It looks clean and like it's really well cared for. I love it when you guys cover other parks and places that the mainstream doesn't give enough awareness to.
I have to disagree with Sledgehammer review! I rode it the other day, with 3 other family members. We hands down all agreed it was our favorite ride we'd been on!! We did all of them
Hey, y'all planning a trip to Europa anytime soon? Of course, I'd really love to see your take on some European classics like Europa Park or Phantasialand, but I'm especially intrigued to see an Australian's take on Movie Park Germany, and how it compares to Movie World on the gold coast. I'm sure that would be an incredibly interesting video for your Australian viewers as well. It's almost like a real life alternate history video, one park that turned into two very different things, yet still has so many similarities.
If Luna Park fully committed to a bold 1930s aesthetic and invested in a unified look and feel across the park, it would really elevate the whole experience. Good to see there's more to do now, but it's still a real mish mash of an experience. As always, love your professional, polished content!

Would love to visit Luna Park. Thanks for the video. ❤
The parts that you wonder how they pass modern health and safety codes could be a case of them just being grandfathered in, assuming they don't actually pass them in the first place.
I’ve been waiting on this review ever since hearing that Luna Park was shutting down for refurbishment last year. I went with friends in January, and it really did feel like the smaller and more local version of a “real” theme park like Disneyland or Movie World or even Wonderland. Not fantastic, but not terrible, and at least Sydney has something.
I went here in between the Big Dippers being open. It’s a great park for its view of one of my favorite cities in the world, and I love some of the older rides.
It makes a lot of sense to make rides that are aimed at young kids able to carry adults as well, because I know when I was a little kid I wouldn't want to ride without a parent with me.
Great review. I always look forward for your guys opinions on parks. I know you mentioned in the review that big Dipper is down a lot. Is there anyway of knowing if it's going to be down for the day by looking it anywhere on the net? I'm wanting to come up for the day from Melbourne don't want to waste my money by finding as I get there that it's down for maintenance!
Hey Tallis, they do have ride closures on their website but that’s only if it’s a known or planned closure. It is rarely down for the whole day though if it isn’t advertised as such on the website. Hope you enjoy, it’s a great ride!
I am 9 and I was yellow so I can go on crazy rides I went on hair raiser Tongo train and Big Dipper I went on the wild tongo train I forced my father to go on crazy rides lol
the tango train was so painful although it was very fun, i reccomend like a tigher seatbelt as my friend was squishing the hell out of me and now my arm hurts because i was squashed against the side of the seat cuz it was moving too fast, anyways luna park is veryy fun and reccomend you should go
Fantastic review. As corny (& small) as it looks, this video definitely makes me excited to visit Luna Park at some point. That classic feel is amazingly nostalgic.
Thanks for sharing, I missed seeing your videos pop up! I used to work at Luna Park and really enjoyed the location and atmosphere. It's nice to know that the rides for little ones have expanded to accommodate the whole family, as that was often a sticking point with frustrated parents or siblings who wanted to join in during my time there. Would love to visit again and see the new attractions!
If I ever visit that park, I need to try the rotor, the woman operator (you hear her in some youtube videos), has such an engaging, reassuring and playful demeanor, she just takes distracts everyone and wants everyone to participate in the little games while the ride is going on: that takers the initial fear out of the kids (and out of me because I've never dared to set foot into these things before). i hope she'll still be there. In traveling versions of this attraction, there's often just music and as a kid, I've always been both facinated and appalled by that particular ride.
I went to Luna Park on Boxing Day launch of the New "Big Dipper" (number 3) in 2021 and I can say I was one of the last people to ride it on launch day and also say I had my first few marathon rides on a roller coaster at the end of the night at the park. It was fun and and unexpected I was glade I made the last minute decision to go to Luna Park that day. However I am sad that the Sledge Hamer wasn't doing the 360 as it had been promising to do I was going to ride this type of ride once if it had been 360 as I'm more of a roller coaster girl and some flat rides now scare me I'll try to challenge my self but I know my limits. Also I am a former park employee ad have some friends still working there just haven't asked why the Sledge Hamer isn't doing the 360
Hey Claire, when they first reopened with their nine rides they did require everyone to have a ticket, but as of a few weeks ago the gates are now open for anyone to walk through the park with or without a ticket :) - Luke

Brilliant review. It's good to see such positive change in the park, mainly for its ride lineup.
I missed the reviews in the channel!
It has stood the test of time despite the ghost train fire in June, 1979.
I’m so happy Luna park finally got the makeover it deserved
I have to disagree with Sledgehammer review! I rode it the other day, with 3 other family members.
We hands down all agreed it was our favorite ride we'd been on!! We did all of them
Looks like a really nifty park that is staying relevant in such a competitive market. Great review!

Funny to think that your old review was 54/100, and look where it is now.

A lovely and well-considered review. Beautiful camera work, graphic design and editing, too. Well done team!

I’ve been on the Big Dipper in the middle back and front and uhm my vision was shaky on every seat so uhm yeah but still very good
You forgot to talk about Halloween horror nights at Luna Park

Can you do a review of Luna Park Melbourne
I am 9 and I was yellow so I can go on crazy rides I went on hair raiser Tongo train and Big Dipper I went on the wild tongo train I forced my father to go on crazy rides lol
Would you ever consider reviewing rainbow's end, New Zealand?
I second this as a fellow Kiwi. Might want to wait a little bit until the Cron peaks over here but then go right ahead.

Lina park is in a good spot but just a too small spot
Editing 8/10
Presenter 3/10
The one in Melbourne is even better...
Really great to be hearing you guys being able to do reviews again!
Would be great if you came to the UK and covered some of the parks here like Blackpool Pleasure Beach, Alton Towers and Blackgang Chine!
I remember when I was a kid I went there and I was to small for the ride but now I’m so happy I should be tall enough for all the rides!!
Just went on the weekend with the family. It was very good and great fun.
Thanks for this, it’s the first review I’ve seen of this iconic park.
Would you consider "old Luna Park" would be comparable to a Fun Spot
lets go

Um, RMC did this single rail concept in 2017, so it's not a worlds first.
It is the Worlds First LAUNCHED single rail. The RMC raptors have a chain lift and drop.
Do they have Magnets?

r.i.p haunted manor.
