- The EFF has vowed to shake things up at Orania - the whites only enclave in the Northern Cape, should the party emerge victorious after the local government elections. EFF says the status quo at Orania which falls under the Thembelihle Municipality will definitely change.
Residents of Orania currently receive no services from the local municipality. This was agreed upon in 2000 through a legal framework known as share block under South African law.

They don't belong in Europe, most of them have never been there, and neither have their parents. They are an African people, they speak the only language in the world named after a continent. The SA government recognizes 'tribal leaders' like the Zulu king, who gets a massive amount of tax payers' money for being king, and in places "tribal law" is recognized. So I think the SA government should at the very least let Orania be, if not support them for their attempts to preserve their culture. Oh, and these people are not as "white" as some people make them out to be (or even as some of them wish they were..). All of them have some "black" ancestry. European settlers to Africa 300 years ago were not wholesome families but mostly men desperate to get their hands on whatever females were on land.

No one can interfere in anyway what so ever as the town is on private property.
The only way Orania cannot be interfered with is if they make interference more costly than non-interference, perhaps catastrophically more costly. And that can only be done by force of arms. I'm pretty sure the Oranians know that too.

Orania is not a "Whites-only" enclave. It is an Afrikaner community. Just as Mnyameni is a Xhosa community, and not a "Blacks-only" community. Orania is not about race; it is about culture. Such communities are allowed to have their own turf, conforming to articles 185 and 235 of the South African Constitution.
With this announcement the EFF disregards the constitutional right to geographical organisation of communities.

No. The Oranians are doing it right by building slowly and methodically, not allowing greed and the propensity for "shortcuts" to override their better judgment. Not all white Afrikaaners are worthy of joining their society - it's as they said, being an Afrikaaner isn't just about being white. In the same way, being Japanese isn't about being Asian, and being American isn't about being multiracial or whatever. It's about culture. Being Afrikaaner may necessitate being white ofc, but being white is not enough, not even close - especially if you are one of those shoe-licking whites who demean Afrikaaner history. The Oranians rightly take greater pains to ensure that their cultural heritage isn't watered-down by immigrants. I really wish America were so well-run, but in my own defense, America and its people were always incredibly prosperous and became the victim of foreigners and looters who saw us ripe for pillage. The Oranians will also feel more pressure and eventually be under seige once they come closer to America's level of prosperity - their cultural and racial affinity will be put to the test. I have no doubt it will be strained, and possibly buckle, just as America has suffered through it under pressure from the British, to the SOviets, to teh Japanese to the Paraguayans. But for what it's worth, I wish the Oranians well in hopes they too will not break.
