Yeah, same. I just didn't big enough changes in (let's call it what it is) DnD 5.5E to warrant a switch over. Just small tweaks here and there. I can do that to 5e if I see it fitting.
Aint no way people are actually gonna switch to OneDnD.
It was already hard to switch between 4e and 5e and that was just because the player base was much smaller and cause 4e was quite disliked

Or even just a few shorts on how to powergame Pathfinder! One thing I’ve heard about that system is that it encourages people to powergame and come up with unique combos, especially through taking feats, so I could see a Pathfinder video getting pretty wild!

I love Make A Wish! It's a wonderful charity and they're the real deal. I think it's something like 90% of donations go straight to the kids. And they really do make a difference. I was a Make A Wish kid when I was younger, one of the lucky ones to survive beyond childhood. They gave me and my family a 4-day vacation to Florida and tickets to Disney and Universal parks. It's my main happy memory from my childhood. Terminal illness is a huge drain, not just on a family's money, but on their happiness too. It was so huge that my whole family had the opportunity to set aside seriousness and sacrifice so that we could indulge in the luxury of fun.
The folks at Make A Wish were amazing at their job! I had depression and anxiety as a kid and I didn't know what would make me happy. They spent hours talking to me to figure out what I enjoyed and what I cared about. I was a big reader and into Harry Potter at the time, they helped me figure out that I wanted to go to Harry Potter World in Florida. And then they threw in all the Disney parks and some quality HP merch, as well as front of the line passes and meal vouchers, a limo ride to the airport and first class airline tickets! They even had a representative in Florida who showed us around and was there to help if we needed anything or there was any medical emergency. They went above and beyond to give me and my family a truly happy moment. I still think about it often, like I said, it's my main happy memory as a kid.

I wanted to say thank you for being one of the main inspirations to get into character creation because I can't play Dnd often but have a giant list of unique characters I could make a whole world letting out of. Everything from a Bard Politician who uses exhaustive speeches and rallying the people to fight for a better world to take down corrupt monarchs, a Human Fighter who has been cursed to take on the appearance of a fiendish hound when in the presence of other friends as a mockery of his Guard Dog like nature to then backfire when it allows him to hunt hidden fiends across the realms, a mercy monk who was a failed new vessel to a Mummy Lord now is wrapped in a seemingly endless amount of magic bandages that let him heal and harm while on the run from the cult leader who wants revenge for their dead Lord, and a lot more like my Changling Clown murderer or well you get the point and thank you.
I worked the sound system for my church(s) for over 25 years and I can tell you that I am so glad that you clap instead of tapping the microphone. Every time I see someone tap a mic for a sound test I die a little inside.
The 'worry' turns to down from watching SO MANY RUclipsrs run themselves ragged. So long as you are doing well, keep doing what you are doing

Ive been following you for about a year (maybe more i have no perception of time) and i can honestly say your one of my favorites in the dnd scene. Genuine passion and compassion seem to be in short supply nowadays, and my belief that you are a good source of both has only been bolstered by this video. Keep doing what your doing man, and as long as you continue to follow your heart you'll continue to make great strides.

This maybe a bit out there, but what if you have a contest for your fans? Fan submissions for homebrew content, where you focus on either a subclass, spell, or magic item for the contest. Widdle down what you and your team turn out to be your favorites, and then turn around and have the community pick from your favorites. The winners for each category could have the opportunity of having their content showcased in your next book? I think it could be a good way of giving back to the community as well as giving your community a moment to shine.

So glad I stumbled upon this channel when I did and have been following ever since. You are just a wholesome sort injecting positivity and cheer into the mundane everyday. Definitely keep at it but remember, life comes first. Never worry or fear taking the time that you need for you.
Less sappy now... that Make-a-Wish skit was hilarious. As for moving forwards and possible suggestions, and I don't know, maybe you already do this(?), but maybe theorycrafting videos. Like taking on an idea of a character build and making it work. Not anything like 'here's how to best optimize a Hexblade Paladin' but something... different? I don't know how best to explain it.

As a new DM and new to DnD you've made what seemed like a task of preparing adventures into something fun, trying to find things i can add into my games that'll make thw players laugh and give us all a good time. I got into DnD to get away from life in general, being a single farther to 2 boys both under 4 I needed an escape that was going to be cheap but fun. Now almost a year and a half later and a ton load pf money on resource books and other cool stuff, finding fun people to follow on RUclips giving great ideas and insights like yourself os making me want to start a channel of my own, from the struggles of running your firat adventure to writing homebrews.

Definitely take more breaks! I only learned recently that I should be taking breaks whether I think I need to or not. Shit builds up whether you notice or not.
You know what sucks? When you get a campaign and all worked out but your friends are too busy to attend. When you found this cool indie system, but the people at your gaming store only play the big name systems. Or, like me, have mental health problems where you cannot attend for the multi-hour sessions games like 5e call for. Maybe you're even in the countryside and can't contact many, if any players.
The solution? Solo play! I'd love to see some content on rolling oracles and question answering tables to forge your adventure during play. Could probably tie in with promoting others by showcasing some of the solo play supplements and adventures.
I've always loved your content before and I have more reason to watch your going forward. Whatever you do, you'll always have my support.

A great concept I'd like to see is videos taking a character archtype and showing how it can be interpreted through various classes, subclasses, races and backgrounds. Rather than the other way around. Like taking a ninja concept and interpreting it through a variety of character combos. Or a trickster that could be bard or druid or rogue...
Different content is always a good one. Having fun is important along with of course the $$. So I hope you enjoy yourself. I"ll keep supporting

I want to see more of those character builds to get the most out of your characters...I would really appreciate a build that lets the character speak as many languages as possible with the least amount of stuff as well as a "party guinea pig" type build where the party uses them as a sort of "let's test this unknown thing on [Insert character name here] and see what happens" and just have them take it with a minimal affect as possible (outside combat of course, in combat things go as normal)
