Hi, just starting to watch your videos. I bought the EM 1010 and just got it set up. Haven't embroidered anything yet,I'm going through the recommended videos first. Thanks for sharing how to embroider hats. I'll keep watching to learn as you learn. I have 2 single needle embroidery machines so it's not that new to me, but a ten needle can be intimidating...😆
Quick note on putting together designs for hats. I'm sure you heard it by now but just in case - hats should stitch center out and bottom up. For this file Junior - it should stitch either I O R N U J or N U J I O R - And structured or not structured.. you really should use stabilzer for every project. :) Thank you for being here to help EM1010 users.
Thank You for your helpful insights, this project was simply a demo, a sample if you will. Structured hats do not need stabilization since the construction of the hat already has build In stabilization, so this means that additional stabilization on a structured hat would allow room for continuous needle breaks, I’ve tested out this theory and it checked out to be true. Thank You for Watching :)
Hello beautiful nice to catch another video. Thanks for taking the time to teach us. I'm waiting on my ricoma to get fixed as well. Where do you subscribers send you stuff how do we buy you coffee. Looking forward to the next video

Love the hat. Quick tip, increase the density and the foam will come off a lot easier. Also cap off the ends of your letters. If I can help with anything else let me know how to get a hold of you.
Awesome! I just got my em-1010 and have only done a couple hats. Have you found that the machine rubs on the bill of the hat and leaves a mark? Is there a way to avoid that?

I have an EM 1010 as well. What type and size of needle do you find works best. I seem to have needle breaks like everyone other hat. Do you have this problem?
I use the 75/11 for my hats, and I do not use backing for my hats. Needle breaks occur for many reasons, tension is the most common, and the digitized image is another..

For better embroidery here’s what you should do. Step one- get rid of the Ricoma and buy another brand like brother. Barudan or tajima would be the best brands but are almost twice the price. Step two- get a better digitizer. Make sure it is specifically digitized for puff with the correct densities. The density should be much higher and thus why you need a better machine to handle the higher stitch density. Digitizing is very important and it looks like the digitizing was not correct.
This is an excellent video. I learned a lot. thank you

So Happy for you!! Welcome to the Ricoma family! A Ten needle can be intimidating, however, the more you practice, the better you'll get!

Not that I know of
@GamersBOD thanks!!! I don’t remember where but someone else had suggested that as well. But thank you! Maybe it’ll help someone else as well!

It came out nice but can’t you import that puffy font into your library? I am still learning the software as well
Yes, it can be imported.. I have it in my Embrilliance software.
Here I show how I merge each letter from my usb library.. hope that helps..
@@heavenandlimes okay I thought once you imported them in it would be in your font library 😩 see I have a lot to learn this software
@@fasloan once you download your file onto your computer, it should automatically import it into your Embrilliance software, you are not wrong
When you finish, you shod use a heat gun, for better way is use a double foam
