can confirm the Kona Shonky is phenomenal. love everything about the bike (own the one that was pictured). feels great, looks beautiful, takes a beating.
I am getting a Propain Trickshot because the frame looks dope, the fork is used by pro slope style riders, and basically all the components are the same as the ones Emil Johansson is using (he's sponsored by six pack and designed most of the DJ parts)
canyon "STICHED" and now the price is $999. im thinking going that route, since the YT dirt love is out of stock for who knows how long. another i've decided any bike they throw a Pike on is gonna be a good ride. that puts ya into the $1300-1700 price range tho. the marzocchi is a good runner-up. i'm still shopping. but i do intend to score one of these. i imagine if testimony from like Everyone is true, getting comfortable with a DJ will improve trail bike riding, and bike park enduro riding as well. BTW, i have Propain mtb bikes, both the Hugene and the TYEE. and those are insanely good bikes that nobody has ever heard of. i get a ton of complements on my Propains. those trickshots are out of stock, too :(

I haven’t ridden a few of these faction and Alcatraz are awesome would love though to try that propain it looks sick and have heard nothing but good things about it
steel is not a LOT heavier than aluminium.... it is heavier yes but not a lot. most frames are just 200gram heavier. but way more long lasting and abuseable. so U choose
The kona is a total rip off, manitou fork for 1600€ for that money I can buy a YT dirt love with better components all around and a rockshox pike or a propain trickshpt

I've owned a Labobma "pro" and now own a Cannondale Dave. Ppl say they are the same.. in fact they are far different. But it looks super sick , so that's all that really matters 😂

Bought the Absolut this week. It's a fun bike. Really stiff and light.
x fusion fork on polygon is actually very good. its an air fork so you can tune it a bit and it is very durable imo
Thanks for the feedback, I thought it was a decent fork, but compared to the other forks on the other bikes it is not as high end.
I’m about to buy the Propain do you know what size would be best for someone using it at the pump track/ doing tricks at around 5’8”

Thinking about buying it with the rigid forks and switching it out with the marzocchi bomber forks. Then maybe rebuilding the rear over time.
