Literally I have Xilonen, Kinich, C1 Xianyun and none of them come even close to how great Scara is in exploration. It's a night and day difference and as someone who 100% every region I can't imagine not having him. In all fairness playing him without Zhongli is a MISERABLE experience lol
I have a fully built Ayaka, Alhaitham, Xianyun and Navia whom I never use at all and Mualani is soon going to be part of that team. Increasingly finding that mid dps characters and godly supports are the most satisfying to build and play because you feel a sense of accomplishment.

You have to like Navia's Golden Retriever energy to really click with her. That said, thank the Archons Xilonen came out and is mostly a quiet idle character.
I feel like Arlecchino's animated short ruined her story quest because the short basically gave us all the lore from the quest except it's just pure eye candy meanwhile the quest is just dialogue heavy until you can unlock her boss fight
Navia trial in act 5 as a whole is to move on on what happened to her servants , that's and L take , she's easily top 5 characters personality in the game , she was amazing in the 4.8 event
Commenting again to say that I've never really thought about it until now that the more a character shows up in the story the less interesting they can get Because Genshin does do this specifically with filler events, they just add already good characters into them then give them very cringe dialogue and it just leaves a bad impression behind
Its me with shenhe, her first appearance on an archon quest is such a cool badass girl with a dark vibe surrounding her, like she is a human raised by adeptus with uncontrollable desire and emotion getting hold by a singgle string constantly having nightmares learning about human live through yunjin and the trveler, and then she shows up again in the last lantern rite and just doing something boring like girl!!!!!, cmon she becomes a gooner bait for people to purchase her skin

I regret Nilou, her restriction is stupid and I never play her. Everytime I have an inkling to play her I go to put kazuha on her team...realize you cant do that and just take her off entirely.
I also can't relate, as someone who constantly plans out my pulls even when I regularly spend. Pulling all the characters I want because of their story/character in game and then pushing them to be as strong as possible. I knew Dehya would be shit and I still pulled not only her C1 but her weapon too. Can't feel regret if I already know who I'll like.
Tsaritsa is literally the only character that shouldn't be evil , her entire purpose is to delete celestia which are the final biggest villain in the game

I have a slight disagreement in that the stepping up character arc he wanted for Silver should've gone to Navia after she lost her 2 best henchmen who helped her with everything. Go from the Spina's princess to being truly it's boss. Instead they had her cry (again) while everyone reassured her that they love their princess. No need for change or growth, the villain introduced for the quest is just a big bitter meanie 😴😴😴 Yet another Hoyo character I quite like but wish they'd write something interesting with.

I'm with Zajef on that one. Navia felt far more interesting during the AQ. She was stylish and confident and had a fun dynamic with Melus and Silver. When the Fontaine arc wraps up, she's pretty much just another Traveler fangirl. I get that there wouldn't be much for her to do regardless, but really? That's where HoYo decided to go with her?
C2 Dehya is probably one of my favorite characters for now because I love using her as pyro app and reaction trigger. (It's amazing for kinnich and Emilie)
The only character I regret is Ayaka. Used her sparingly, then got permanently benched. I dont regret Ayato even tho I rarely use him nowadays. Would refund Hutao. Her only saving grace is that I got her c1 early
My only regret is klee, i got her cause of my wish addiction back in 1.5, one day before kazuha's release, cause of that i had to wait a long ass time for his rerun
I am surprised how many people dislike chlorinde. I have so much fun dashing around with her and she carries me really good through all content (c0 r1). On top of that super comfortable to play with the self heal, the amount of number is satisfying and u can do so many reactions with her. Both overload and quicken teams work. I double crowned her and regret nothing.
yeah, she was one of the most fun characters i got recently, i started playing her as much as i play Keqing, and sometimes even more, because she has more team options. I never get tired of her animations.
i like her too! very braindead and comfy, i lost to jean on her banner and played her again on IT and i was having so much fun despite IT being so bad. so yeah I'll try to get her down the line for sure
Zajeff has always had a pretty interesting 5 star character roster, he has some characters I wouldn't expect a numbers tester to have and some that I would but I'm interested in what other peeps in the comments here would want to pull for still or regrets pulling for me I still really want Childe and Wriothesley and I'd 100% want to get rid of my Eula and Itto Dang I guess I'm part of the 1% who have Ayato and wouldn't refund him for anything, I just like his design and play style despite it being not too strong. The skill is just very satisfying to me.
Wouldn't refund Ayato, his skill is so cool. Same for Childe, he is the coolest. Would never refund my Itto, carried me through much endgame. Glad I skipped Eula, Wriothesley, Cyno, Klee

@@SleepyKurisu for regrets Lyney and Alhaitham. After I got Arlecchino I was doing single pulls to try to get Xiangling c4 and got him 3 wishes in. Should've just waited for the shop (at least I didn't lose much) Alhaitham I got recently after I started cause a friend recommended him. But I felt weird using characters I didn't know, and had no idea where the Wenut was. By the time I got to the Sumeru desert I felt fine with DMC/Collei for hyperbloom and Tighnari for spread, and cringed at the idea of farming the Wenut. Now I have Nahida and don't feel any need to build him.
i agree with zaj take on characters who appear less can be better than "main" characters, but i thought neuv, furina, alhaitham or venti for example were consistent and interesting even though they were present through entire archon quest

I have Ayato. I got him "by accident" trying to get some Sucrose cons when he released, but I don't regret getting him, his gameplay is fun and he carried me a lot when I started playing Abyss. Even if he is not as nearly as good as he was on release, I still like him On the other hand, rhe characters I regret the most for pulling are Nilou and Clorinde, their gameplay are really chuncky
Video title is misleading, because there is a difference between "I reget pulling for this character" and "I will refund it now if I could". Like for example Hutao, Ayaka, Raiden all benched at this moment, but they were the goats when they were released. Hutao didn't become weaker (unlike freeze teams, Snejnaya will make it great again Copium), it's just new characters more fun and convinient to use.
Itto eula and yoimiya for me. Thing is i already knew they're pretty bad but still pulled just because i wanted to test how it feels to pull solely based on feelings. It's terrible
So you watch English dubs I take it ? They always do seem stiff and are in lots of cases recorded separately. But JP are not on both counts more often then not. Switch to subs, at least for anime. Genshin guess it doesn't matter as much.👍
I regret getting Ayaka and Kokomi because at the time felt forced to have a good freeze team for Abyss, and realized I don't playing Ayaka and don't have any other use for Kokomi. I also regret getting Eula even though I got her with 2 pity. I'm too invested into Yoimiya as character to regret her even tho she's extremely bad, she has turned into kinda of a project to my account to one day make her able to clear abyss semi reliably.
Fortunately as someone who is decently wary of how a character will age on my account the only one i've rly regretted is Cyno which is pretty common from what i've seen so😅
What happened with chlorinde was she is on thundering fury, but her atk sands and electro goblet are ass so she’s on em goblet and atk sands which have much better stats but she does negative damage outside of quick bloom and I don’t feel like farming better artifacts
idk man, since furine release I never had a reason to play yelan again, maybe in exploration but even there wanderer is pretty similar while being more fun to play just by being a carry, I would put my yelan even lower

Eula was fine enough to play but she fell ooooooooooff, omega clunky to the point of being unplayable. Ayaka I actually pulled her and her signature only for her to feel like worse Ganyu (my first main) - I personally blame zajef.

Ive gotten Ayato C1 ... I got both of them on accident on like 10-30 pulls into pitty because I wanted the 4 stars. Id trade them in a heartbeat. Ayato, Yoimiya and Cyno are characters Ive gotten and I havent gotten a single ounce of fun out of them sadly. Eula has been sitting on the bench for ever. I want to like her. I think physical is actually a cool concept. But shes just so cringe to play. Last but not least, tho the Natlan characters look fun kit wise, I come hell and high water, cant stand the design of Natlan and the characters.
My biggest regret for pulled 5 stars is probably Albedo, since he does feel underwhelming, and he's easily countered in the Abyss. Other than him, I don't really regret getting any of my other limited 5 stars. I even find Eula fun since my build on her has a ton of ER, so I just burst every rotation. I guess this is cos I'm a lot more lenient with the characters I pull for, since I'm pretty much the only one making the decision, lol.
@GreenHellTube Cyno really only has one team and two of his supports are the best supports in the game. Love the guy and playing the premium hyperbloom team but it's very greedy and Nahida and Furina are better used in other teams.

But the xingqiu variant isn't much worse and cyno becomes capable of face tanking everything with xq and Baizhu together, which is absolutely goated. Navia is so good as a unit but she takes up the best characters in the game (furina benett xilonen) and my other team in abyss looks mid in comparaison
Yoi is garbage but she has generally improved the state of every bow character that has proceeded her because of how gimped she is. She also is my farming character back when Inazuma was toxic for melee characters for the most part.

Clorinde is also my greatest regret, when i saw that she has some hybrid pistol-sword gameplay i was very excited because i thinked i could get some kind of DMC vibes with her, but great was my disappointing within the first 20 minutes testing her, maybe she is slightly stronger than Keqing on same team arquetypes (but if you have cons for her maybe she's still stronger than Clorinde) but i have ⅒ of the fun playing Clorinde instead of Keqing in those teams.
@@lucasayabe according to what bro? at c0 Clorinde is slightly stronger for only two things: 1 is 5% more critrate and 2 self healing wich enables team flexibility but talking specifically of the same team members they're equal in personal dmg (playing keqing with charged attacks increases even more her dmg) and finally first 3 Clorinde cons aren't that strong as they sound, in fact c1 Clorinde and C1 Keqing are the same because both get coordinated attacks (wich Keqing ones are slightly stronger) and is at c4 where they really start to get a disparity but c4 on a promotional character is very expensive while on a standard character you may already have it if you have time playing the game.
The sucrose and xq cope is impressive, i mean it's good to incourage players to spend less, i respect him for that, but to compare sucrose with kazuha and xq with yelan... If it's not intentional i gotta think his kazuha and yelan build are really bad..
His builds aren't bad. I personally could never see myself using Sucrose over Kazu, but I still get consistent use out of Xingqiu even with a strong Yelan build. He works better in some situations, he's much more comfortable with defensive utility, and his hydro is better at keeping up with someone like Hu Tao.
In terms of buff, for some teams sucrosse is not that different from kazuha, the main difference is gameplay, and Xinqiu is really not worse than yelan, i have a c1r1 yelan and i still pick xinqiu 99% of the times if i want to play one hydro, everytime i play yelan its for double hydro paired with xinqiu, playing her alone is bad, cause of the energy issues, and i dont want to change her build arround, sure she does a lot of damage, and that feels good, but in terms of comfort, i rather use xinqiu, always
Suc vs kazuha is a bit cope, but she still has cases where she is better just because em steroid+very little field time. Xq vs yelan is a different story altogether though. He clearly just does way more than yelan. She deals more damage but that's kinda it, gives nothing else, and pre furuna, if you wanted to use yelan, her best teams would be the ones with xingqiu.
The “5*>>>4*” mindset keeps you from creating/using other team options tbh. If you value speed, 5* options and their lengthy animations can hold you back when there’s a faster alternative. I’ll be honest, the 5* equivalents to the 4* options (at times) only have high dmg over their competition. For dps characters, that’s great, but for supports it doesn’t matter much in certain teams
Sucrose's E is mega cringe compared to Kazuha, I don't understand what he's yapping about. Why would ANYONE prefer a skill with a random targeting than never swirls what you want is beyond me.

It is weird how much faster I clear content with chlorinde than raiden. And my raiden has even better artifacts while my chlorinde still using gladiators. I genuinely believe chlorinde to be better and I only like using raiden as hyperbloom teammate anymore lol.

Wanderer is a character you didn't know you needed until you actually got him. I cant imagine myself doing exploration without him

C2 Dehya is probably one of my favorite characters for now because I love using her as pyro app and reaction trigger. (It's amazing for kinnich and Emilie)
The only character I regret is Ayaka. Used her sparingly, then got permanently benched. I dont regret Ayato even tho I rarely use him nowadays. Would refund Hutao. Her only saving grace is that I got her c1 early
My only regret is klee, i got her cause of my wish addiction back in 1.5, one day before kazuha's release, cause of that i had to wait a long ass time for his rerun
I am surprised how many people dislike chlorinde. I have so much fun dashing around with her and she carries me really good through all content (c0 r1). On top of that super comfortable to play with the self heal, the amount of number is satisfying and u can do so many reactions with her. Both overload and quicken teams work. I double crowned her and regret nothing.
I'm glad. I don't use her in Abyss but she's super fun for chest farming!
yeah, she was one of the most fun characters i got recently, i started playing her as much as i play Keqing, and sometimes even more, because she has more team options. I never get tired of her animations.

Only character I regret pulling is Eula. I got baited by damage per screenshot on her first rerun. Everyone else I’m still satisfied with.
I will never regret getting any electro unit, since I always use all of them at least one every Abyss in an aggravate team with Fischl
Childe is very likely will have new teams very soon, ororon's kit seems pretty interesting for a new firecrackers team

Zajeff has always had a pretty interesting 5 star character roster, he has some characters I wouldn't expect a numbers tester to have and some that I would but I'm interested in what other peeps in the comments here would want to pull for still or regrets pulling for me I still really want Childe and Wriothesley and I'd 100% want to get rid of my Eula and Itto
Dang I guess I'm part of the 1% who have Ayato and wouldn't refund him for anything, I just like his design and play style despite it being not too strong. The skill is just very satisfying to me.
Wouldn't refund Ayato, his skill is so cool. Same for Childe, he is the coolest. Would never refund my Itto, carried me through much endgame. Glad I skipped Eula, Wriothesley, Cyno, Klee

Also Ayato keep is so valid for me I'd refund my Itto purely because I've been trying to build a mono Geo team ever since I pulled him but just never get around to giving it my full focus
@@SleepyKurisu Yes, i had Ayaka already. Wriothesley is one of those characters I LOVED in the story but his kit looked so underwhelming that i knew i wouldn't have fun playing him.
@@hanshofer9458 that's completely fair, Cryo is just my favorite element and it hasn't really put out a character I like play style wise other then Wriothesley and I wasn't able to get him on his only banner so I just use my Ganyu whenever I absolutely need a cryo dps

After I got Arlecchino I was doing single pulls to try to get Xiangling c4 and got him 3 wishes in. Should've just waited for the shop (at least I didn't lose much)
Alhaitham I got recently after I started cause a friend recommended him. But I felt weird using characters I didn't know, and had no idea where the Wenut was. By the time I got to the Sumeru desert I felt fine with DMC/Collei for hyperbloom and Tighnari for spread, and cringed at the idea of farming the Wenut.
Now I have Nahida and don't feel any need to build him.
As a Clorinde main i feel so offended 😔

@@ahumanperson1638 as much as i like play Yoimiya, i have to agree that her gameplay sucks, if the abyss doesn't line up well like the current one (probably the one i have most fun with her since i got her) she fells shit to play or have teams that aren't that fun like having to use Beidou to multi target content.

I have Ayato. I got him "by accident" trying to get some Sucrose cons when he released, but I don't regret getting him, his gameplay is fun and he carried me a lot when I started playing Abyss. Even if he is not as nearly as good as he was on release, I still like him
On the other hand, rhe characters I regret the most for pulling are Nilou and Clorinde, their gameplay are really chuncky

Was fun for 1 patch, but i gave up grinding a decent set for him and just abandoned him, using his mid arts for other characters
Video title is misleading, because there is a difference between "I reget pulling for this character" and "I will refund it now if I could". Like for example Hutao, Ayaka, Raiden all benched at this moment, but they were the goats when they were released. Hutao didn't become weaker (unlike freeze teams, Snejnaya will make it great again Copium), it's just new characters more fun and convinient to use.
Matters of taste... also would refund a few chars but they all had so much playtime that it doesn't feel fair. That's what bench is for.
Itto eula and yoimiya for me. Thing is i already knew they're pretty bad but still pulled just because i wanted to test how it feels to pull solely based on feelings. It's terrible

I regret getting Ayaka and Kokomi because at the time felt forced to have a good freeze team for Abyss, and realized I don't playing Ayaka and don't have any other use for Kokomi. I also regret getting Eula even though I got her with 2 pity.
I'm too invested into Yoimiya as character to regret her even tho she's extremely bad, she has turned into kinda of a project to my account to one day make her able to clear abyss semi reliably.

What happened with chlorinde was she is on thundering fury, but her atk sands and electro goblet are ass so she’s on em goblet and atk sands which have much better stats but she does negative damage outside of quick bloom and I don’t feel like farming better artifacts

Eula was fine enough to play but she fell ooooooooooff, omega clunky to the point of being unplayable. Ayaka I actually pulled her and her signature only for her to feel like worse Ganyu (my first main) - I personally blame zajef.

Ive gotten Ayato C1 ... I got both of them on accident on like 10-30 pulls into pitty because I wanted the 4 stars. Id trade them in a heartbeat. Ayato, Yoimiya and Cyno are characters Ive gotten and I havent gotten a single ounce of fun out of them sadly. Eula has been sitting on the bench for ever. I want to like her. I think physical is actually a cool concept. But shes just so cringe to play. Last but not least, tho the Natlan characters look fun kit wise, I come hell and high water, cant stand the design of Natlan and the characters.
My biggest regret for pulled 5 stars is probably Albedo, since he does feel underwhelming, and he's easily countered in the Abyss. Other than him, I don't really regret getting any of my other limited 5 stars. I even find Eula fun since my build on her has a ton of ER, so I just burst every rotation. I guess this is cos I'm a lot more lenient with the characters I pull for, since I'm pretty much the only one making the decision, lol.

Love the guy and playing the premium hyperbloom team but it's very greedy and Nahida and Furina are better used in other teams.

Yoi is garbage but she has generally improved the state of every bow character that has proceeded her because of how gimped she is.

Clorinde is also my greatest regret, when i saw that she has some hybrid pistol-sword gameplay i was very excited because i thinked i could get some kind of DMC vibes with her, but great was my disappointing within the first 20 minutes testing her, maybe she is slightly stronger than Keqing on same team arquetypes (but if you have cons for her maybe she's still stronger than Clorinde) but i have ⅒ of the fun playing Clorinde instead of Keqing in those teams.

@@lucasayabe according to what bro? at c0 Clorinde is slightly stronger for only two things: 1 is 5% more critrate and 2 self healing wich enables team flexibility but talking specifically of the same team members they're equal in personal dmg (playing keqing with charged attacks increases even more her dmg) and finally first 3 Clorinde cons aren't that strong as they sound, in fact c1 Clorinde and C1 Keqing are the same because both get coordinated attacks (wich Keqing ones are slightly stronger) and is at c4 where they really start to get a disparity but c4 on a promotional character is very expensive while on a standard character you may already have it if you have time playing the game.

The sucrose and xq cope is impressive, i mean it's good to incourage players to spend less, i respect him for that, but to compare sucrose with kazuha and xq with yelan... If it's not intentional i gotta think his kazuha and yelan build are really bad..
His builds aren't bad. I personally could never see myself using Sucrose over Kazu, but I still get consistent use out of Xingqiu even with a strong Yelan build. He works better in some situations, he's much more comfortable with defensive utility, and his hydro is better at keeping up with someone like Hu Tao.
In terms of buff, for some teams sucrosse is not that different from kazuha, the main difference is gameplay, and Xinqiu is really not worse than yelan, i have a c1r1 yelan and i still pick xinqiu 99% of the times if i want to play one hydro, everytime i play yelan its for double hydro paired with xinqiu, playing her alone is bad, cause of the energy issues, and i dont want to change her build arround, sure she does a lot of damage, and that feels good, but in terms of comfort, i rather use xinqiu, always
Suc vs kazuha is a bit cope, but she still has cases where she is better just because em steroid+very little field time.
Xq vs yelan is a different story altogether though. He clearly just does way more than yelan. She deals more damage but that's kinda it, gives nothing else, and pre furuna, if you wanted to use yelan, her best teams would be the ones with xingqiu.
The “5*>>>4*” mindset keeps you from creating/using other team options tbh. If you value speed, 5* options and their lengthy animations can hold you back when there’s a faster alternative. I’ll be honest, the 5* equivalents to the 4* options (at times) only have high dmg over their competition. For dps characters, that’s great, but for supports it doesn’t matter much in certain teams
Sucrose's E is mega cringe compared to Kazuha, I don't understand what he's yapping about. Why would ANYONE prefer a skill with a random targeting than never swirls what you want is beyond me.

It is weird how much faster I clear content with chlorinde than raiden. And my raiden has even better artifacts while my chlorinde still using gladiators. I genuinely believe chlorinde to be better and I only like using raiden as hyperbloom teammate anymore lol.
