- AEW has nearly 200 wrestlers, announcers, agents and other staff members signed to the company. And with that comes a few disgruntled employees who aren’t happy about their position but in the world of wrestling its usually wrestlers who aren’t happy about their booking or other backstage reasons. So today we’re gonna discuss a few of those cases in aew so like the video and join as we discuss AEW Wrestlers who are currently unhappy in the company such as Malakai Black from House of Black, former NWA Womens champion Kamille and Danhausen!

I don't get how AEW fumbled the ball so bad with Danhausen. The dude was so over before he signed with AEW. Now hes a decent wrestler but he got over with just his gimmick.

Hausen is a merchandise machine if booked right, he more of a character then a wrestler. He is someone who just needs small comedic segments in between the show to get over.
Imagine if he gets over with the causal fans so much that he gets used as a punching bag for Drew McIntyre to make beaten up Punk watch his best friend getting annaliated by Drew. Hausen is naturally funny Tony not booking him coz of his relationship with Punk is criminal.
Danhausen and R Truth would be a fun team
Imagine being Kamille and signing with AEW over NXT. AEW singing people so they don't work for anyone else while not using them.... AEW is now WWE from 2018.
To be fair, I'm more than sure that more than one wrestler is happy to not have to wrestle and traver every week and still get a pretty big check. Only those who genuinely care about their place on the card and their career are those who are unhappy.

I absolutely loved Black in NXT, uis promos and mind games in the ring made him really stand out! when he was moved to WWE, it felt like they didnt really know what to do with him. It seems like thats happening again with AEW. Hes really talented with a lot of creative ideas, i really want him to thrive.
Sucks what happened with Velveteen because he and Black had a great feud.

This is just my opinion based on what I hear as I don't watch AEW. But it seems like AEW has the same problem WWE had awhile back. (I say awhile because in recent years WWE has gotten better with using its talent.)An overcrowded locker room with nothing for the majority of them to do.
Yep AEW has way too much bloat they could, literally, get rid of 40% of their roster and barely anyone would notice. They're borderline doing one of the main things that tanked WCW i.e. having a massive roster where a ton of it wasn't being used yet got massive contracts too do nothing

I remember hearing why Kamille picked AEW over WWE but given how things are going, it sucks that she went there given she's not being used.
Why Malakai isn't being used is beyond me, he's talented, great character work. Even when House of Black were Trios Champs, they were barely on TV. It really feels like TK doesn't like him (along with a few others).
Given the size of the roster, I don't get why TK can't just let some people go or let people out of their contracts if they're not on TV.

Clearly you're not watching AEW, Malakai had a Cage match against Adam Copeland (Edge) in the last PPV for the TNT belt. HOB are now in the middle of a new feud, and he put an amazing performance just last Saturday.
In what world is Black now being used? He was on the last PPV, is on TV every single week, is about to compete for the Trios championship, and will probably be on the next PPV as well.
The territory days are long gone....unfortunately.
If AEW isn't planning on using Kamille,she might as well go over to either TNA or NXT,where she would richly benefit from matches with Jordynne Grace,Roxanne Perez,Shayna Batzler,and/or Lola Vice.

House Of Black could've been huge.. Black and King have great chemistry as a tag team while Buddy can work.. AEW is just trash
AEW has (and has had) some great talents that do supernatural themes really well, and they always get screwed cuz TK has a bug up his rear about supernatural themes.

If Black not wanting to put people over is true then I don't blame him. If Black is to be a star to be taken seriously, they need to stop having him lose a bunch of matches. If I didn't know Black from his time in WWE, I woudn't have cared for him AT ALL in AEW.

I just give up. I might watch one or two matches on AEW but rest the time it’s just background noise.

Also could have included Miro, Wardlow, Ricky Starks, Keith Lee... They are all seeing how Ethan Page, Pillman Jr. and Shawn Spears are being treated in NXT and are counting the days left on all their contracts.
I am not sure how much time Wardlow and Starks have still in their deals. But the other 2 are has follows: Miro signed in 2022 and his deal is to end by+- March 2026. Keith Lee signed also in 2022, i expect he has 2 years ahead still. About Black hes even less lucky, his deal ends in 2027(signed in 2021). I have some idea Andrade deal was to have lasted till 2026 but his way out apparently was due he had a exit clause...hopefully others have it too.
@@arturs2436 it'd be a shame if Black was still in AEW till 2027, I doubt he's gonna be used bust during that time, guarantee he'd be used better in WWE under HHH. He'd probably be involved with the Wyatt 6 or doing something Karrion Kross, or maybe something else. Guys been wasted by AEW after his feud with Cody pretty much and aside from his feud with Edge, he's largely just been another guy on the roster
Let's be honest, do you think Malakai Black, Keith Lee and Miro will be successful in WWE? Rusev is already replaced by Gunther who is better and serious version of him. Oba Femi is already in better physical shape and younger than Keith Lee who still has health issues, Karrion Kross and Wyatt 6 already have similar aesthetics like Malaikai Black. Karrion Kross himself when he is push he doesn't get reaction from fans and he is stuck in 50/50 booking.
I would say Wardlow, Ricky Starks and Hobbs has a better future in WWE coz they are young. Wardlow and Hobbs are pretty much better than Jade Cardgill in the ring (since Jade Cardgill works pretty decent now), once they get in NXT they will pick things up easily.
They only Ex-WWE person who can return to WWE and get the Cody and Punk reaction and launch right on top is Jon Moxley as Dean Ambrose.

Jade Cargil was consistently teased and hyped up by WWE. They marketed her as a big deal and let her debut at the Royale Rumble then the grandest stage of them all, Wrestlemania. AEW hasn’t done anything to hype Kamille up at all other than the stupid “wrestler is all elite” post they do with all their signings and has just let her stagnate in the locker room

I’m a fan of wrestling too but Tony Khan should definitely get a solid writing team in place for long term story telling and what the hell happened to the tag division they have solid teams with the bucks, the acclaimed, penta and phoenix, FTR, house of black, the BCC, the gates of agony, the guns, White and Robinson could team up. What happened to being the alternative ????? It’s nice u can have great matches all the time but where’s the story !!! Some people have storylines which I appreciate and why do we have 2 women’s titles ?? I think it’s extremely premature to say any of these people are happy. None of them have came out and no report that came out to say that they are unhappy just because you’re off TV for whatever reason doesn’t mean you’re happy or under contract and they still are getting paid if I make the kind of money, they probably make a weeklyor semiweekly basis just to stay home I’d be happy even though my pride would be killing the hell out of me
