- Genshin's 4th anniversary announce a bunch of Quality Of Life Updates. But Archon quick start feature stood from the rest as it changes the new player experience after they finish Liyue.
how are you this underrated?? love your videos man
Plus we now have focused mode
So far, the most true open world game i ever play are minecraft. Everything about the map is created randomly and you can freely go to anywhere
its called sandbox
@@pinguinosovietico7051 i'm talking about open world. Not sandbox
@@thegrandlord2914 thats the point, minecraft is a sandbox. not an open world
@@pinguinosovietico7051 sandbox is a genre of games where you free to do anything you want. Sandbox game exist in many types of game, either open world, city building, even mmo.
Meanwhile openworld game is a type of game where the map are not segmented into many regions that need teleportation to go through and it is possible to walk or swim through the map since the border between area are not locked by some kind of barrier
@@pinguinosovietico7051 if we talking about sandbox, we are talking about the type of gameplay that game possible to do. Meanwhile if we talking about openworld, we are talking what type of map that game will provide to us
nice video :>
I'm 4 years into this game, and despite the regions many good aspects the truth shall remain, Inazuma was a mistake.
Oddly though, the Honkai Crossover and more importantly the tradition of HUGE summer events which came with new regions each year were not, especially those summer events. So its not like at the time Mihoyo didn't have good ideas or weren't trying they just somehow went backwards with important aspects of the region itself, albeit with very good intentions (story telling.) Sometimes Devs just experiment in the wrong direction, go a bit too far with it all, we are lucky with Genshin they kept at it regardless, for a lesser game Inazuma's jumbled nature (again, despite its positives, it absolutely has them too) would of been a IP killer.
Glad they turn things around with Sumeru. I was contemplating quitting after doing Inazuma AQ but Shenhe IQ along with Chasm AQ manage to hold my interesting until Sumeru.
cool
the story doesnt force u to travel to any regions before the new ones tho
like , u only need to complete liyue to travel to new nations like sumeru , fontaine and natlan
inazuma is locked behind a quest cuz duh how else u'd get to it? swim?
also the quests arent an issue nor disable exploration
people are just lazy and dont know how to play
tying characters and story between regions isnt an issue
fontaine IS linked cuz u gotta get there from sumeru
AND there is tons of info thats based on knowledge from sumeru there
no , fontaines story wasnt rlly good , bad even
there was no action , no trying to solve the issue and people getting falsly acused of crimes they didnt commit WHILE EVERY SECOND EVERY SINGLE CITIZEN COULD DIE
THEY DID BARELY ANYTHING ABOUT IT
+ when u finish fontaine ur told to go to natlan
so u are literaly going to miss 2 whole regions and shitton of lore and characters that are gonna come up near the end of the game
yae miko gives u info on the dendro archon , not much but still a good bit
+ not like u cant explore those regions , u can
I appreciate your comment and engaging with the topic
This video is more of a what we Could have had instead of what we actually gotten.
Inazuma being story locked isn't an issue yes since its immediately after Liyue.
As with the other regions. I argue more the feeling of being there main storywise that helps with immersion.
Setting foot in a new region should feel like a big event for new players, instead running past years worth of content just to collect some flowers for the new 5* they just gotten.
You can reach Fontaine from Chenyu Vale now. I also think they gave up in making area reachable by foot and just straight add teleporters like Natlan............
I dunno what in Sumeru is so important for Fontaine.
But if theoretically someone ask me if they can skip Sumeru/Inazuma to do Fontaine. I cannot in good faith tell them that they will be confused with the story with tons of missing context to enjoy it fully if didn't do the past 2 regions.
Learning some tidbits about Descenders or the next Archon after 10+ hours of main story that has nothing to do with it does not hold the same value and meeting Childe again in Fontaine after Liyue imo.
I'm not pro skipping entire regions. I'm talking about doing them out of order. They will have to do them all eventually in the end.
Natlan is a failure. I can't stand the indwelling and crayon colored map.
I won't give them too much flak for trying something new.
But yeah looks like a new pokemon game instead of The War Torn nation of Dragons............
Literally a pokemon tournament.
You talk too slow
