As other archons (but for Raiden), she will probably be a support character. Raiden is half-half. If the theory of the slimes is correct, she should throw pyro somehow. I would just not create too much expectation on having her as a top pyro DPS, as Arlecchino is. I would bet she will be the best attack booster in the game, since pyro is often related with attack boost.

Yeah, this is very much the same reason why I think Fischl won’t be powercrept by anything less than 5* Fischl. She just has too many things going on for her, good damage, extremely low field-time requirement, fastest electro application, highest particle generation from off-field, minimal action execution, snapshot. They will at best powercreep a few of them, not all.
i believe they've already shown how they approach there things with xq and yelan. it's as jamie says, one character will be better in some ways but not in others so which one you use will be dependant on the team, content, and preferance. kind of like kazuha and xilonen as well
Yae Miko does the job perfectly for me haven’t used fischl since her release even though some die on the hill that fischl is better.( she literally is worse in dmg than Miko) but people think less field time and faster electro means better. Miko has 100% uptime, more teams and flexibility compared to Fischl, once Fischl isn’t able to abuse her a4 for Aggravate Miko will be better, she can be on field, off field and has tons of varians, she is better than fischl in quickbloom, Taser, mono electro/swirl and Chev overload (no aim needed and longer duration turrets) best partner for Al haitham and Tighnari etc. She has superior range and better than Fischl in aoe. SHOULD I GO ON??
If they made a 5 star fischl that was better in every way, making it so that fischl is always worst in every single situation, fischl would still be good bc u could just play her w that character or use her on the other side, or she'd be the second best option at the very least
@@Marz333 It depends, they have different roles and you're just kneecapping yourself if you use Fischl over Yae in certain spots or Yae over Fischl in certain spots. Most notably is I'm not playing Yae over Fischl if I'm on-fielding another electro unit / anemo-electro swirl, or I'm specifically looking for high application, or I don't want to deal with field time, or I need a bow.

It takes work to test characters. Why would they commit to extra work on fringe comps that only a small fraction of their audience would even appreciate? If they were personally interested then that's another thing, but since that's obviously not the case it seems unreasonable to demand they be your personal errand boy. Either do it yourself, or pay for custom service with higher tier gifted subs or whatever streamers do these days.
I get you there. What I'll say from a TCers perspective is that it takes a lot of effort to compile the most meta strategies for a character. Everyone has that character that they hate, and it's a lot harder to be motivated to make content for a character that A) you don't like B) is unpopular and C) has very little synergy (teams feel strapped together) However, from your perspective I also get it. Around the time of Kokomi's release, even though TCers knew she wasn't bad, it was incredibly hard to find reliable info about her. I had to do my own TC only to find the teams I was already playing were being recommended to me months later. Around Eula's release there was even less TC content than there was around 2.0, and she has only received less and less attention. Basically, I sympathize with it probably being really hard to find reliable Eula information. It's annoying, but I wouldn't blame the TCers who are CCs. They gotta make content that gets watched. Also I looked on Eula mains discord and holy shit that place is barren. HOWEVER on the KQM website they are apparently working on an update to the extended Eula guide, here's hoping you get some good info soon lol because sifting through Eula mains was painful
@@tasha2749 i don't know much about EC and i'm ready to try with ororon but overload buff is huge imo right now i'm getting around 28k overload damage with kuki in arlecchino chevreuse (AOE btw), with the buffs it will be even more than hyperbloom but the big difference with hyperbloom comps is that in chevreuse team you actually have a proper main dps that deals massive numbers on top of the reaction happening in the back
I'm no speedrunner and I've never had enough trouble with Abyss to care about the minor details, so my perspective is... Navia boom do bigger number, me like. It's been my favorite Xilonen team and I've tested just about all of them.
Zajeff is completely right about the Fav on Raiden. Xiangling is the one that should be maximized. Xiangling limiter is ER and she wants ALL the stats. She wants everything but ER stops her from getting ALL the stats. It lets you get away with far less ER because Raiden triggers Fav at least 3 times per rotation turning her into an ER nuclear reactor. By using Fav on Raiden it lets you get away with more powerful weapons on both Xiangling and Xingqiu while also being much more comfortable to play. Only once Raiden is c2 do you want to actually equip her personally with powerful weapons.
Did people forget OG national was Chongyun Xiangling Xingqiu and Bennet? 1.0 team babyy Favonius exist in 1.0 too No catch, use prototype crescent, Favonius lance. Sacrificial sword and random atk sword for Chongyun. What prevents early-mid game team from unlocking insane elemental reactions is energy recharge.
I really wish tcr's didn't despise Yoimiya as much as they do, I'm stuck figuring out the optimal rotation for Yoi Xingqiu/Yelan (whichever is easier to set up with) Xilo Yun Jin myself

did a similar thing lol i thought ley lines were like a quest and if you kept doing them eventually they'd stop popping up. i constantly used primos to buy resin to just keep doing ley lines and it was early game too so it's not like you get much out of it. obviously later i realized that primos are used for wishes and i wasted a ton. at the time i felt a bit annoyed with myself but it's pretty funny looking back
Personally I would be very happy with a unit that powercreeps Xiangling with good off field pyro app on skill and does much less damage. My main issue with Xiangling is how cringe her energy generation is solo pyro, not just that it's low, but that it's over time on a turret that can't move or turn. I'm not a speedrunner so I'm not willing to reset until Guoba actually hits all his particles, more power to the people that are. I'm happy to use her in double or triple pyro teams though. I love Arlecchino mono pyro.

those brown pyro things and new robots from natlan are actually pretty easy to dodge, the only thing that bothers me is the return of constipated beasts. But even then i still want to try neuv xilo team, current abyss felt pretty easy without a shield so maybe i will be able to dodge in the next too

Completely agree with jamies take on how people think overrated means bad. Imo furina and neuvilette are 2 of the most overrated character since the launch of genshin (This was a pre xilonen take). But i still think furina is a top 3 unit and neuv prob top 10 or atleast best dps
Speaking from personal experience, the neuv side always feels easier than whatever i have in the other side, there's little to no rng in his gameplay, enemy ai doesn't influence your run and the recent trend of multiwaves on different sides doesn't affect him, that's why to me, he's arguably the best character

when you cast a skill or enemies dies both drop particle or energy to fill for burst so it can be used but they not going to you instantly and need to travel from enemies to you and it need a time (not long but very noticeable) when you doing abyss you fight again timer and for speedrunner every milliseconds is worth by you open the handbook, the timer, your character and enemies will be paused but the particle and and energy somehow not paused and still travel to your character flowly and by doing that you save mills or even couple second and can use your burst instantly
I am very disappointed with how Wrio is very different between C0 and C1, this is not about the difference in damage, but about the difference in Gameplay Experience.

There is a eula team , and pretending that raiden and the elctro slot in general isn't why phys teams have low team dps is just disingenious. Lets see what raiden does on that team: buff: about the equivalent of 13% phys dmg bonus because only roughly half of eula's damage is burst dmg (so one third of a c0 mika buff against a single target without the atk speed ) dmg: she does about as half as much dmg as albeo on mono geo but requires 9 seconds of filed time to do it energy: Even single target energy generation is terrible in that time you can do 2 fav rosaria skills into eula skill which is already much better with 0 er on eula. She extends the rotation and doesn't justify her field time you can hardly find a character whose best team includes someone so useless as raiden in phys team. if she instead shortened the rotation how xilonen does that would a lot better 26 sec rot->52k team dps 22 sec rot->61k team dps 16 sec rot->84k team dps
I agree with Jamie, Xiangling was a mistake from day 1 and the developers overlooked how much she could be abused. Mauvika likely won't have all of: zero icd, great aoe, burst can be snapshot. Leaks so far seem to suggest the pyro archon is closer to dehya powercreep than xiangling.

Furina wasn't a powercreep in hydro application and direct damage but she is still more used now than Yelan and Xingqiu
Idk what the problem of Zajef with souls games is. Zaj was a souls-like nerd for me when he wasn’t that big cause he learned enemies attack patterns in Genshin and shit. If it’s hard for him he can do it in coop with a friend who knows dark souls. He’s missing out a lot I think. I thought it’s a perfect game for him to show his TCness.
There was some clip with hollow knight as this same topic and he explained that he actually sucks in any of these games and likes the number crunching/ genshin chemistry more. It's just that playing this game for so long and testing different things has hammered the enemy patterns in his brain
Souls games are about achieving that zen state where you can read the scrolling Matrix text. You can see everything coming, it just becomes a matter of execution. When you make a mistake, you instantly realize it even before the actual death blow hits. It's satisfying because it feels fair, even if you're dying 100 times in a row. It's always, "Okay, I got you bch, I know THIS time I'm gonna get it right." Thing is, possibility always exists that the penny won't drop. I platinum'd Bloodborne but could not click with Sekiro at all. When not in zen, only frustration remains, even in victory.
He's not that good in these games but also streaming them is pain and stressful since all people are backseating or making fun of you. But I agree, I really enjoyed his DMC5 and Elden Ring streams, he was actually learning and improving.
He talked about it. First, he is not good at those types of games at all, but he also doesn't enjoy the process of dying and trying a thousand times when he is streaming and has chat skill issuing him every death. He said that if he played it off stream he'd probably enjoy it more but on stream it just gets frustrating for him to play. Plus, he also likes the numbers crunching thing he can do with genshin.
@@almightynoob1631 Honestly I think Souls can have a good amount of number crunching as well though. There's definitely some interesting stuff in terms of build optimization and synergies especially with PvP and trying to keep under a certain level. I feel like a lot of people underestimate the "RPG-ness" of the Souls games and overemphasize the skill aspect because in reality I actually feel like the biggest allure is having that build diversity and being able to try out different weapons and stat allocations.

U can use the adventure handbook icon or other places to pause between combat in abyss to save time and energy
when you cast a skill or enemies dies both drop particle or energy to fill for burst so it can be used
but they not going to you instantly and need to travel from enemies to you and it need a time (not long but very noticeable)
when you doing abyss you fight again timer and for speedrunner every milliseconds is worth
by you open the handbook, the timer, your character and enemies will be paused but the particle and and energy somehow not paused and still travel to your character flowly and by doing that you save mills or even couple second and can use your burst instantly

There is a eula team , and pretending that raiden and the elctro slot in general isn't why phys teams have low team dps is just disingenious.
Lets see what raiden does on that team:
buff: about the equivalent of 13% phys dmg bonus because only roughly half of eula's damage is burst dmg (so one third of a c0 mika buff against a single target without the atk speed )
dmg: she does about as half as much dmg as albeo on mono geo but requires 9 seconds of filed time to do it
energy: Even single target energy generation is terrible in that time you can do 2 fav rosaria skills into eula skill which is already much better with 0 er on eula.
She extends the rotation and doesn't justify her field time you can hardly find a character whose best team includes someone so useless as raiden in phys team. if she instead shortened the rotation how xilonen does that would a lot better

I agree with Jamie, Xiangling was a mistake from day 1 and the developers overlooked how much she could be abused.
Mauvika likely won't have all of: zero icd, great aoe, burst can be snapshot.
Leaks so far seem to suggest the pyro archon is closer to dehya powercreep than xiangling.

@@Sable813the thing I disagree with him is that even if she isn't a powercreep in every aspect, she will 100% be better in the aspects like comfort, ease of use, and support, to make up for things like Xiangling having 0 ICD. Furina wasn't a powercreep in hydro application and direct damage but she is still more used now than Yelan and Xingqiu

Idk what the problem of Zajef with souls games is. Zaj was a souls-like nerd for me when he wasn’t that big cause he learned enemies attack patterns in Genshin and shit. If it’s hard for him he can do it in coop with a friend who knows dark souls. He’s missing out a lot I think. I thought it’s a perfect game for him to show his TCness.
There was some clip with hollow knight as this same topic and he explained that he actually sucks in any of these games and likes the number crunching/ genshin chemistry more. It's just that playing this game for so long and testing different things has hammered the enemy patterns in his brain

You can see everything coming, it just becomes a matter of execution. When you make a mistake, you instantly realize it even before the actual death blow hits.
It's satisfying because it feels fair, even if you're dying 100 times in a row. It's always, "Okay, I got you bch, I know THIS time I'm gonna get it right."
Thing is, possibility always exists that the penny won't drop. I platinum'd Bloodborne but could not click with Sekiro at all. When not in zen, only frustration remains, even in victory.
He's not that good in these games but also streaming them is pain and stressful since all people are backseating or making fun of you.
But I agree, I really enjoyed his DMC5 and Elden Ring streams, he was actually learning and improving.
He talked about it. First, he is not good at those types of games at all, but he also doesn't enjoy the process of dying and trying a thousand times when he is streaming and has chat skill issuing him every death. He said that if he played it off stream he'd probably enjoy it more but on stream it just gets frustrating for him to play. Plus, he also likes the numbers crunching thing he can do with genshin.
@@almightynoob1631 Honestly I think Souls can have a good amount of number crunching as well though. There's definitely some interesting stuff in terms of build optimization and synergies especially with PvP and trying to keep under a certain level. I feel like a lot of people underestimate the "RPG-ness" of the Souls games and overemphasize the skill aspect because in reality I actually feel like the biggest allure is having that build diversity and being able to try out different weapons and stat allocations.
Never heard of Jaimie before, but he seems like a level headed person with actual knowledge of the game. Zajef on the other hand, thinks that what he likes is legit better than whats actually better and optimal. Average brain dead takes...
