If I have one comment to make it would be to keep the drag lever off 10 and put it between 4 and 5. If you want to see your drag factor, on the pm 5 press more options, display drag factor and then row until you see the number. 120 to 130 drag factor is probably the best. Every C2 can be different depending on clean or dirty flywheel and altitude. I row on 6.5 to achieve 130 drag factor. I can’t stress enough to not row with the lever anywhere near 10. This is one of the biggest ways to get hurt. Use RowAlong Videos on RUclips and John will teach you everything you need to know about drag, and proper form. Also, if you are not using the C2 logbook online I would suggest using it. It will keep track of everything that you do and upload to the C2 website so that you can compare your progress with others which is a lot of fun. I use RowAlong videos 6 days a week and look forward to my morning row every day. Hopefully you will find rowing fun and something you look forward to when you get up in the morning.

Thank you so much for all the great and helpful info. I can not row below 10 because there is not enough resistance and my knees snap into hyper extension. Even at 10 my legs do not feel much for resistance. they do get fatigued but that is as much to do with me pulling myself back to the front position. I will play with the display tonight and see where I am as far as drag factor. Thank you again. Have a awesome day.

Just a little bit more! Just a little farther. That is what makes champions.

I couldn’t go 5 minutes when I first started, now I am rowing up to an hour at a time. I usually do 10 min intervals, 3-4 at a time. I shoot for 2,200 meters for 10 min timeframe. You are an inspiration!!

Ya it is a challenge to get going that is for sure. I definitely have to pace myself that is for sure. I just need to sit down and then since I am there I might as well make it worthwhile. Thank you so much for watching and sharing your support. I hope I can inspire more. Have a great day.

Thank you sir! I hope to get into more functional mobility by the first of the year. Still got a lot of weight to get off and a ton of knee and back work to do.

Love the commitment man! I started rowing like 2 3 years ago and couldn’t do shiiii because I was cubby and undisciplined. But now I am I a position where I try to gain weight to do better in competitions. This machine or more like this sport has made my life better and I hope it does the same for you!!
I would give you Tipps but I sadly can’t really relate to your movements on the machine because of your size. Keep going or I’ll come for you!!!!

One tip from holland move the lever on the right side to a 3.5 to get a better performance and less insuries for your back.
    10 is only for print.
Last tip search on youtube on Row a long
    Keep up the good work

Lowering the footplate would help you get in a more forward position. (less thughing on the straps, more gravity doing the rolling forward for you.

What! I can move the foot rest \ platform. I gotta go do that rite now. That would probably help a fair bit. I didn't realize I could lower it. Thank you so much for sharing and your support!
