Danish Nina Tolstrup and Greek Cypriot Jack Mama," and based in East London. Nina and Ray certainly have the same smile, in my humble opinion! Their work is really fun and highly original and watching them work together--and separately--is a joy! They appear to be having a ton of fun!

They were so lucky to be allowed to do what they wanted.
Couldnβt get past the leaving of the first wife and their daughter.
When I observe Eames chair with Ottoman in a hotel/airport lounge where you could enjoy your whiskey with cigar (yes it was possible in earlier days), it always gave me the feeling of enjoying life, the pleasure, happiness and luxury feeling altogether... Today they are not only stylish-comfortable furniture but also a kind of investment gaining on price...
