I had no idea these trucks can make it that far! I just love the overall package for the money, yes, there are nicer interiors etc., but I want something reliable and one that looks great
I have owned my 2021 Pro4x for a little over a year now, and I still love it! It is everything I wanted it to be when i bought it. I had always been a GM owner until this, and I am so glad I shopped around. It's a shame these trucks are so overlooked. I would not hesitate to purchase this truck again!
@@kenna.9368 So far, I have had no transmission issues. Other than some occasional clunky shifts when it was brand new (that have since smoothed out with 11k miles) that was a big concern of mine as well. The 5 year / 100k mile warranty was peace of mind in that regard. With that being said, there is currently a recall ( Recall no. 22V457000) regarding the parking pawl potentially not engaging, to which there is no fix as of yet. I have not experienced such a thing, but it's definitely a good practice to engage the parking brake just in case. To my knowledge the last big refresh was the first use of the 9-speed Jatco. I must say it is incredibly smooth on the highway, with shifts that are barely noticeable. My big test was tow / haul going up the local mountain with a 7,000 pound camp trailer. I must say it hauled as well, and possibly better, than my 06' 2500 Silverado. Really the only downgrade from that truck is the smaller bed and less payload capacity. I feel the Titan has been an upgrade for me in every way. Hope that helps!
@@curtissmith5924 wow man! Congratulations on that rig, and thank you for sharing. I’ll try to do a bit more research to see what I can find. The one thing that has me interested in the Titan is unlike all the big 3, Titans don’t have all that ridiculous turbo crap. Just a straight naturally Aspirated v8 engine. No gimmicks! See I’m not concerned about payload and towing capacity as I don’t tow. I just need a good old solid truck for family use and loading things when necessary.
@@kenna.9368 I am right there with you, that was a selling point for me as well. I didn't want cylinder deactivation or pricey turbos to worry about. It really is one of the few trucks left with a no-nonsense V8 in it, plus the VK56 engine family has been around for 20 years now. Also worth mentioning, with my normal driving routine I average about 16-17 mpgs in town and have even seen 24 highway. As far as the interior goes, my particular Pro4X is fully loaded, and I love it. My only complaint with it is the heated seats. They seem to be based on a fan that warms the seats as opposed to the normal heating grid in most cars. They do heat, but it takes awhile. Also as far as ownership issues, the only problem I have had is with a leaking door seal on the passenger side. I took it to the dealer and after an adjustment they seem to have solved that, at no cost to me. Hopefully it will serve me well for years to come!
@@curtissmith5924 i hope it will serve you well! Last question, there have been reports that the backup camera on the previous year model was very blurry and needed a serious update? How’s the quality/clarity on your backup cam?
I have a 21 pro4x. I really love it. I got it in Dec.21 so I have had it for a little over a year now. The 4x4 with rear lockers really helps it crawl over pretty much anything.
I have a 2013 Frontier Pro-4X and had a 2020 Titan XD Platinum Reserve- and that was only because they had no Pro-4X available at the time. It was a GREAT truck, and I loved it. It's only weakness was its tongue-weight and cargo capacity didn't really compare to HD trucks from the competition. But, it suited my needs and the price and 5 year, 100k mile warranty clearly separated it from the pack. Sadly, I had to part with it because I needed more cargo capacity to haul a gigantic truck-camper, and it just didn't have that. But I would definitely buy another one.
Nice review. Nice seeing what non-truck ppl say about it. I like that these truck from 04 on up rode smooth yet with a good heavy load or a trailer are still very stable vs other brands seem to be either-or
So fkn mad. Finally have the money to get one and you can't buy a new one in Canada. They're gone! No more V8. Nissan could've capitalized on that. I would've bought a titan for that reason
2011 440,000 trouble free miles still running strong
Best truck I've ever owned and I had them all.

@@bcw686my work truck is a first gen titan also. 288k miles. Doesn't burn or leak enough of anything to add between service intervals.
Love my 21 Pro4x. No cylinder deactivation, no engine shut off at lights. The Pro rocks off road.

Any known issues with the transmissions on these truck. How reliable do you find it? Seriously considering…

Very underrated truck
The Titan is a great truck that checks every box very well. It’s not a pimp wagon.
Just got my first truck a month ago - 2014 frontier v6…. I love it so much, and nowwww I want this bad boy 😂
Amazing vid, love your energy

I have a 2019 Titan Pro4x. The V8 engine is a beast. Titan is king.

Nissan Rocks!!! :D
Do the rain sensing wipers get in the way while going through an automatic car wash??
This truck 🛻 is so underrated, had a fully loaded one as a rental from Turo, and it was amazing!

Please please Nissan don't kill the titan this a good truck this truck underated it needs another chance.
Great Review
But did they fix that outdated poor 1970 camera resolution for the rear view camera system?
Looks great thinking of getting one thanks
Want this as an XD sv trim.
How is the turning radius?
Horrible, granite I have an 18 but that was only complaint about the truck.
@@nicetobeme8764 thanks 👍🏼
Actually better than my Ram Longhorn.
Not bad
I like the XD as well.
Great video! As well 😂 😉
Haha appreciate it! 😁

7.3 seconds? No one drag races a full-size, crew cab truck. You must not be a true pickup guy.
cant buy these in the great white north .
This is a sick Titan..love the new one.
This guy drives a souped-up turbo hatchback car, not a truck.

Hey where did my comment go ?
It’s just over priced
Good review, but...(constructive criticism) ...'as well, as well, as well' You say that waaaaay too much!
I know I'm with ya there. 😆 need to start editing out that redundancy
Lol we all do it. I catch myself saying “ you know…”way too much. So you’re not alone.
Ya direct injection will choke this engine off at about 60,000 miles , ya no thanks
They are all direct inject now genius. Toyota 5.y has both. But that’s pretty much it.
