- Surprises on motorbike trips to areas you don't know might scare some people, but I love the uncertainty. Today brought both good and bad surprises on the South Thailand motorbike tour Episode 3. Fortunately there was no rain today and I was off to my first stop. Temples appeal to me if they have interesting designs or architecture. The first place I stopped proved to have both. Of course it involved climbing stairs, yet again. After the short temple visit, I proceeded down the Thailand south coast on my Honda ADV 160 motorbike in search of food. Luckily, I found a wonderful beachside restaurant with excellent food and a million dollar view. Having stuffed myself, I again jumped back on my motorbike to continue exploring the South of Thailand. The next stop proved to be a disappointing surprise, but that's life! However, only 45 minutes later I stumbled upon a really cool suspension bridge and a pack of 30+ deer, just waiting to be fed. This surprise put a huge smile on my face, as I was NOT expecting to find this here at all. After feeding the deer, it was time to find a hotel and relax in the pool as it was still 37 degrees outside, and I was getting cooked. We are about 1/3 of the way through the tour, and so much more to come!

What a ride to tue South of Thailand....nice sea-side views and suspension bridge 🌉 with deers 🦌 around it....the hotel room looks decent enough even with Bht1,000 including breakfast is not too bad....weather is hot..takecare Serg...thanks for bringing us along this exciting journey 🎉😂

Thank you so very much! I definitely feel a lot better. And just like you, I was extremely surprised to see all the deer just hanging out there. I have two more episodes. I have already recorded from this trip, and will probably make two or three more before I am back in Bangkok.
Ohhhh you just missed one of Thailands nicest little cities, Mueang Prachuap Khiri Khan, and the beautiful Ao Manao beach. If you ever come through again you really need to check it out. And I’ll buy you a beer.

@CrapKerouac I sure was lethargic from the heat. lol. They’re obviously very used to people and they get fed all the time. So they just seem to be very nonchalant about people approaching. But it’s been ridiculously hot, so I’m sure that has something to do with it if you look closely, you can see a lot of them just panting away.
@CrapKerouac I made the very big mistake of being in Thailand 2 years ago in April....never again...hottest month of the year. The glue in my sneakers actually melted and became flip flops....it was crazy hot 🔥
@keithd1219 yah it’s crazy hot. Actually arrived in Thailand, April 4 two years ago, so I started living here in the hottest month. It was both a blessing and a curse.

i am so impressed with the quality of hotels in these smaller towns throughout thailand. i cant recall you staying at a shoddy dump of a place for the night in your vlogs when you are touring. meanwhile here in toronto god only knows the condition of road side motels and hotels haha
Trust me, there are definitely lots and lots of dumps. I am very selective of where I stay. While I don’t need anything fancy, I look for clean, well taken care of properties that preferably have a pool. However, I know what you’re saying. The same thing in America, there’s a lot of shady road side motels everywhere.

Glad to hear you are feeling better. Food poisoning is not fun! Love your videos, full of surprises. I wonder how these deers got there. There are deers in Thailand, but they are found in the woods and national preserve forest like Khao Yao.
What looks like a small piece of land that they’re on, is actually part of a very large forest and wetlands. If you look at that place from Google maps, you will see what I’m talking about. It was such a treat to discover that place!

We are on a six months sabbatical traveling South East Asia and since Vietnam we love to explore with a scooter. If I would have had a RUclips channel I would make videos like you do. We are now on Koh Chang (already for 2 weeks now) and explored every part with the scooter. Your videos of Koh Chang showed me a part we missed, thanks for that 😁. How do you find the attractions when you are going on a road trip?
A lot of is just sheer luck and running into things and scouring the map. Right now it’s 10:45 at night, and I’m trying to figure out where to go tomorrow. I have zero on my itinerary at the moment. Lol.

Can’t tell if you are wearing shorts or pants in videos like this Serg. Mentioning because I thought I heard that showing your legs in temples and such is basically forbidden for the most part.
I see people going into temples and shorts all the time. However, I wear armored pants and jacket when I’m on the bike, so I just leave the pants on when I go inside the temple or any other exploring I do. It definitely makes it for a hotter, exploration, but it’s just easier than changing every single time into shorts.

Ask them more than 25 different course around the tracks for safety and driving skills and more than 1,500,000 km on nearly 250 different bikes around the world. ( Broken necks ) is still the worst … the helmet is constructed to stay close when driving 🙏Please
