This is a wonderful gift - to the fans, the students and the consumers of Eames products, or to anyone really that just appreciates design, history, art and innovative and/or unique ideas. I had the pleasure of visiting Vitra Design Museum in 2017 and it was genuinely one of the most special places I have ever visited. I had not previously known there was an institution that celebrated items like this, consumer goods, in a museum. Please continue to consider producing more long-form content like this. It is greatly appreciated, greatly informative, a special contribution to the legacy of these great designers and great designs, and notably a special gift to newer generations learning about the history of the many iconic design works housed within Vitra.
Hi @jsngrsby, many thanks for your kind words. We're glad to hear that not only did you appreciate those insights, but also had the chance to visit us on the Vitra Campus already. To make sure you don't miss a digital streaming event like the Vitra Session or even a new product, we recommend you subscribe to our newsletter (www.vitra.com/newsletter). Best regards, Vitra.
This is one of the best documentaries I’ve seen on the Eames’ design sense and furniture projects. I really enjoyed this. It’s so wonderful that the legacy of Ray and Charles Eames has been safeguarded for future generations. (And I’m very happy to see alternatives to leather being used now in some of these pieces!) Thank you to all on the Vitra team!
Last year I visited the Vitra Campus and this year I'm going back in 15 days. I like it very much !!! . In June I will be in Los Angeles, but the price of the visit to the Eames House makes the visit prohibitive.
Thank you for your query, very thoughtful observation. The Shell Chair you refer to as 'light blue' is the standard Seafoam Green colour. And the ESU you discovered is part of our ongoing work with colours and materials. To make sure you don't miss an update or even a new product, we recommend you subscribe to our newsletter (www.vitra.com/newsletter). Best regards, Vitra.
LOVE all Eames....too bad that the lounge is so fucking uncomfortable. No one wants to admit tihs chair is a torture rack. If there was an adjustment it would be great.....too many people buy thos torture rack for the "look"
Thank you for the visualy beutifull insights into the history of Charles & Ray Eames and Vitra.
Thank you. A tour de force of refinement, ingenuity and beauty. I now have a few more sites to see on my next trips to Germany and California.

Such an interesting material. I'm looking forward to the new Vitra Session! Greetings from Brazil.
Every part of this video was great but I loved the last 2 minutes the best, thank you.

At 13:37 we see the Eames ESU in a new color-scheme and an Eames barstool in Light Blue fiberglass. When will these become available?
