I have been riding for 45 years and was getting a little stale with it all until i test rode one of these bikes 3 weeks ago and bought it the same day. I bought it from Team Moto at Moorooka Brisbane and they were terrific to deal with. I have just clocked up 1000ks and simply can’t get enough of this bike. Hands down the easiest and best handling bike i have ever ridden. It’s a very smooth and slippery bike through the air with loads of torque and endless top end power. It’s a bike that you can ride lazily around or you can wind up the wick to what ever level you want. I did a 400k ride the other day and was sad that it didn’t go for another 100k. Thank-you my first Kawasaki.
Thanks for watching. Nice with good feedback on my video :) There are of course more clips on my channel of different quality, I am still learning ....
Good looking bike with all the accessories . I just bought the same bike but in black and gray and I'm putting on the kawasaki frame sliders , axle sliders, crankcase cover , tank pad and power plug to start off with !
Too bad you could not find some twisty roads. I have this bike (2022) and it handles like my sport bike I(even if 45 kg heavier). This is a great sport bike with touring capabilities. The motor is sublime and the bike likes to to fall into corners easily. Such a great machine!
I totally agree with you about the bike, it's awesome! :) I myself am not really used to sports bikes or racing bikes, so I have to take it a little easy in the curves, but I am starting to learn even if I probably never venture lower than about a 29 degree incline, in any case if the incline meter is to be believed.
For those of your N1K owners out there, does yours run very hot? My 2019 N1K seems to always run 4/5 temp gauge bars with the fan coming on when 5 bars are hit. Recently did a coolant flush and replenish with Engine Ice coolant. Everything burped and topped off. Still a "hot" running bike!
Love the performance pack with the Akro etc, do you think it’s worth the extra € over the standard ? Test riding a standard soon so wondering what you think of the extra investment 👍
well, i thought the extra money for the performance package is worth it. I thought the original muffler was extremely ugly, but that was not the only thing that decided. I absolutely wanted the side bags, for example, and I also think that the larger windscreen shovels away the wind better.
The trick is to wear padded under shorts/bike pants, move up and down in the seat every 10 minutes or so. Stand/Crouch up very briefly to stretch when safe. Never allow the seat to get too warm. Never ride for more than an hour. Always take a 10 minute rest minimum, and do basic stretches. Be proactive before the pain comes. Another thing that really works with the above is getting a mesh seat cover from eBay. Really helps keep the seat cool with airflow. We are all different, but taking your time with proper planning allows you to enjoy the journey and destination without soreness. My first bike trip ever I did a 6 hour trip and my arse hurt for days. I never wanted that to happen again so I did my research. Sticking to simple rules I covered a 3000km trip over 5 days with no soreness what’s so ever.
Sorry, don't have a good answer. Never driven that far, I do mostly day trips, but I would think it could go well, it's just a matter of taking appropriate breaks.
Hi Rikard I’m thinking about changing my Z900rs and this bike is in my short list, how do you like it compared to the Z900rs? Especially speed, performance and handling comparison
Hi and thanks for watching. The Z900rs and Ninja 1000SX are two different motorcycles. Ninja is more balanced, I think, and has a little more than 30 horsepower more, which is definitely noticeable when accelerating. Another thing I noticed early on was that the sixth gear on the 900 is higher geared and feels more like a pure cruising gear. The larger windscreen on the performance provides quite good protection.
Yeah, I was thinking the same thing about that mello Ninja SX. I have a RS Café with a MRA screen. It's pretty limited. You don't have any lower coverage. Problem is in the U.S. there is only a black/gray SX model, and it looks like every other insect bike out there... sort of. I just can't believe you can't even get some green. No SX SE tour model..... No tour & performance packages like I see the rest of planet has. It's stopping me from jumping at the dealership. I'll just wait.
I think it is good and removes the wind really well. I've actually only had it in its lower position. Maybe I should do a test with the windscreen in the different modes and make a movie about it.
@@RikardJohansson1 That would be really helpful. How tall are you? I love the bike but worry about touring fatigue if the taller screen isn't preventing buffeting. I don't mind clean air and a bit of noise, after all, it's a motorbike!

Got mine too on the Gold Coast, in black.
Get the suspensions set though… mine came too soft from factory and wasn’t handling properly

To ride bikes on empty roads..becomes almost a zero risk game. Wish it was like that in the UK.
Very nice place to ride.
Not spoken about enough, changing the end can helps to keep heat down around your legs.

Va snyggt det blev. Tjo va de gick fort:))
Ja, tycker också det blev snyggt ,märkte inte av väskorna och rutan är fantastisk på att skyffla undan luft.
Nice weather & scenery there. Suggest 1 more camera, a 360° maybe?
yes, I have thought about it but think 360 cameras are a bit expensive ...
but who knows, maybe I'll get more cameras later
Nice video, thanks for sharing.
Questions:
1. Any vibrations on the foot-pegs at highway speeds?
2. Is it comfortable at longer distances?
Hi, thanks for watching.
1. No, nothing I noticed.
2. I have probably driven a maximum of 150 km at a time, and think the comfort is good.
No vibes and very comfortable on long rides.

Exactly what I think as well, thanks for the feedback 👍
Nice! Picking mine up in three days
Congratulations, do not think you will be disappointed.
I think it's a wonderful motorcycle!
What's the longest you think you can ride on this without getting uncomfortable?
I have only driven day trips, and then at most about 300km (186 miles) and it works.
Ive done a 400k ride and it was much more comfortable than my Tracer.
@@concernedcitizen5506 On that stock seat? LOL I did one as well and my ass still hurts.

Does it have softer more padded comfort seats or do the seats stay the same as the standard bike ?
The same.

Köpte du hojen med allt monterat eller har du eftermonterat själv?
Köpte den som Performance tourer. Först kom den till butik som standard och sedan bestäldes sakerna som monterades vid 100 mila servicen.
