Spending so much time and money on this extravagant architecture is rather selfish, when we think how much more this money needed to be spend on providing basic facilities to people. It's like parents spending their money on themselves and neglecting to feed their children. It was and it is still one big lie about the state of our affairs. Poverty doesn't stand out like these buildings do.
why would you say it? It's a sculptural choice, a wavy box is not necessarily more expensive than the simplest cube, it just communicates a different thing.
