South Korea’s impeached President Yoon Suk Yeol was detained in a massive law enforcement operation at the presidential compound, defiantly insisting the anti-corruption agency didn’t have the authority to investigate his actions but saying he complied to prevent violence. Yoon, the country’s first sitting president to be apprehended, has justified his declaration of martial law on Dec. 3 as a legitimate act of governance against an “anti-state” opposition employing its legislative majority to thwart his agenda. A while back he imposed martial law and attempted to block the legislation from voting to repeal it. After that he's been fired, and they are working to prosecute him for the attempted coup. The last attempt to arrest him failed as he had fortified his house but it seems they've broken though.

They need to start highlighting how corrupt those people are so they can at least elect the least corrupted presidents.

For the 1st attempt there were 120 officials to arrest, but they failed. The security guards and the military blocked the way.
This is the 2nd attempt, with 1200 police officers and 40 investigators.
