I also appreciate your in depth work. I wouldn't even open my pc if I didn't have someone to demonstrate possible problems with doing so. The wifi has a lot of packet loss with the ax200 card was wondering if there'd be enough room to do an external antenna on same card or with a better card
Thanks for this insight and the work that you’ve put in. I must admit that, despite it being available on a prime deal, it is quite disappointing. Beelink should have stated the TDP is limited to 35W with the included power supply. But it does run very quiet and is pleasant to work with. But you can’t help in the back of your mind that the included Ryzen 9 has been crippled. This is not a stop-gap device if you’re waiting for the SER 8 or SER 9 to go cheaper.
Happy to help and very well said 👏 The EQR6 is very quiet and pleasant. Had Beelink been more upfront, I would be much more happy. The cheaper r5 and and EQi12 i3 1220P seem like much better deals since they are much less power limited and just as quiet for less cost.
Also do you have to mess around in bios after this modification turning it into a 100w machine to tell cpu the new tdp is 54w instead of 35w or will the upgrade prevent sporadic power off situation without tdp adjustment?
