Mh...none actually.....none of them has the dynamic range necessary to really capture a good singers voice. I would honestly use a recorder like the zoom h1 recorder and hook up a mic for vocals, then hook up the zoom to the m3. That will give you the best results for vocals on a budget in my opinion. A mic like this one for example: www.amazon.com/Behringer-Ultravoice-Dynamic-Microphone-Cardioid/dp/B0002KZAKS/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1533934831&sr=8-3&keywords=microphone+vocals If you want a compact setup, you could use one like this, switching the A5100 with the M3 of course: ruclips.net/video/WHh324ebSvs/видео.html Here'S some audio tests with this setup, if you're interested. I am not singing though:): ruclips.net/video/WHh324ebSvs/видео.html Hope that helps you out a little. More questions? Just ask.... Greetings!
In my opinion, this is the BEST, not only it can be done in a low budget but very practical. Other videos(they're great, no doubt) but will need to purchase rig(they're not cheap and a bit hefty). This is more discreet and compact when I'm in rush or on feet.
Right on! Hey quick question if you don't mind me asking - I am between the g7x and m3. I know the m3 has an audio jack and changeable lenses which make it appealing but I have heard great things about the g7x. Any suggestion? Thanks!
I was in the same boat as you, decided to go with the m3 because the versatility and the camera being open to upgrades and change is very useful in the long term, check out amazon for some awesome bundle packages for the m3!
It's the more compact form factor, and because of the f1.8 it does better in lowlight if you compare with the M3 kit lenses (otherwise of course the aps c size sensor smokes the one inch one), but that*s where the fun ends in my opinion:) It's a contrast detect only AF system, no audio input, 24mm ff eq on the wide end is decent, but with the m3 you can put on the 11 22 for example and get a really good wide angle that's pretty sharp considering the price point. You can get external audio at a still compact form factor with the setups in the video and the AF system is a hybrid with at least some phase detection AF points which does help video AF performance considerably. If you can live with the somewhat bigger form factor my recommendation between these two would be the m3. Should you land on the m3, and you*re into video more than into stills, and you wanna go kit lens, I would also recommend going with the 15 45 instead of the 18 55. Again a 24mm ff eq considering the 1.6 crop factor of the m3. What kind if videography do you want to do?
Thank you for the responses! The M3 with the 11 22 sounds like a good option. Is the 10 18 decent enough or is the 11 22 worth the extra money? I plan on making short videos/vlogs of my family as the kids grow to keep as memories. Some basic photography as well.
I was trying to decide between the Rode Videomicro and the Edutige ETM 008. The Edutige has a 59 db signal to noise ratio. Rode doesn't publish the S/N ratio for the Micro. What sold me on the Micro was the wind test with the Rycote foam screen.
The ETM 008 has a 69db SNR, probably a typo on your part, just as an info for you. The 009 even tops that with 75db. But definitely the rode puffin beats anything Edutige has to offer right now. Bigger form factor, but with better results. Greetings!
Found this through your most recent micro mic video. Thanks for the cross-link! I had missed this one! Just ordered the parts to outfit my M3. I was using a hot shoe mounted Rode mic but can't stand not being able to use the flip-up screen. This looks like a great solution that will get me a little more life out of my M3 before I break down and just get a different camera.
Nice work! This is FAR better than the previous set up, which was already very creative and effective. But this is way more practical. Keep up the great work.
Thank you so much for the tips! But I have problem with my eos m3 audio, there is like wind noise when shooting indoor when there is no wind at all, do you have any idea what to do with the setting? I tried to use external clip on mic too but still, the sound like bzzzzzzzzzzzzz , 😿
What you're hearing is either the noise floor of the cam or the mic, Try a mic with like a 10db pregain to get cleaner audio. Like the takstar sgc 598 or something like that.
Mhh....nothing really near the form factor of a rode micro or rode me with equal quality that I know of, which doesn*t mean there isn't such a mic:) For the lightning adapter of the iPhone there's the zoom q series 5 6 and 7. iRig has the Mic Cast Ultra... Rode has the iXY.... Of course you can use an adapter cable and hook up like an Edutige ETM 001 for example.... Other than that, for the hotshoe mount of course there's many choices..but that's not what you+re looking for right?
Excellent video editing. You mentioned a custom foam wind screen for the Video Micro "because it looks better". But no wind testing or information on this wind screen. Is there any handling noise picked up by any of these 3 external mics ?
Hey, Bellva dear! Sorry about that. The second wind noise test of the video micro is done with that foam wind screen. It is that one: Rycote 104410 12cm Standard Hole SGM Foam Windscreen, Single, Black - search on amazon Cut, to fit the video micro. Greetings!
Thanks for another great review. I took the decision to buy an M3 because of its vlogging capabilities but after a day of testing shooting pictures got a bit annoyed by its slow focus (right now using adapter and 50 mm stm). I feel I am missing the shots. Any thought about this?
Hey, Hector! It's a slow system....what can I tell you....if you need something that focuses fast for stills, the m3 won't make you happy. Taking pictures of fast moving subjects is no fun at all.....if you need fast dead on focus look towards sonys, the A5100 and up for example or the panasonics with the DFD AF systems like the G7.....then again with the sonys the overheating is a problem and with the panasonics the video AF isn't super..... If you want to add like 300-400 bucks wait for the m6 and sell off your m3. M6 has canons dual pixel AF...that's going to be THE vlogging camera of 2017 imho.....higher pricepoint though...but if it lives up to the expectations it's going to be a killer vlogging camera! Hope that helped you out a little. Greetings!
TubeNoob Not only a little :) you helped a lot. I think going to keep it and start from there. at the end these 300-400 bucks can be used for other way more useful stuff. Thanks again and keep pushing ;) Regards from Barcelona
Kept on researching and found olympus epl7 as an good contendant. Good for pics, cheaper, nicer looking and 3 axis stabilitzation in camera. the bad is no mic connection and 3/4 sensor. But maybe for the mic with a zoom h1 would be solved. Any thoughts? dont you feel too much shake on the m3 footage without in camera IS?
Mh....no1080p50, contrast detect AF only, no audio...rather tricky I think, but looks awesome I have to say, beautiful camera for sure. If the eye detection works well, maybe the AF system is usable for vlogging. The m.zuiko lenses are excellent that's for sure....flip up screen....cool. Haven't looked at that camera yet, but you sparked my interest in it:) Yeah the zoom h1 would be a solution, but it's rather big...I am thinking about a solution for cameras with no mic input right now.....there's something in the works here....but don't know yet if it works.... As far as the shake goes.....I don't have a problem with it...the stm m lens I use is stabilized...not the best stabilization....but I like the results....also on the far wide end you don't need quite as much stabilization as on the tele end...so for blogging it's alright in my opinion...Greetings!
Love your vid. Very professional and informative. I also love how you provide links for all the different gear, and even for 3 different regions! Thank you for your hard work.
Mh....it is easier to mount a mic on the m50, because the screen flips out to the side, but the 4k video is heavily cropped and has no dual pixel autofocus and THAT REALLY bothers me. Because for moving shots the 4k doesn*t make you happy. Ask yourself: Are you willling to spend an extra 100 bucks basically for the ability to mount a mic more easily? And you could say "yes" here, I don*t want to sound judgemental in any way. Me personally I would consider this if I had to make that choice. Probably I would go for the ETM 008 though and use the hack. Form factor is kept smaller and if you*re taking a used deal with a return policy fot the m6 you can save some bucks...... Are you maybe interested in doing steady studio work with the camera as well? Because in this case the 4k and mic mount come in handy for sure......if all you want to do is vlog, then get a good used deal on the m6 and use the hack.If you can live with paying more, but having an easier way to mount the mic and MAYBE you also want todo studio work with a fixed focus or very good lighting, then the M50 becomes more interesting than the M6 in my opinion. Hope that helped you out a little. More questions? Just ask... Greetings!
Very very useful, my husband just got me m6, video mic pro and a bracket but then since i'm in the small frame without the muscle to carry all those i'm opting for micro-compact solution and this really helps me a lot. I have a question, if ever I would be removing the velcro from the camera would it be able to remove nicely from the body?
Hello, Rio Tañafranca! Thanks a lot for the nice comment:) Much appreciated:) Yes, if you don't just rip it off it will remove without any residue. Should there still be a little of the white base left, you can rub it off with your thumb until it is removed seamlessly. It won't hurt the rubber of the camera. Greetings!
You're welcome, Gustavo! The M6 might be of interest to you as well! It will propably be THE vlogging camera of 2017. If it lives up to the expectations it'll be a killer setup! Greetings!
Awesome! I will have to check that one out as well. Thanks again. I think all your videos are great. I have to stop watching them on Apple TV so I can give them all a proper thumbs up. I know how much that helps your channel. Cheers.
Hey, Erin:) I have to look into that some time.....doing a quick research I can see that there are lightning to 3 5 mm audio jack adapter cables on amazon.com, there is one from apple.....you could use a simple cheap iphone7 cover and propably put one of the cable ties with the adhesive base on the back of the phone, put the end of the adapter cable in it and then apply the rode video mic me.....but the adapter cable from apple seems to be too short, so a third party one will propably work better.....I can do a video about that, but it'll take me some time, because there's other ones coming:) Maybe that already helped you out a little...I will think of something for you...Greetings!
This is too perfect, I have an M3 and a Videomicro, and I've been trying to use them with a Zhiyun Crane gimbal but the mic mounted on the hot shoe with the included shock mount is too tall to let the gimbal swing around. I had mounted the mic on a magic arm clamped to the handle of the gimbal but then I had a cable management problem, this is much better. I wish I could go back in time and reshoot my nephew's baptism with this setup.
Ah, that's a rycote foam windscreen 10cm length that I simply cut to fit the video micro. This thing: www.amazon.com/Rycote-104408-Standard-Windscreen-Single/dp/B004TGN2Z6/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1519351484&sr=8-1&keywords=rycote+foam+windscreen+10+cm
Always a possibility:) It's just it had been done before, so I did something different. Also I don't really like the hot glue method, but with an l bracket you can rather easily pull it off. It's not exactly what you're asking, but it exemplifies the l bracket solution a bit: ruclips.net/video/7shX5yw-oPQ/видео.html Greetings!
Hey, TheBigDog! Search Amazon for these " JacobsParts V3 Reusable Adhesive Cable Straps with Optional Screw Mount, Heavy Duty, 10 Pack (Black)". They should work. Greetings!
Ooooo, thank you for this! These are fairly inconspicuous mic set-ups... how do you think they would fare at a concert? Also, do you think this setup would alleviate the autofocus noise captured by the G3X internal mic at all?
Again, you*re very welcome:) They would do better than the internal audio for sure. They are not the best options for audio recording in general of course, but they are pretty compact.....if you want to keep a low profile. Won't help the noise problem with the G3X though. I tried that. Since the mic is more sensitive than the internal mic and pretty close to the lens barrel, when mounted at the side like this, it actually picks up the AF motor sound more clearly than the internal mic:)
Hey, Savant! With all of these you will pick up AF noise if the lens isen't silently focusing like the stm m lenses of the eos m3. It's just that the mics ar all pretty good, or at least good enough to pick the noise of an HSM or USM AF system. You will definitely need stm m lenses, ot the efs efm adapter and stm lenses. Hope that helps you out a little. And thanks very much for the nice compliment!! Greetings:)
No, it would not! You would have to find a way to secure it a little, or be careful, when moving the camera quickly, so the mics stays pointed in the right direction. Definitely give it a try:) Greetings!
Hey, o Sigo El Camino! Thanks! much appreciated! That's a generic one. In germany the brand is called Meike. I believe in the US it's NEEWER. Greetings! Search like "DSLR ringlight neewer" on Amazon. I used pieces of 3m dual lock velcro to attach it to the cover of the galaxy s7 edge. Greetings!
Hey, Ei Forc! So sorry for responding so late! Your comment must have somehow totally slipped by me....SORRY. I get all my 3M from Amazon. Just search for: 3M Dual Lock Reclosable Fastener TB4570 Low Profile Clear That should turn up the right results! Again sorry for the delay! Hope that helped you out:) Greetings:)
Hell yeah man I love your videos! I;ve been deciding bewteen vlog cameras for a while now and every camera i look up you always have a good review! Keep up the good work bro!
Hey, Pocket Origin! I guess you're talking about the noise profile of these mics.....the etm 008 is not quite as good as the micro and the mic me, who have pretty much the same noise profile. But all of them do a pretty good job. It also depends on the cables/adapters you use. So getting decent quality there is important as well. Greatings!
Hi, sorry for not being clear. I mean comparing both mic on background noise rejection like when talking into the mics in busy street for example. How well to they perform in picking up from only the person talking in front of the mic and rejecting other street noise such as cars etc. Anyway, big fan here. Your videos are on my first to watch list. Thanks.
Hi just stumbled on your video. Is there any way to use Rode lightning mic with this configuration? I have been searching the internet without any joy.
@tubeNoob, Ive been searching for a while to buy a good camera that can do both stills and vids but still wont break the bank. i decided on the M3, but then i realised that if i mount a mic i wont be able to flip the screen up anymore! I almost gave up on the M3 and wanted to get a dslr with side flip screen untill i saw ur vid just now! genius! thanks so much
thank you for this video .. it has really helped , i was looking to get the canon m3 and was prepared to go for the rhode go for the external audio and get a side slider as well so that i could use the flip screen without any obstruction.. .. but this setup just makes way more sense. . P.S , im still a little confused as to which camera to go for. . stuck between the sony a6000 and the canon m03 , but was leaning more towards the canon(only because of the flip screen).. your advice would be very helpful.. for an all round vlogging experience ? p.s Im from india and its very noisy here..very.
Hey, Siddhant! Thank you for the nice comment!! It comes down to overheating but stellar AF (Sony A6000) vs no overheating and external audio (EOS M3). If you*re ok with internal audio, which if it is very noise where you are might be a bad choice, and are only doing relatively short takes, no long talking head stuff, then the AF of the A6000 will make you way happier than the AF of the M3. On the other hand, if you really need external directional audio for what you do, because of the noise pollution, and you sometimes do want to do longer takes, then overall the EOS M3 will make you happier. The Sony is more of a diva, you have to know how to handle her, whereas the canon is more of a workhorse, can't do fancy stuff, but once you tell it to go, it just goes on and on, no problems. EOS M6 of interest to you. Its expensive but pretty much a combination of the above cameras. No overheating, flip up screen, great dual pixel AF, external audio, nice color reproduction, small form factor. Hope that helps you out a little. Greetings!
thank you thats great advice .. ive been looking into the M6 , looks promising.. and as for the 3 pole adapter, trying to look for that here as well.. hope i can find that or by another 3rd party maker, as ording one from the US or EU takes very long .. and kind of impatient to get started .. again ,thanks for all your help and time.. will keep watching you
You*re welcome! But should you go with the M6, the version of the external audio setup using the adapter won't work, because the metal piece it attached to is different on the M6 body. You then need to use this setup which also works with the M6: ruclips.net/video/q88p4CdchmI/видео.html I will do a separate video for the M6 soon! Greetings and thanks for taking the time to write the nice comments!
TubeNoob Thank you for all your help.. I look forward to your video on M6.. And I really appreciate all the time and effort you take to make these videos..its what we in India call 'jugaad', which means resourcefulness. India runs on that thought process.. Pls get enough sleep .. We want you fresh and happy.
Thanks, yeah I always try to nail the exposure for the part, not my hands, but I have since done a better job at it:) Thank you for the nice comment! Greetings!
I have the rode videomicro and I think the hissing noise is from the camera. I have tried to turn the audio levels down to four ticks, but I still get the hissing noise from the camera. What are your audio level settings on the camera?
Hey again, benagon! My levels are axactly midpoint for all three setups/mics...allthough the micro and the mic me could use a little more than that and the etm 008 a little less than that, but I can deal with that in post. I really think it might be the adapter cable....I have used a cheap one and that gave me some trouble, but nothing much really....I currently use the Fiio L17...which is great, expensive but excellent and has the almost perfect size for the setup. I don't think it's the camera, to be honest, except if there's something not right with it. Definitely try a good adapter cable though, before sending the camera in for a check up. Let me know how it goes...greetings!
Hey, Momma Lee! The white tape thingy is called a cable strap, sometimes it is also referred to as a cable tie. If you can't find it, there's affiliate links to amazon in the description. Greetings!
Hey Zane! They have different names sometimes. Search for something like adjustable cable ties or check the affiliate links in the description, they link to the exact cable ties. Greetings!
I also use canon M6. I have a question before decide to buy either the rode video micro or rode video ME. I read that the rode video ME use the TRRS 3.5 jack that allows us to plug headphone for the sound monitoring while recording a video. Does it work with canon M6 camera? Thanks for your help...
Hi Tubenoob Can I ask something about manual settings of CanonM3 my cam now us 3weeks old I am trying to shoot Manual the result of the pictures is black can you help me
Hey, daddy belg:) Can you tell me more about the setup you're using? Like what lens, what shutter, f.stop and iso settings have you used? Are you in manual stills mode or in manual video mode? Is it a completely black image or just a very dark one? In what kind of lighting situation have you experienced this effect? It is hard to solve the problem without this info, because I have never had that happen to me... Sorry for all the questions....greetings!
thank you soo much for the reply Tubenoob is about my picture shoot Manual mode F8 ISO Auto Manual_ 1/3200 canon m3 my video mode is ok only problem when I take picture in manual mode but when is automatic mode pictures are also good thank you soo much for your time greatings jovy
OK...your ISO and f.stop settings shouldn't give you any trouble actually....if you have enough light......3200 is a fast shutter speed...maybe that's it? Have you tried lower shutter speeds?.....but then again ISO Auto should at least give you a noisy image of some sort:)) What are you trying to photograph? What is the lighting situation like? Day? Night? Afternoon? Artificiial lighting? Greetings!
Hey, JT BASIC! Much appreciate the nice comment:) I guess the up side with the ME is that you can also use it with a mobile device....the MICRO is more easily reversible though....also it comes with a shock mount, so if you want to put it on another camera the regular way later that is a plus.....quality-wise they're the same, given that you use decent quality adapter cables. Greetings!
Hey, Benagon! Haven't run into serious noise issues with the setups yet. Once used a very cheap adapter cable that gave me problems, but also nothing serious. Where do you run into the problem? Camera only or with which mic/s? Greetings!
Hey, Alfie Guevarra0818! Well....I was raised on adobe premiere, so that's the one I use mostly.....5% final cut......final cut has the better performance on a mac, but premiere is more versatile and easier to customise in my opinion.....used Sony vegas once and could make it work, but can't tell you much about it.....sorry I don't have a better answer:)
Hey, pNoid2k1! Thanks for your question! Just realized that I messed up the links in the description for these cables through you. Now they're the right ones. The names vary: US: Seadream 2PACK Newest 6 inch 3-Pole 3.5mm Male Right Angle to 3.5mm Female Stereo Audio Cable Headset Extension UK: LiKuCo 3Pack 6 inch 3-Pole 3.5mm Male Right Angle to 3.5mm Female Stereo Audio Cable Headset Extension Cable DE: KRS - KB8 - Stereo Verlängerung Verbindungskabel 3 Polig Klinken Stecker 3,5 mm gewinkelt 90° Aux in /Stereo Klinken Buchse 3,5 mm ca. 16 cm Sorry for the mixup with the GoPro setup! Hope that helps you out. Greetings!
Hi! My 2nd hand Canon EOS M3 detects my external microphone plugged in(boya BY M1) but it uses the internal microphone. How to use the external microphone?
Hey! I'm so sorry I know this video is older but hopefully you can help me! I just got this microphone for my Canon EOS M3;; and I'm struggling to get it to work. Its just not picking up the audio;; it's appearing to be plugged in but just won't pick up sound! I've set the sound recording to manual but have had no luck;; I'm not sure if you have this camera/microphone;; but do you have any recollection on what my issue may be?? I'm using the cables that came with the mic! Thank you so much regardless ♥️
Bin der Typ mit dem Shoutout. Du bist ja so geil das du des rein gemacht hast !! 😂 ich würds dir echt gönnen wenn dein Kanal läuft Abo und like sind raus
question... video recording with EOS M3 should be stereo yeah? (external mic... namely Sennheiser MKE 400 mk2) for some odd reason, my audio track is mono... sigh
Hey, Thrsonic Fire! I guess you're talking about the ETM 008 from Edutige. Yes, you can plug in in directly, but since it is a directional mic you then can't talk into it when you*re in front of the camera. But technically it will work just fine. Greetings!
Hey, Erickson Bertrand! The names differ a lot of times, because these are such generic parts. Search for something like "Adhesive Backed Black Wire Clip" or"Reusable Adhesive Cable Straps". That should bring up the desired search results or results close to these cable ties. Greetings!
Hey, Just a Lifestyle! If you want better wind protection - Rode Micro because of the excellent puffin. If you want less hiss, then the ETM 008 is better, lower self noise ratio. So vlogging outside mostlyI would go Ride Video Micro, hiss won*t be as noticable with all the ambience sounds, but the wind protection is very good. Rather using the camera at home in silent environments, where hiss is more noticable, I would go ETM 008, because hiss then will be much less of a problem. Hope that helps you out a little. Greetings!
Hey hows it going, i am an amateur videographer myself, though i have not really ever worked on my own channel (mainly for others), i use a s7edge with a video mic go ( the one that needs no cable and plugs directly into the camera). For some reason, microphones seem to have clicks and pops when there are to many cellphones near me, or i am streaming live to instagram and facebook. these pops and clicks dissapear if i go into airplane mode or stay away from all sorts of rf sources, is there any way to sheild my setup fromrf interference? or do i have to upgrade to better microphones?
Wow, now that's what I call a tech question! I have to look into that before I can answer you, because I haven't had the problem yet. Can you describe the problem a little further? Do these clicks appear randomly or are there intervals to this? Are they different in volume? How many of them come up? Sorry that I can't help you right away, but I will do some research into this! Greetings!
TubeNoob this issue is apparent when the cellphone is using WiFi heavily, such as doing a live stream on instagram, surrounded by RF sources (many people using cellphones at a party for example), or using LTE. These symptoms go away from when all of the sources are removed from proximity. These sounds are like static, and clicking and popping. Very strange, maybe I should return the microphone? (returning the cellphone is not really an option &
I did some test today and I now know what you're talking about. I only had three other sources near my phone when recording, but I heard the "static" and the clicks on the audio track. Diabeling wifi on the devices got rid of the problem. People seem to have the same problem with gopro audio when using the go pro app. In that case it is even the device itself that messes with its own audio. Haven't had the time to do much research yet, but I don't think there's a simple way to get around this problem, except of course switching to gear that uses different electronic parts and better shielding relating to cables. Maybe I will find a solution over easter....at least now I know what it is we're talking about. External recorder an option for you?
while i am considering an external recorder it detracts from the live quality of my shoots, having a run and gun gear with a decent directional microphone makes for an amazing experience. Combo of s7, stabilizer, mini shotgun mic, and LTE streaming is really cool. in anycase, maybe it shall inspire you to produce a video about best practices to keep all equipment playing nice with each other.
Hey, Super Jeepney! Mine in germany is called a "KRS KB8", but in the US for example its a "Seadream 2PACK 6 inch 3-Pole 3.5mm Male Right Angle to 3.5mm Female Stereo Audio Cable" I put a new US link in the description. Didn't know the other one didn't work anymore. Hope that helps you out. Greetings!
Hey, Jack Speed! I cut a rycote 18cm foam windscreen 2 thirds the way down. There is also a 12 cm option for that foam windscreen. Hope that helps you out a little. Greetings!
Amazing hack dude! I'm ordering this. You wouldn't happen to have some of those big cable ties lying around, would you? Can't find those anywhere, and shipping them in from the US is more expensive than the actual ties cost... And perhaps some of that 3M velcro too? I'd be more than happy to buy some off of your hands ;)
Hey, Boardgame Heaven! Thanks for taking the time to write such a nice comment, much appreciated:) I checked amazon uk again. If you search for dual lock velcro that should turn up some useful results. If you still can't find the right ones for some reason, I have put another link for two tiny little pieces in the description. I have only a couple of the big cable ties left, sorry. Are you situated within the UK? I will ask Jacobs Parts when they will restock. Other than that I can order some for myself and send you a pack. Greetings!
Thanks! I'm in The Netherlands, we're practically neigbours :P Jacobs Parts is in the US, right? I emailed them and they told me shipping economy is $18,50, which is quite a lot for a €1,10 part... So I was wondering if there was a EU store that has them somewhere. BoutiqueTrading shop on Amazon has them, but doesn't ship to The NL! :( But if you can set me up, that'd be awesome! Think you can do that in time for october 21st? I'm visiting Mayschoss in Germany then, and a week later I'm going to Spiel Essen. Hoping to vlog at both events.
I found another seller on Amazon: angemart1999 (it ships from Hong Kong though, so it's gonna take some time...) I'll just risk it and order on Amazon. TYVM! I'm all set, now we wait for the gear to arrive... Wooh!
I will check....i could do it for a little less, would be about 13 euros, but unfortunately they won't arrive in time. Shop says minimum of 14 business days, maximum of 21. So that won*t work. I can't find a prime option deal. I fI could get them with prime shipping them to you would be 6 days max according to DHL in germany....but can't find one. Sry.....
No, the camera has no mic input unfortunately. But such a setup will work: ruclips.net/video/Z8V5F62kalU/видео.html Here's some mic comparisons: ruclips.net/video/WHh324ebSvs/видео.html You still have to sync the audio in post production though. Greetings!
Thank you so much! This will help my vlogs audio immensely I really have been wanting to improve my Audio. I have a G7x MK II and am getting a zoom H1 hopefully it will do the trick (no mic input....😣) def liked and subbed you’re awesome
Tubenoob! Recently subscribed! I am purchasing everything needed exactly as in your video, including the EOS M3 for the 3rd setup exactly (with the Rode Video Mic ME). My question is, which Wire Clip is the correct one to get it like its on your video? the small or big one? (There are 2 options in the description links). Aaaand (because its not shown in the video), with the Rode Video Mic ME setup is it still able to detach and attach again? Thank you so much! Keep it up! - Using your direct links for purchasing ;)
Hey, Gonzalo! Glad you liked the video:) For the Video Mic ME you need the big ones. The Video Mic ME can still be detached and reattached, you can also turn it backwards and the cable will still connect to the camera, although it only barely does so it will still fit... Hope that helps you out. Thanks for using the links, really helps me out, man. Thank you. Greetings!
I had two of the red cable and they both pulled apart at the wire to the camera adapter part. I found a better wire on Amazon but it has 3 rings, I wanna use the mic etm001 (2 ring) with the new wire but I'm unsure if it's working. I can hear my voice test through the phone with both wires, is this because it uses both the samsung s7 Mic and external? Do i need a ring converter or is there no difference and it should work? Thanks in advance The new wire: KetDirect 20cm(0.6ft) Right angle 4 pole 3.5mm 1/8 inch male to 4 pole 3.5mm 1/8 inch Female Stereo Audio headphone earphone Extension Cable adapter Cord Tangle-Free Braided wire www.amazon.com/dp/B01CZNLTJA/ref=cm_sw_r_other_apa_ZoeZzbA4KEPP1
Hey, PROJECT ANUBIS! The new wire won't work with the camera or the mic, because both need a 3.5mm 3 pole connection, the two rings that is. These are some in black. Maybe they help, except if you used the same ones in red:) www.amazon.com/Seadream-3-Pole-Female-Headset-Extension/dp/B01DCBJ51I/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1506637639&sr=1-1&keywords=Right+angle+3+pole+3.5mm+male+to+3+pole+3.5mm+Female+Stereo+Audio Hope that helps you out a little. Greetings!
I know this is an older video, and you have probably moved on from the eos M videos. But i would really like to see how the remote shooting works via wifi on the M series cameras. I think it's monumentally stupid, that none of the Eos M cameras works with usb tethered shooting from a computer or tablet, but if the wifi apps works ok for assuring you are in focus, making simple exposure adjustments etc. i guess i could live with it (I've got an offer for an Eos M3 for 250 euros, to upgrade from my current M1, which has NO remote monitor options, which is the only reason i want another camera) I do DIY videos, restaurations, woodworking, electronics etc, not vlogs, but the things i work on are in front of the camera, so being able to frame, adjust, compose, and monitor shots from in front of the camera is very important. But often the camera has to be placed over head, or some other place where reaching the touch screen is not practical (i also often have dirty hands), so being able to use a cheap tablet as a monitor, trigger, ISO adjustment tool etc, would be great. You make such great and in depth videos, that answer questions none of the other cookie cutter "reviewers" touch, so i appreciate it. Great production value as well. Keep up the good work.
Thank you very much again, Peter G! Love to read such awesome comments! I have moved on from those cameras unfortunately. I can*t tell you how good the wifi works. You will have to test it yourself I guess. But if you don*t need lag free live view, it should be workable. I don*t see why it should be a problem to set up a shot. Manual crontols are available.... Will do my best to keep it up:) Greetings!
Hey ... love your video I have a M3 which mic would you recommend for the singing videos
A mic like this one for example: www.amazon.com/Behringer-Ultravoice-Dynamic-Microphone-Cardioid/dp/B0002KZAKS/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1533934831&sr=8-3&keywords=microphone+vocals
If you want a compact setup, you could use one like this, switching the A5100 with the M3 of course: ruclips.net/video/WHh324ebSvs/видео.html
Here'S some audio tests with this setup, if you're interested. I am not singing though:): ruclips.net/video/WHh324ebSvs/видео.html
Hope that helps you out a little. More questions? Just ask....
Greetings!
If I HAD TO choose, the video mic me:)
TubeNoob I have ordered this from your links
In my opinion, this is the BEST, not only it can be done in a low budget but very practical. Other videos(they're great, no doubt) but will need to purchase rig(they're not cheap and a bit hefty). This is more discreet and compact when I'm in rush or on feet.
Hey, Henry Cho! Thanks for the nice comment! Glad you enjoyed the video:) Greetings!
ETM-008 - 2:25
VideoMicro - 3:38
VideoMic ME - 6:07
Now THAT is one hell of a useful comment!
It's the more compact form factor, and because of the f1.8 it does better in lowlight if you compare with the M3 kit lenses (otherwise of course the aps c size sensor smokes the one inch one), but that*s where the fun ends in my opinion:)
It's a contrast detect only AF system, no audio input, 24mm ff eq on the wide end is decent, but with the m3 you can put on the 11 22 for example and get a really good wide angle that's pretty sharp considering the price point.
Dude, you're extremely creative. Love your ideas on lots of your videos.
Thanks, man! Love to hear that:)!
Cool:) Great to hear that! Thanks for the nice comment, Geek:) Much appreciated!
Nice work! This is FAR better than the previous set up, which was already very creative and effective. But this is way more practical. Keep up the great work.
Great you liked it! Thanks for a super cool tiny shotgun mic:)!
I guess alternatively you can buy a smallrig and put a hotshoe on the side. Then you can add a light along with a microphone.
Like the takstar sgc 598 or something like that.
are there any mics like that, mean near micro or compact that are not directional?
Mhh....nothing really near the form factor of a rode micro or rode me with equal quality that I know of, which doesn*t mean there isn't such a mic:)
For the lightning adapter of the iPhone there's the zoom q series 5 6 and 7.
iRig has the Mic Cast Ultra...
It is that one:
Rycote 104410 12cm Standard Hole SGM Foam Windscreen, Single, Black - search on amazon
Cut, to fit the video micro.
Haven't looked at that camera yet, but you sparked my interest in it:)
Yeah the zoom h1 would be a solution, but it's rather big...I am thinking about a solution for cameras with no mic input right now.....there's something in the works here....but don't know yet if it works....
Thank you for taking the time to write such a nice comment! Much appreciated:)
Canon M50 or m6 for vlog which one Do you prefer?
Thanks a lot for the nice comment:) Much appreciated:)
Yes, if you don't just rip it off it will remove without any residue. Should there still be a little of the white base left, you can rub it off with your thumb until it is removed seamlessly. It won't hurt the rubber of the camera.
Greetings!
I just wanted to say thank you so much for this. I can't afford everything here yet, but this video is great for when I eventually get there :)
You*re very welcome, Andy C! Much appreciated:)
Great videos and after watching the progress on the M3, I am considering switching away from my current 70D-based setup. Thanks for all the hard work!
Cheers.
Cool! Much appreciated, man!
Can you do a setup on the iPhone 7 because I want to vlog but there are no cheap microphones with a lightning adapter.
Thanks for the suggestion, you are the first RUclipsr that has ever replied to me. Cool videos!
Thanks a lot:) Never get tired of hearing that:))
Thanks for the nice compliments, Alexander! Much appreciated:) Well, I am sure you got a very good video anyway! Greetings!
Hey there, which microphone can I get for a Canon M100 since it doesn’t have a microphone input?
You cannot hook up a mic to that camera. You can only get a separate mic and later sync the audio in your editing software.
I keep coming back to your channel for tips on the m3 or m6 camera. Really quick: What kind of custom wind muff did you use at 4:54?
Ah, that's a rycote foam windscreen 10cm length that I simply cut to fit the video micro.
This thing:
www.amazon.com/Rycote-104408-Standard-Windscreen-Single/dp/B004TGN2Z6/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1519351484&sr=8-1&keywords=rycote+foam+windscreen+10+cm
Thanks a lot, tubnoob. You've been so helpful
You*re welcome:)
How about mounting a hot shoe on the side instead of the band thing ?
Always a possibility:) It's just it had been done before, so I did something different. Also I don't really like the hot glue method, but with an l bracket you can rather easily pull it off.
It's not exactly what you're asking, but it exemplifies the l bracket solution a bit: ruclips.net/video/7shX5yw-oPQ/видео.html
Greetings!
What exact zip tie do you need for the last setup with the rose video mic me?
Hey, TheBigDog! Search Amazon for these " JacobsParts V3 Reusable Adhesive Cable Straps with Optional Screw Mount, Heavy Duty, 10 Pack (Black)". They should work. Greetings!
thank you very much :)
You remind me of Stewie from Family Guy, which makes your videoseven more enjoyable
Ah, come on now:)) Mr. Clean, an egg that grew arms and legs and now Stewie:))))) You guys just keep adding to that list! Haha....lmao:) Greetings!
Awesome videos! Out of all the microphone setups you've posted, can you comment on whether any of them pick up noise from the auto focus?
Hey, Savant! With all of these you will pick up AF noise if the lens isen't silently focusing like the stm m lenses of the eos m3. It's just that the mics ar all pretty good, or at least good enough to pick the noise of an HSM or USM AF system. You will definitely need stm m lenses, ot the efs efm adapter and stm lenses.
Hope that helps you out a little. And thanks very much for the nice compliment!! Greetings:)
Would it be weird to use a saramonic sr-xm1 on this ?? I just love the small size of that microphone
No, it would not! You would have to find a way to secure it a little, or be careful, when moving the camera quickly, so the mics stays pointed in the right direction. Definitely give it a try:) Greetings!
I have been searching for a solution for the M3 for soooo long!! Nailed it dude, thank you
Cool:) Glad you like it! Thanks for the nice comment! Greetings!
Man this is the best solution I have seen, you rock. By the way, what's the ring light that you had on your smartphone? Cheers
Greetings!
Sick setup. Thanks!
You're very welcome:) And thank you:)
Thanks for the informative video. Where did you get the low profile transparent Velcro?
Hey, Ei Forc! So sorry for responding so late! Your comment must have somehow totally slipped by me....SORRY. I get all my 3M from Amazon.
Just search for: 3M Dual Lock Reclosable Fastener TB4570 Low Profile Clear
That should turn up the right results! Again sorry for the delay! Hope that helped you out:) Greetings:)
Thank you so much. I appreciate your response.
Hell yeah man I love your videos! I;ve been deciding bewteen vlog cameras for a while now and every camera i look up you always have a good review! Keep up the good work bro!
Thanks, andre! Much appreciated! Greetings!
Seeing the development on this project is awesome! Found this video very useful! Thank you :)
Great you liked it! Do some cool stuff with it and let me know, would love to watch it. Greetings!
The ETM-008 setup looks great! How is the noise cancellation compare to the Rode Micro/Micme?
Thanks.
Hey, again! Sorry for the delay. I'll do a mic test some time during the week and upload teh video next weekend. Greetings!
That's totally awesome! I'll definately look forward to it. This channel really rocks.
Thanks a lot! Much appreciated!
Hi just stumbled on your video. Is there any way to use Rode lightning mic with this configuration? I have been searching the internet without any joy.
You would need a male 3.5mm 3 pole to female lightning adapter cable. I haven't found one myself unfortunately....sry...
Thanks
Can i also use this tip of yours on my canon m100?
No, the M100 does not have a mic input unfortunately...
This was great man. Thanks!
You*re very welcome, Josh Koerpel! Much appreciate the nice comment:)
@tubeNoob, Ive been searching for a while to buy a good camera that can do both stills and vids but still wont break the bank. i decided on the M3, but then i realised that if i mount a mic i wont be able to flip the screen up anymore! I almost gave up on the M3 and wanted to get a dslr with side flip screen untill i saw ur vid just now! genius! thanks so much
Thanks so much, Anthony! You're very welcome!
Just what I need your added O’🦉one
My added o what?:)
thank you for this video .. it has really helped , i was looking to get the canon m3 and was prepared to go for the rhode go for the external audio and get a side slider as well so that i could use the flip screen without any obstruction.. .. but this setup just makes way more sense.
You then need to use this setup which also works with the M6: ruclips.net/video/q88p4CdchmI/видео.html
I will do a separate video for the M6 soon!
Thank you very much for that nice comment! Much appreciated:)! You're very welcome, Siddhant! Greetings!
what lense you use in your canon m3?
Hey, HIBARNITA Hero! I use the 11-22 STM M super wide angle zoom. Greetings!
TubeNoob thanks bro, im your fans from Indonesia
Good video. Love the idea of using this small microphone.
Hey, Omi Sido! Thanks for the nice comment! I really like the mic, too! Fuguing out an iphone vlogging setup with it at the moment. Greetings!
iPhone vlogging setup? Wow. Can't wait for the video as I am always struggling with sound :-)
Keep up the good job.
Thanks, Omi:)
And where you plug the headphone?
Useful, thanks. Only feedback to you is work on lowering your exposure as it looks overexposed. Thanks again.
Thanks, yeah I always try to nail the exposure for the part, not my hands, but I have since done a better job at it:) Thank you for the nice comment! Greetings!
Awesome video, just what i have been looking for👍🏻
Love to hear that!:)
Its pay day this week so going for the Video Micro setup.
Thanks for supplying the links to amazon, made it so much easier to order every thing :D
Hey, Corner to Corner! Thanks for using them! Really helps out:) Hope you will be happy with it and shoot some great video!
Let me know how it goes...greetings!
im confused. what do you call the adhesive tape you used? not the double sided tape. the white tape thingy so you can remove your mic in your camera?
Hey, Momma Lee! The white tape thingy is called a cable strap, sometimes it is also referred to as a cable tie. If you can't find it, there's affiliate links to amazon in the description. Greetings!
can i get a link to those cables ties i cant seem to find the right ones
There is an affiliate link in the video description that should redirect you to the product on your local amazon page. Working?
TubeNoob oh wow i did not see those aha thank you great vid btw! 👍🏼
What are those ziptie kinda 3m tale things called
Hey Zane! They have different names sometimes. Search for something like adjustable cable ties or check the affiliate links in the description, they link to the exact cable ties. Greetings!
Зачем звук обработал в шумо-понижении? Это слышно!
In english please....google translator just gives me jibberish...
I also use canon M6. I have a question before decide to buy either the rode video micro or rode video ME. I read that the rode video ME use the TRRS 3.5 jack that allows us to plug headphone for the sound monitoring while recording a video. Does it work with canon M6 camera? Thanks for your help...
Hello, Jonathan Ding! No, on the camera it does not work, because it does not send out an audio signal. Greetings!
TubeNoob thanks for your help.. Base on quality wise the rode video micro or rode video Me? Thanks before...
In my experience the video mic me is a little better when it comes to self noise. So I would go with the Video Mic ME. Greetings!:)
Very helpful, setup is working great for my M3 and Video Mic-me duo. Thanks!
to set the mic videomicro what cable do I need? the 3m cable or the small cable?
what I mean is the cable ties
Hey, Rance! For the Video Micro the smaller ones are the right ones. There's affiliate links in the description if you can't find them. Greetings!
TubeNoob thanks!
Sorry for all the questions....greetings!
thank you soo much for the reply Tubenoob is about my picture shoot Manual mode F8 ISO Auto
Manual_ 1/3200 canon m3 my video mode is ok only problem when I take picture in manual mode but when is automatic mode pictures are also good thank you soo much for your time greatings jovy
OK...your ISO and f.stop settings shouldn't give you any trouble actually....if you have enough light......3200 is a fast shutter speed...maybe that's it? Have you tried lower shutter speeds?.....but then again ISO Auto should at least give you a noisy image of some sort:))
What are you trying to photograph? What is the lighting situation like? Day? Night? Afternoon? Artificiial lighting?
Greetings!
Hello, I just want to ask what custom wind muffler did you use for the Rode Video Micro?
Hey, Cezar Navarro! It is not a custom one, it is the proprietary rode one.....the DS9 Windshield to be exact. Greetings!
Your channel is has been such a big help!
Love to hear that:)
thx a lot!
You're very welcome, Gregory Obornev! Much appreciate the nice comment:)
Dude I love your hacks. Looking to buy an m3 and a rode mic. Debating on the ME or the Micro
Hey, JT BASIC! Much appreciate the nice comment:)
I guess the up side with the ME is that you can also use it with a mobile device....the MICRO is more easily reversible though....also it comes with a shock mount, so if you want to put it on another camera the regular way later that is a plus.....quality-wise they're the same, given that you use decent quality adapter cables.
Greetings!
how did you remove the hissing noise from the camera?
Hey, Benagon! Haven't run into serious noise issues with the setups yet. Once used a very cheap adapter cable that gave me problems, but also nothing serious.
Where do you run into the problem? Camera only or with which mic/s?
Greetings!
Any software recommendations for editing video thanks
Hey, Alfie Guevarra0818! Well....I was raised on adobe premiere, so that's the one I use mostly.....5% final cut......final cut has the better performance on a mac, but premiere is more versatile and easier to customise in my opinion.....used Sony vegas once and could make it work, but can't tell you much about it.....sorry I don't have a better answer:)
Thank you so much!! I found this video so helpful. Now I can build my own setup and get to vlogging.
COOL! L O V E to hear that!:)!
What's the name of the red cable @ 1:19?
Hey, pNoid2k1! Thanks for your question! Just realized that I messed up the links in the description for these cables through you. Now they're the right ones. The names vary:
US: Seadream 2PACK Newest 6 inch 3-Pole 3.5mm Male Right Angle to 3.5mm Female Stereo Audio Cable Headset Extension
UK: LiKuCo 3Pack 6 inch 3-Pole 3.5mm Male Right Angle to 3.5mm Female Stereo Audio Cable Headset Extension Cable
DE: KRS - KB8 - Stereo Verlängerung Verbindungskabel 3 Polig Klinken Stecker 3,5 mm gewinkelt 90° Aux in /Stereo Klinken Buchse 3,5 mm ca. 16 cm
Sorry for the mixup with the GoPro setup!
Great videos and great tips keep up the good work buddy 👍🏼👍🏼😊
Thanks, DarkAngel! Much appreciated:)
AWESOME help Thanks🐼
You're very welcome, Alynn Lee! Thanks for the nice comment:)

Abo und like sind raus
Eeeyyyy:) Klar doch, wenn schon jemand so nett ist und son Interesse zeigt! Danke:) Top sach ich! Top:)
question... video recording with EOS M3 should be stereo yeah? (external mic... namely Sennheiser MKE 400 mk2)
for some odd reason, my audio track is mono... sigh
Can i stick the jack from the mic straght in
Hey, Thrsonic Fire! I guess you're talking about the ETM 008 from Edutige. Yes, you can plug in in directly, but since it is a directional mic you then can't talk into it when you*re in front of the camera. But technically it will work just fine. Greetings!
Thank you! I have looked for a solution to vlogg with external audio on the M3!
You*re welcome, DiGazMo! Much appreciated:)
man, you deserve more audience
Thanks, Fariz! Much appreciated!
What si the name for the cable ties
Hey, Erickson Bertrand! The names differ a lot of times, because these are such generic parts. Search for something like "Adhesive Backed Black Wire Clip" or"Reusable Adhesive Cable Straps". That should bring up the desired search results or results close to these cable ties. Greetings!
i'm deciding between a rode micro or the ETM -008 can you help ?? great videos btw helped me a lot
Greetings!
Great information, thank you again for your help .
You*re welcome:)
This really helps! I already ordered my Rode 🎤. 👍
Thanks, Icey Jax, for the nice comment! You're very welcome!
Volume of static gets worse with more sources of interference up to the point where all audio is basically static.
Hey when using the video mic me does it start working as soon as you plug it in or do you have to change the settings in the camera
Hey, SABER-FITNESS! Starts working right away. Greetings!
Thanks and thanks for the videos always very helpful and informative👍🏻👍🏻
You're very welcome!
what is your mic adaptor called?
Hey, Super Jeepney! Mine in germany is called a "KRS KB8", but in the US for example its a "Seadream 2PACK 6 inch 3-Pole 3.5mm Male Right Angle to 3.5mm Female Stereo Audio Cable" I put a new US link in the description. Didn't know the other one didn't work anymore. Hope that helps you out. Greetings!
totally awesome! thank you!
You*re very welcome, Running Guru! Much appreciate the nice comment:)
i may even go buy an M6 with your add ons :-)
Would be a good choice:)
how did u make the custom wind muff?
Hey, Jack Speed! I cut a rycote 18cm foam windscreen 2 thirds the way down. There is also a 12 cm option for that foam windscreen. Hope that helps you out a little. Greetings!
thanks! just got the EOS m3 and this video helped me set it up a lot! thanks.
You*Re very welcome:) Love to hear that!
Excellent video great information.I am a real fan of Edutige microphones.
Ey, Robert! Thanks for the nice comment! Love*em too:)
Thanks for taking the time to write such a nice comment, much appreciated:)
I checked amazon uk again.
Greetings!
Thanks! I'm in The Netherlands, we're practically neigbours :P
Jacobs Parts is in the US, right?
Sry.....
Hope it'll work out for you:)!
cool ideas as always 👍
Thanks, Michael! Sorry for the delayed response! Moving trouble:) Greetings!

links to buy these mics
Hey, Kobz christensen, links to all of that gear is in the video description. Greetings!
Serves for Sony nex-f3 ?
No, the camera has no mic input unfortunately. But such a setup will work: ruclips.net/video/Z8V5F62kalU/видео.html
Here's some mic comparisons: ruclips.net/video/WHh324ebSvs/видео.html
You still have to sync the audio in post production though. Greetings!
Wonderful. Glad I subscribed. Thank you!
Sorry for the delay:) Thanks for the nice compliment! Greetings!
You're the best, Mark!!!
Thanks, man! Sorry for the delayed answer! Was in the process of moving:) Messed up here and there a little:) Greetings!

Thank you so much! This will help my vlogs audio immensely I really have been wanting to improve my Audio. I have a G7x MK II and am getting a zoom H1 hopefully it will do the trick (no mic input....😣) def liked and subbed you’re awesome
Thanks a lot for the support! Likewise:)
great idea! thank you!
Thanks so much, Veselin! Much appreciated:) Greetings!
Thank you soo much! This is really helpful!!
You*re very welcome, Suze !:) Greetings!
Glad you liked the video:)
For the Video Mic ME you need the big ones. The Video Mic ME can still be detached and reattached, you can also turn it backwards and the cable will still connect to the camera, although it only barely does so it will still fit... Hope that helps you out.
Thanks for using the links, really helps me out, man. Thank you.
Greetings!
Already ordered everything, you the best bro! From a fellow vlogger (new one 😂)
Cool! You'll create some great vlogs I'm sure! Have fun with it:)!
Thanks in advance
The new wire:
KetDirect 20cm(0.6ft) Right angle 4 pole 3.5mm 1/8 inch male to 4 pole 3.5mm 1/8 inch Female Stereo Audio headphone earphone Extension Cable adapter Cord Tangle-Free Braided wire www.amazon.com/dp/B01CZNLTJA/ref=cm_sw_r_other_apa_ZoeZzbA4KEPP1
Hey, PROJECT ANUBIS! The new wire won't work with the camera or the mic, because both need a 3.5mm 3 pole connection, the two rings that is.
These are some in black. Maybe they help, except if you used the same ones in red:)
www.amazon.com/Seadream-3-Pole-Female-Headset-Extension/dp/B01DCBJ51I/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1506637639&sr=1-1&keywords=Right+angle+3+pole+3.5mm+male+to+3+pole+3.5mm+Female+Stereo+Audio
Hope that helps you out a little. Greetings!
TubeNoob I noticed my headphones to my s7 edge are 3 ring 4 pole, a 2 ring 3 pole should work without converting?
Thanks
The 3 pole will work with an eos m3, but not with the phone. The phone will need a 4 pole jack.
I know this is an older video, and you have probably moved on from the eos M videos. But i would really like to see how the remote shooting works via wifi on the M series cameras.
I think it's monumentally stupid, that none of the Eos M cameras works with usb tethered shooting from a computer or tablet, but if the wifi apps works ok for assuring you are in focus, making simple exposure adjustments etc. i guess i could live with it (I've got an offer for an Eos M3 for 250 euros, to upgrade from my current M1, which has NO remote monitor options, which is the only reason i want another camera)
I do DIY videos, restaurations, woodworking, electronics etc, not vlogs, but the things i work on are in front of the camera, so being able to frame, adjust, compose, and monitor shots from in front of the camera is very important.
Thank you for your video it help me a lot for the tricks
You're very welcome, daday blgl:)
