Two Dragons hurts to listen too after playing up to LAD:IW Kiryu's victory over Shibusawa would be the 1st domino in a series of events that would see Kiryu lose everything trying to leave the shadow of the Dragon of Dojima
Deadly Struggle + Fleeting Dream needs to be talked about as one of the best pairings for a boss fight/final boss fight in any video game. And to think RGG only put 6 months of effort into this title to drop some of the hardest songs/themes in the series.
Nishiki, a man who lost it all, trying to work his way to the top Goda, a guy who wants to surpass Kiryu, seeing him as a rival Dayum Yakuza has some great bosses

Yakuza Games has come to the long way, Especially the Journey of Kiryu from just goons to basically the 4th Chairman Of Tojo Clan to an Agent Of Daidoji and then to The Man Who Finally Regained His Name 🙂 That also the same for Majima's Journey who's basically a Cabaret Manager Club to The Mad Dog who always support Kiryu and it applies To Saejima as well from Fighting Kiryu to becoming Friends with him and forming an Oath basically along with Majima to Protect Daigo I believe Tanimura, Akiyama and Shinada already got their own closure as well, through Akiyama last seen was basically in Infinite Wealth where he finally Meet Kiryu again and still supports him as one of his Comrade/Friend And Ichiban's Journey still continues even until now, The Koi Dragon that he is ✨ The Dragon, The Hannya, The Tiger, The Acala, The Phoenix, The Turtle, The Wyvern, are up taking breaks while The Koi Dragon and his friends gets the Passing Torch treatment and basically The Successors of them 😌🔥
imagine being such a sick final boss that you get a dedicated theme for the cutscene just before your battle and two different boss themes this is why shishido is the goat (afaik the only boss to receive this kind of treatment, not even ebina's close to being the best final boss in the series)
Out of the final bosses of Yakuza 5, I feel like Saejima fighting Majima is the most epic, story wise. Now, out of epic fights, Kiryu’s was way cooler, but if we’re talking about circumstances surrounding the fight, Saejima’s is just better. You have two sworn brothers who haven’t seen each other in years, and then when they finally meet, they are told to fight each other to the death or else their (basically) 15 year old niece will die. Of course, jokes on the mastermind, they were ALREADY going to fight each other, because it’s what they like to do, so if they are going to fight, they might as well go all out. Also, I don’t know if it’s just my taste in music, but Receive and Slash You just sounds way better then the other final themes in 5.
@@jadenchacha4871 you’re 100% right, but the fact that neither he or tanimura got any form of recognition besides a little remembrance thing for Kiryu’s bucket list is pretty wack. I understand them not going up the tower because it was supposed to be the Tojo 4 and whatever, but they could of had some screen time since infinite wealth had like every other main character/side character come back

For Faith is still the best OST in all of Yakuza for me, especially Tanimura’s version. Shit makes Yakuza’s 4 crazy ass plot and final battle worth it lmao
I agree so much, this and Two Dragons are my favorite. I really like how 4 sets itself apart in the finale, with no gauntlet and you get to fight the bosses straight up
