Great video and thank you. A special to those pilots from Newfoundland. They sure made difference down in Shelbourne County. A special thanks to all our firefighters, first responders, ground search and rescue teams and volunteers. Looking forward to your next video. Cheers
Thanks for the extended 747 footage, never tire of seeing Atlas or Kalitta! I live in NS, didn’t realize this much traffic existed at YHZ. I think I’ll take a trip down there this weekend. Great footage, thanks.
Nice spotting! Two 747 lobster haulers, both flights to Frankfurt, the water bombers helping fight a forest fire, the Porter E2 (what an ugly bird), Lynx, Swoop, and Flair LCC flights, and more. The only thing missing would be Ted and Debbie's Sable Island run - but maybe they weren't flying that day.
Also, that area overlooking the cargo pad, I discovered that one day by accident and I was treated to seeing a Korean Air Cargo 777 come in and I felt like a kid on Christmas 😂
That first plane coming in needs its compressor blades checked. It sounded like a piston engine machine until the reversers kicked in. I keed. Those 747 shots were awesome! Especially that first one coming in. It looked like he had an issue toward the last seconds over the threshold. Almost like a small windshear event. Those waterbombers were cool to see. And I love me some 757's. That last one was having none of that wet runway raining 'n clouds. As soon as he was nominal that jet was off the ground and out of there, and probably above the weather faster than I could type this sentence. Good stuff, Alex! Thanks for stickin' through the rain!
Thank you very much for this Planespotting, especially the "Special Ones" like the CL-215 Tanker, the EVAS Air Beechcraft 1900, the 767-300 (D-ABUF) from Condor - and not to forget: the ATR 42-600 from Air Saint-Pierre (and yes, Saint-Pierre et Miquelon has an own Airline!😃)!👍 It seems to be that you got a little bit into the Rain...☂
Awesome footage and so much thanks for showing the whole plane. So many spotting channels nowadays are zooming in on just the nose for some reason. Don’t change a thing!
Love seeing spotting at my home airport! Also, I noticed how annoying the constant cars are in this video, it’s a problem for me too! It feels like every time a plane is about to land or take off, 10 cars come by 😂
Nice video! I've live down in NS, and have family who works at the westjet hangar there, which should provide a perfect view of a Kalitta air, but we've never seen one. Only atlases, skylease cargo, and asl airlines. Hopefully it will come back soon! 😊
Looks like I was at YHZ to catch Eurowings and Kalitta the same time you were there too. I probably walked right by you on my way back to my car and had no idea you were there recording video.
That E195-E2 looks like a modernized and miniaturized version of the old DC-8! I read recently that those old 737-200 combi's that you did a report on awhile ago are getting retired.
I had the same thought. My two most un-favorite aircraft to be a passenger in are the Dash 8 (buzz-buzz) and the 737 Max. But that seems to make up a majority of the passenger air traffic at YHZ these days unfortunately. Great to see the Kalitta Air 747 drying off the runway on takeoff.
I had to look up YXT, who the heck is flying a charter between Terrace and YHZ?! Also, unrelated but what rumours have you heard about new routes in/out of YLW? Love the channel!
Quite a few charters between Terrace and Halifax. They're carrying some of the workers from many parts of Canada working on the big natural gas pipeline across British Columbia and the port facilites at Kitimat, B.C. (near Terrace) where the gas will be liquified and loaded on ships to Asia. I think the workers work something like 2 weeks on/2 weeks off so they're flown back and forth on these charters every few weeks. Similar flights between Terrace and other points in Canada related to this multi billion $$ project.
What was the date of this footage? You say "earlier this month" so assumed it was early July, but when I check FlightAware going back to July 1, the aircraft you show don't appear at YHZ on the flights you indicate. So what does "this month" refer to? Would be good if you could include the actual date in your video descriptions. Thanks.
It's not uncommon for US military aircraft to transit through Halifax. However, I believe they were bringing wildfire crews and equipment to help with the fires.
Great video and thank you.

Two water tankers from Newfoundland there in the back ground!

What the fuck did you just say about the E2? I'm gonna fight you
A beautiful Bird!🙂
Great job Alex for recording in the rain. The rainy 747 takeoffs were stellar!

18:46 I went to flight school in Moncton and it was always a joy watching this particular 757 come in as it'd usually taxi right by the flight school
CYHZ has a wide variety of airframes in/out. Impressive.
Indeed.
The 757 hum is nice. Great you could see the other wet coast. Water bombers do essential work, thanks for the fire fighter coverage.
The 757s are going like Rockets!

What a beauty Porter's E195 E2. It's a mini-757!!! 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊

Great video
Great stuff!
Looking very nice. Thank you for sharing.

Great video, I can still remember back in the day we had a NWA 757 flying from Halifax to Amsterdam
I love the sound of the MAX 8 engines!
Omg next time you’re here let me know! It’s a special treat for me to do some spotting there! Loving this video!!
That cargojet near the end took off like a rocket
Yes - all 757 do so.
Awesome compilation, Alex! Thanks so very much for this video. Great camera work too!
Awesome footage and so much thanks for showing the whole plane. So many spotting channels nowadays are zooming in on just the nose for some reason. Don’t change a thing!
Really beautiful shots of different aircraft. Thank you.

Another great video from the best content creator. Thanks Alex for another awesome and high quality video!
Those 757 take off like a rocket
Yes, all of them do so.
7:01 ❤❤
747💙
Nice capturing 😍
Awesome video! Love the mix of different airplanes! ✈️
An incredible compilation, Alex. Amazing footage!
I love your videos man, truly thankful for you to make these videos
Thanks for the great spotting footage! I just flew back from YHZ but spotting was not possible due to intense fog, but you got me covered!
love the video alex!! keep up the good work!
Hey alex i really encourage you to try a seaplane tour with harbour air based in vancouver i can almost guarantee you that you'll love it!😁
Love the NS content! You came at the absolute worst time for weather, we had a stretch with only rain for almost 2 weeks
Nice video! I've live down in NS, and have family who works at the westjet hangar there, which should provide a perfect view of a Kalitta air, but we've never seen one. Only atlases, skylease cargo, and asl airlines. Hopefully it will come back soon! 😊
Nice spotting compilation.
Quite amazing to think that Kalitta Air operates both the youngest and oldest 747-400 in the world right now :D.
And that it operates it from Halifax!🙂
Love your content Alex!

Nice videos of the planes
Man some of those flights would be brutal….. 737 from YVR to YHZ, or a smash 8 from YHZ to YOW barf

Very Nice 👍😊
Was just at YHZ a few days ago. Super foggy.
Yeah it was raining for a couple weeks over here
@@dagoose. yeah we flew into Halifax and drove around NS NB and PEI for a week
The CL215T is THICC in the tail.
Canadian North Terrace to St. Johns? What is that about?

That’s where I live!
8:00 That Flair 737-8 one engine reverse thrust is REALLY weird, Anyone know why?
Why is only the left on?
Alex do you know the date of the EVAS landing from YDF?
good videi
Second aircraft engines in the video has same diameter as the fuselage
The 2 waterbombers from Newfoundland were working on a fire just outside of Shelburne
so we are not gonna talk about the tree kc-135 in the back?
It's not uncommon for US military aircraft to transit through Halifax. However, I believe they were bringing wildfire crews and equipment to help with the fires.
What is the type of 747 freight that goes from Halifax to Anchorage and beyond?
Lobster mostly
Lot of lobsters heading on those flights to Anchorage then on to Asia.
Does the hangar back there still say Canjet??
The waterbomber - Isnt that a CL-415 with the pratt and witney pt-6´s ? Beleive the 215´s are all with radial engines ?

Terrace (YXT) can fly direct to Halifax on Canadian North‽
never been first lol, pin maybe? never got one...
Why is there an unexpected amount of Germans visiting Halifax? Otherwise, awesome video
All parts of Canada are very popular destinations for German tourists.
