Its funny cuz they say in the beginning never heard of him before, only 3 months ago they did a reaction to against the wind and loved it. I was so excited when they did that song and had to click right away for this one, love seger. Sorry for you loss ♡
One of my favorite lyrics in that song, "wish I didn't know now what I didn't know back then" which is interesting because I think I read or heard somewhere before that he contemplated taking that one out but changed his mind. So glad he did.
It’s funny how you don’t hear a song in forever, but the lyrics come rushing back when you hear it again. I grew up listening to Rock radio from my older brother and sister... good memories. Classic song. 👍
This song was also sung by Kenny Rogers and Sheena Easton. Bob Seger wrote it. The piano you heard was played by Bob Seger. He's an extremely talented artist and songwriter. His songs have a story behind them. Please play more of his music you will not be disappointed!
Bob played the piano part during live performances, but session musician Barry Beckett played the piano part on the studio version. Bob did, however, play piano on "Still the Same".
you probably dont give a shit but if you are bored like me during the covid times you can stream pretty much all the latest movies and series on InstaFlixxer. Been streaming with my brother for the last few days =)
Welcome to the wonderful world of Bob Seger! Other must reactions from him are: Main Street, Roll Me Away, Fire Inside, Hollywood Nights, and Night Moves. A great storyteller but also a great rocker. Such a fantastic collection and repertoire.
He's the same artist who sang Against The Wind that you reacted to about 3 months ago. He's a great great songwriter. This song is so beautifully delivered. Just a man singing what's inside his heart with no gimmicks. Just beautiful.
Bob Seger was my Mom's fave singer back in the day! It reminds me of the most bittersweet Xmas. It was the first one without my dad. My sister was two weeks old. We had this playing and we all just sort of had a silent moment and danced together. A Christmas I'll never forget.
PLEASE REACT TO BOB SEGAR "OLD TIME ROCK AND ROLL" IT WAS MY MOMMYS FAVORITE SONG. SHE'S BEEN IN HEAVEN 4 YEARS NOW AND IT ALWAYS MAKES ME SMILE WHEN I HEAR IT..GOD BLESS YOU BOYS AND KEEP YOU SAFE
Y'all have opened a very deep rabbit hole with Bob Seger. Amazing songwriter, storyteller, and musician. The list is long. One of my dad's favorites so I grew up listening to a lot of Seger. The memory of seeing him in concert with my dad will always hold a very special place in my heart ♥
He has about forty or fifty really outstanding songs, no foolin'. Just from this album you could totally jam to "Hollywood Nights" "Still The Same" "Till It Shines" and most of all, "Old Time Rock & Roll." You gotta react to that last one - it's absolutely iconic. Watch one of Tom Cruise's early films called "Risky Business" to see one huge reason why it's such a big deal.
Damn Love Bob Seger🙌🏽💙 I know you’ve heard him before but so so excited you heard him again! 👏🏽🙌🏽 Benny Mardonis Guys! Into the Night is the song🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽 Give it a listen 🎧

Seger's "Turn the Page" is my favorite of his. Great story of an entertainer's life on the road. Surprisingly he also does my favorite rendition of the Christmas classic "Little Drummer Boy".
You guys PLEASE? Play Bob's "Turn The Page". It's the perfect description of a long haired rock star on the road in the 70's and even now. I saw him 3 years ago and he is the same as he was 40 years ago. The real deal! Also, you'll love: 1. Turn The Page 2. Fire Down Below 3. Famous Final Scene 4. Today is Bob Seger's 76th birthday. He was really big in the late 70s and early 80s. I got to see him and the Silver Bullet Band in Milwaukee back around 1979. He has a wonderful voice.
The thing you can’t describe is the beauty of the older singer/songwriters. Nothing like a phenomenal song sang by the person who went through the experiences. ❤️❤️❤️
