@@Aaa-pz6nh now that's a different story. It depends if you're talking about a 16 voice Rev2 or the 8 voice. The deciding factor to me was what other synths I already owned. The Summit sounds amazing, but it kind of falls "in-between" a few synths that I already own, so it didn't do anything unique. But the build quality and sound of the Summit is terrific.
Some of the best sounds I've ever heard on the Rev 2.....just saw there is a techno set to...going to listen to that now. When I get some more money probably getting these. These are definitely more versatile than being used for only Trance. Great job
@@KulshanStudios good to hear. My only complaint about the Rev 2 is the presets available just aren't that useable. Luckily there are 4 user banks. I have one filled with a synthwave soundset I bought but I was hoping for something darker too.
@@ryanperrault8174 yeah, as far as we know the factory patches are all 80s oriented, which isn't our *primary* focus, so we wiped all the user banks and got started making fresh sounds. We have plans for more genres - darker genres included - for banks for later this year. Our techno bank might have sounds sufficiently dark for you right now. A psytrance artist we know is using some of our sounds for a remix he's doing, and it's no bubblegum pop, that's for sure

I love 80's music but a lot of the sounds have too much going on...I like to start simple and build up what I need.....I have one Synthwave bank, I'll have one darker one, one with probably mostly my own patches and then probably the trance one you made. @@ryanperrault8174 our mission is simplicity and universality! And sadly, we do not have a Peak/Summit... Yet It's on our agenda, but it's a bit pricey right now, so we're focusing on expanding our products for our existing synth collection, and then acquiring more gear later

@@BurkhardusX no, there are no included arps or sequences. If you want to recreate the exact same patterns using these sounds to use in your songs, you would risk copyright infringement and litigation from labels. We just make the sounds. It's up to the users to write their own music with them.
@@KulshanStudios I see. But you could alter the pattern in one little aspect or create alternative patterns. So, I understand no patterns in the ARP. In the Access Virus, for example, many patches have ARP patterns included.
@@BurkhardusX we may eventually start selling 3rd party MIDI packs with arps and sequences and such. And maybe someday we'll sell full Arp/Sequence banks for our synths capable of them. But right now arps and sequences are a lower priority than making useful patches that artists can drop right onto their MIDI sequences and start recording with
Icefall goes direct to U1 bank if you're using MIDI OX or similar If you use the Soundtower Editor to transfer patches you can pick and choose on a per-patch basis and set custom locations (we consulted with them)
Just so you know, we did a recent bank mod for this so that our Rev2 banks can be loaded into any U bank now (we created special duplicates for all our Rev2 soundsets), so now you can freely migrate and reorganize your user banks from us without losing anything!
It's the most organic trance sound of any synth, thanks for the great pack, I would buy the REV2 if I bought it.

Are the patterns that we hear in this demo associated with the patches within the ARP or SEQ?
The patterns are all based on riffs from existing songs. The MIDIs were sourced from nonstop2k or from the artist's own catalogue

??? No EQ was used on any of these sounds. Just reverb and delay from a Virus TI2, on some sounds
