I was pulled over for a speeding ticket just a month ago, and yeah, what you said, I had all kinds of "Sirs"! The cop deserved them too, he was very professional.
KNOWING you are drinking, KNOWING you are underage. Dumb. I was pulled over with a girl in the car, I was 17? and she was 14. I was literally taking her home from a church youth group swim party. I didn't know it was a swim party, so I'm wearing her shorts, she had on swimsuit bottoms. The cops were NOT impressed, at all. The big one leaned in toiwards her and asked "How old are you?" She responds with 17, he leans closer and asks again "she says 16. It was going South quick, I laughed when he says in a deeper acusatory voice, "How olllldd?/" and she says 14. It was funny af. They still weren't impressed, especially since her shorts won't button on me. The wiry small one says, "How bout we call her Dad?" Made me laugh again. Moral of the story, Don't give girls a ride home wearing practically ZERO clothes, yourself. Thank God we weren't drinking, none of the kids at church didn't really drink till college, and my car was clean. Her brother pulled up behind us while the stop was going on, he was less than impressed by my attire than the cops.
What stood out to me was that despite the kids flipping them off, the officers treated them calmly, especially the officer driving their boat back. He was conversing with them as if they were peers and I think this made the kids feel guilty for being disrespectful. Had the officers been assholes and yelled and treated them badly, it would have reinforced the kids perception that all cops are dicks. Well played.
Agreed well played. And 100% Huge respect to the Police for handling the situation so well and giving those guys some good safety advice on the way back to the marina. And speaking to them as their own peers which would have helped get the message across. I can only imagine that a pontoon boat like those kids were on will handle with all the precision of a shopping cart and thats why those kids were told to keep both hands on the wheel and take a lot more care when going so close to the bridge supports.
For sure, the officers did not allow their little hurt feeling emotions got to them. They pursued the group collectively and more concern of the driver and his passenger's safety and not their own little but hurt feelings...lol.

Yeah, it was a sobering moment running into the cops while underage drinking. I never recieved a minor in possession, but a lot of my friends sure did.
Decades ago I was in the Coast Guard. A shipmate once told me a story about responding to a boating accident where 3 adults (2m, 1f) had been drinking while boating. The female fell overboard. Rather than shutting the outboard down and waiting for her to resurface, they started doing tight circles looking for her. They killed her by running her over multiple times. Including the prop running her over - including multiple skull strikes. Years later you could still see it preyed upon my shipmate's mind. DON'T DRINK & BOAT. EVER. If nothing else, think about the pain you could inflict on others by your choices.
That story is horrifying. I won't forget reading it. I'm 57 and see the young people nowadays act like they are the only people that matter to this world.

I personally have never been boating (water skiing) without of at least one case of beer on board. No beer would take half the fun out of the day.

Cops shouldn’t “mess” with anyone. They’re employed by the taxpayer to fight crime. Not “mess” with anyone for any reason
As they say, "Play stupid games, win stupid prizes." Lol
@@Mo0kieno wonder I lost in squid game 😢
@@charkswitlazers You know what the commentor meant. Mess with as in come do their legal search and find out about the dumb illegal stuff going on. You know that but you're just being pedantic so you can throw out that goofy "employed by the taxpayers" line. Of course they're public employees but if you want to nitpick the cops pay taxes too so technically they're also self-employed. Don't mess with the cops and they won't mess with you. Flip them off like that and they will definitely find ways to mess with you. As they should. In better times there's a chance one of the cops, after being flipped off, would come over and set you on your ass for being a little punk. More people, like that idiot on the boat, need a couple occurrences of being punched in the face in life to understand that men have lines that you don't need to cross.
@@charkswitlazersyeah z they were doing their job , which includes arresting underage people drunk driving. If you are smart don't commit crimes and certainly don't catch the attention of the cops when doing so
I'm over 50 and I still do the fake polite wave to every single boat cop I pass😂
"I'll tell you what. You bring attention to yourself we'll come figure it out" 😂
You know the rental place knows there employees are having a good time when the game warden brings the boat back 😅
😂😂😂
The stupidity of kids is astounding. Yet, they think they know it all. Great job by the cops.
Sensitive cops flexing ego. What is a good job about that?
Everyone has done something stupid as a kid. These comments would have you thinking all of you were perfect angels and never did anything dumb lol.
And the cops know it all?
What kind of advice is telling the youth to be "low key" when it comes to drinking? Per the law it is not allowed.
As if you were never young
@@miguelurdaci7884 Mehh.. as a boat owner, a parent of 18-21 year olds, and.. someone who yes, was 18 at one time, the cops were Very reasonable. The kids are Stupid but Yes, they're kids. Drinking and driving and flipping off cops. S.T.U.P.I.D.. I hope they learn.
Nothing kills a “flippin the cops off underage pontoon party” like an FWC inspection 😂
My son is 19 and the rule is simple, be respectful to whoever and whatever they are especially to authorities who you will surely run to when you are in a bad situation or when you get in trouble.
I think it’s hilarious they nailed him. There was absolutely no reason to be disrespectful! He got what he deserved.
Yes it was fun to watch.
Yes he did! The big shot got Exactly what he deserved.
@@scotty9462he thought it would impress girls. They like guys that were able to take them home.
Beyond disrespectful, it was begging to be arrested.
@blakephilbrook657 you mean they ruined their own lives by deciding to drink while under age but it’s funny how you’re blaming the police for doing their jobs, victim mentality and you need to drop it
Beer bong - 'Y'all use those for Capri suns?' - That cop killed me right there!
"It was that or purple stuff."
Cop: “Beer bongs huh?. Y’all use those for Capri Suns?” Kids: Silence…. 😅
Props to the cop giving them a ride back. good words.
Why were the pigs harassing them? The US supreme court has ruled that flipping off pigs is a constitutionally protected right!
he understands they just graduated and havingt a good time. you know- alot of cops were once just like them and understand, its the ones that got bullied and went into the academy for revenge is who you gotta watch out for
What was he supposed to do? Leave them or make them swim?
@@steveswangler6373my thought exactly.
It was just to humiliate them. Probably fueled by the finger gesture.
I appreciated that cop that drove the boat back to the dock. He was patient with those passengers, was real with them and told them whats up and to be smarter for their own good.
Well, would you want to have a boat drifting there?
Smart up. It could have been impounded idiot! @@annoyed707

because he most likely was just like them at that age
Yep, doing what he's paid to do, like anyone else.
The cop that sat behind the wheel of the boat they pulled over I thought was pretty chill. He even said if you’re going to drink underage be smart, as in have a drink at home. It’s still an illegal act to drink underage but he did his job while still grabbing their attention and keeping things calm. He did a great job.
It's not necessarily illegal to drink at home with your parents there, depends on the state. UNDER THE DIRECT CONTROL OF THE ADULT Parent.
Nah. He's got a lil pecka. Bigots need to leave people alone. It's not the governments job.
You can do a great job also by giving me your insta
Crazy I was just thinking about freedom boat club and wasn’t sure if there was one on Pensacola Beach! What an interesting commercial!
That one girl has a dump truck that you cant believe. These guys where vibing
Yummm
Chick in the red was 🔥
They knew what they were doing when choosing what pic to show for this video 😂
Well being they're all under 21 I wasn't looking u pedophile
Guess I’ll be scrolling through this video then LOL
I grew up here. My dad did water patrol in that exact area for 20 years from the 80s into the 2000s and ive been told countless stories of people losing their lives or being seriously injured doing stupid stuff on boats around Pensacola Beach and the bay. To hear this kid try to justify his actions makes my blood boil. Forget the drinking, this dude put everyone's life at risk letting go of the helm under a bridge while taking the wake of a 30ft center console. Those pontoon boats rock like a roller coaster when they hit wake and they dont track straight. I see things havent changed at all compared to the kids i grew up with and went to school with there.
Friend of mine died because of a drunk boater in Okaloosa county
Can't stand drinkers anymore. Our neighbor killed a pregnant woman and he was given 10 years 10 years !! Drunk drivers are THE most selfish people on the planet
My entire reason for stopping in my tracks was @4:10 Thank you for your service officers and serving men of culture within this great nation!

Don't feel bad for them at all. Firstly, they brought unnecessary attention to themselves by blatantly flicking off the law, and secondly, they're underage and are carrying alcoholic beverages. Brought this upon themselves in my opinion
And if there was a accident, the innocent usually get hurt and worse .
A friend of mine is the under-sheriff of Mohave County in Arizona, where Lake Havasu is. He had told me the facts about water rules being far stricter than land rules years ago when he was a deputy sheriff and worked the lake, and the random safety inspections are the same in Mohave County, Arizona. Actually, the same in San Bernandino County, California, since both departments have an agreement allowing them to patrol all the way to each other's shore. Don't mess around on the water, for sure!
Respect for the conversation the officer had with the rest of the kids. Seems like a good man.
He's a sensitive little tyrant that ignores his oath to the constitution. Illegal search and seizure plain and simple. "Safety inspections" are a direct violation of the 4th amendment.
Right???
Awful butthurt about a finger
@@bongjovi4928cry harder. Obvious this one is entirely on them. Whether or not they should be drinking/driving he deserves to go to jail for being dumb enough to give a cop the finger while doing something illegal.
