    Thanks so much! Now I know what to do when I go out to eat again! That was so informative, and entertaining! My old out of the house eating is now officially dead! Now I know just to have two appetizers at Beach Ale House movie theater for dinner for a calorie reduction.

    Great video! Very informative. Not the best thing to watch near the end of my fast. Now I want to go eat Mexican food....which is nearly non-existent here.

    For males, medium muscle build, how many calories should we be consuming per meal at a restaurant?

    • @sixpackshortcuts
      @sixpackshortcuts  5 лет назад +1

      That is going to depend on age, height, weight, and activity level. You will want to calculate your total daily calorie intake, depending on your goal (to maintain, gain, or lose). From there, you can divide your total daily calorie # by how many times per day you would like to eat (calories per day / # of meals). Restaurant food calories can add up quickly, so it's not recommended to make this a daily habit. You would want to be cautious.

    I love your great videos!! What an inspiration 🙂
    I have a question if I may:
    I'm on a three-day extended fast, which is my very first time to do so! Can I break my fast with (three tbsp of raw honey and four cloves of garlic with 24 raw almonds)?! This is very important to me!! Coz I've been doing this protocol everyday for the past two years now, and that did wonders for me!
    Of course, after one hour of doing so, I would go for my green salad with 4 boiled eggs + a small amount of whatever main course that's been cooked that day!! No fuss!! I eat anything as long as it is healthy 👍🏻

      We typically do not condone or support extended fasting. Now, you typically want to break a fast with something light, and include some protein in order to get your muscle protein synthesis back up and feed the body the essential amino acids its needed to enhance the recovery process.

    Hello, sir, thank you for the educational video. Have an unrelated question(hope you can answer it)
    Cold pressed drinks vs powder drinks, Example Athletic Greens vs Suja Organic Uber Greens Juice, which would be healthier for you and which could help you lose more weight. Are these drinks like meal supplements. I have a friend who swears by the Suja, he drinks one a day . Doesn't eat 6 hrs before bed, lost 37 lbs over a period of time which to me is fine, as long as there is weight lose with some health benefit. He also stated he did not exercise at all or any other dieting ( hard to believe, but will give benefit of the doubt). I hope you can please find the time to give me your opinion on this matter. Thanks again great videos.

      Cold-pressed and powdered greens generally contain the same nutrients. The big difference between the two is sugar content and calories. Powdered greens are the winner here. It sounds as though your friend is practicing fasting, but it is difficult to determine without more information. Fasting can induce weight loss. Your awesome for replying
      Have you tried Athletic Greens, do you think it is good for weight loss too. I am recovery from cervical spine surgery and I cannot workout right now. Eating habits are poor
      I understand there is no miracle in a bottle but if I curb my eating and put in a little healthy ingredients into my body, I am hoping it can help me with my goals.
      Again thank you so much for replying .

      The product you mentioned is similar to our Green Detox, except that Green Detox does not contain the carbs/calories. Keep that in mind when trying to lose weight. You will want to account for all of your caloric intake. shop.sixpackabs.com/shop/product/green-detox-apple-pie

      From what I've heard, and tried myself, you can purchase a Southwest salad with vinaigrette dressing with grilled chicken and it's only like 450 calories and fills you up. I can confirm it fills you up. The 450 calories I saw on quora so I don't know how accurate that is. It was a pretty good salad.

    • @dab1732
      @dab1732 5 лет назад +1

      Also, a quick Google search can give you more information about the Southwest salad: "The Southwest Salad without chicken is only 140 calories, but the salad contains 320 calories if you add grilled chicken, and 430 calories if you add crispy chicken."
