Interesting that they keep discussing the rating system because the PG-13 rating debuted the very next year (1985), partially because of spicy comedies like this but mostly because of the graphic violence specifically in the two movies Gremlins and Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, which were both rated PG and both drew major fire from parents. Great reaction, great collab, really enjoyed it!

I'm one of those old timey people you mentioned... I was 11yo when this movie came out, and my family and a couple of my sixth grade friends stood in line for hours at the local bowling alley/cinema to see this. We all loved it! I'm sure I saw it a couple more times in the theaters, and we saw it dozens of more times over the years on VHS and movie channels (HBO, etc.). My buddies and I would constantly repeat the lines back and forth with each other, we listened to the soundtrack, bought posters and t-shirts with the Ghostbusters symbol on it, etc. Ghostbusters was quite the cultural phenomenon growing up. Even to this day I have the movie on 4K disc and watch it at least once a year (usually around Halloween). I'm glad you guys enjoyed the movie and appreciated the effects. They were quite groundbreaking back in the day (and hold up fairly well even now).
When Egon was under the desk he was fixing her computer. Offices often had full PC's with a tower and they were often kept under the desk on the floor to free up space on the desk. People fixing computer problems back then were always under desks. That's why she said "You're very handy". Because he fixed her computer. The sexual thing was still implied though because people usually didn't sit at the desk while someone was under it. Esp. if she were wearing a skirt.
Winston was going to be played by Eddie Murphy but he was already starting Beverly Hills Cop. Originally John Belushi was supposed to have a role but he passed away before a script was even finalized. Slimer, the green ghost in the beginning, was a shoutout to Belushi.
and he was originally simply nicknamed “the onion head ghost” the name Slimee actually originated from the cartoon series The Real Ghostbusters which started airing two years later
@@blazinjedi2008 the Louis Tully character was written for him. He turned it down after a conversation with the director of how to portray the character.
The comedy in this movie is gold. There are so many subtle funny moments. In the elevator when Ray says "Switch me on" and the rest of them back away to the corners of the elevator. Hilarious.
This movie isn't about ghosts. It's about three guys down on their luck and deciding to risk it all on a startup business. When you look at it like that, it makes so much more sense and the movie is a 10.
They don't seem to get it. The effects and fantasy elements you could see in any fucking movie at any time. It's the fact that it's a slob comedy that makes it special. This is why AFTERLIFE didn't work; it was misunderstood by the people making it. The comedy is the first thing, not the fantasy elements.
I'm surprised the conversation didn't go like this: BILLY: "The only name I know for sure is 'Egon'. That's the only one I'm confident about it." BILL MURRAY: "Nice shootin', Tex!" BILLY: "Oh, I was wrong. He name is 'Tex'."
Actually, Stay Puft Marshmallows were created AFTER the movie. They are still available for purchase today. (You'll have to look them up on-line). Note: PG-13 rating began 7/1/1984. GB release 6/8/84. (i.e.: no PG13 rating available at the time). So PG or R. (This is not R).
This really wasn't made with kids in mind. This was from the creative team behind Animal House, Meatballs, and Stripes. If you look at some of the deleted scenes and the original script, there were way more sex jokes that didn't make it to the screen. However, those of us who were kids at the time latched onto this movie hard, partially because of the cartoon adaptation the Real Ghostbusters, which was a better cartoon than it had any right to be. I was one of many kids who was scared of the dark and refused to go to bed unless I had my toy proton pack next to me to fight off ghosts.
Yes, you said what I just said a few minutes ago, but a month earlier. GHOSTBUSTERS and its 1989 sequel are first and foremost slob comedies influenced heavily by the National Lampoon, SCTV and SNL. Obviously, the won't understand the context, but they don't seem to realize that the fantasy elements are not what makes this movie great, it's the juxtaposition between the heaviness of the stakes and the lowbrow antics of the characters.
I always loved the 2nd one just as much as this. Ghostbusters 2016 is ok for what it is. Shouldn't be called Ghostbusters imo. GB Afterlife was good for resurrecting the brand and if we are all honest Frozen Empire was lackluster at best. Still I enjoy all these movies cuz imo you're not really a fan of you can't take the good and the bad.
I enjoyed GB2 when it came out, and I'll re-watch it from time to time because it does have some good scenes (of course I own the 4K discs for both), but I am one of those that don't think it's even close to the epic film that is GB1. GB:A and GB:FE were also fun and stand well enough on their own.
5:50 - Hey, he's a Dean and his last name is Yeager. What's so strange about that?? Sheesh. 🤣 Ghostbusters was one of - if not THE - first big budget special effects comedies. It was a HUGE smash and those of us who grew up in the 70s/80s absolutely ate it up.
Edit: Turns out I was mistaken about the budget. I seem to recall hearing that the budget was tight. And, while the special effects fit the goofy nature of the film, they weren't really cutting edge in any way. They were well done, and used very well to service the story. But they were pretty simple, actually. Corridor Crew did a reaction, and they respected the craftsmanship. But, they pointed out how they were mostly pretty basic techniques. I'm not bashing on the movie. It's one of my favorites. It holds together, and it's a lot of fun.
@@MightyDrakeC I appreciate the spirit in which you intended this but I wonder where you're coming by your information. Ghostbusters (1984) had a budget of $30M...a full $11M more than Back to the Future, which came out less than a year AFTER.

The possessed Taxi driver is now a Uber driver but NOTHING has changed. Admit it Millennial New Yorkers, the driver could be possessed but y'all wouldn't even notice it due to your eyes being on your phone. 😂
One of my favorite funny moments in this movie: Egon: Well, let’s say this Twinkie represents the normal amount of psychokinetic energy in the New York area. According to this morning’s sample, it would be a Twinkie…35 feet long weighing approximately 600 pounds. Ray coughs in surprise- Winston: That's a BIG Twinkie 😂😂
It's endlessly hilarious that the key master keeps locking himself out of his own apartment. I never noticed the irony as a kid. I don't blame Rick Moranis for giving up the business for his family. He gave us so many amazing memories.
As someone who saw this movie in the theater, when I was 7, I cant convey to you how many times I've watched it, and How often I quote it. Like "Nice shootin' Tex" when someone misses a shot, or when someone says Oh no, I respond with, "What did you do Ray?". As many times as I've seen this movie every time I watch it I find something new. Definitely watch the sequels 2 is not as good, but still fun, Afterlife is AMAZING, Frozen Empire is Great, the reboot is even worth a look, as long as you realize it is completely separate from all the others.
I was only a couple years older when I saw GB in the theaters and I have the same reactions to missed shots and people saying "on no" - LOL When I make a mistake or do something boneheaded I'll say "The flowers are still standing". "They go up" is used in reference to stairs all the time. Other lines that I've used in conversation over the years "Back off man, I'm a scientist" "This reminds me of the time you tried to drill a whole through your head" "Yes, have some" "Mother puss bucket" "I'm in the middle of something here Ray", etc. etc. 😁

I really enjoy it when you take a look at these older classics. Ghostbusters was a formative film for me growing up and I've seen it too many times to count. Billy was a fun guest, maybe have him back for Ghostbusters 2? So, funny story about the guy at 14:02 ...He was just a random dude who wandered onto set while they were filming this scene. They thought it was hilarious and left him in.
I was born the year it was released in theaters, so I didn't get a chance to watch it until a few years later on a friday/Saturday movie night and recorded it on vhs. That scene of Ray getting ducked off by a ghost was cut so I didn't know it existed until I upgraded to a dvd version in a double pack with at the time the only sequel to the original. (It was the late 90's/early 2000's, so the other sequels and the video game many consider to be the true ghostbusters 3 until Afterlife was released weren't even a thing yet.) Highly reccomend you play the video game BTW, especially after watching Ghostbusters 2. The easter eggs and the lore expansion as well as the game play are just all amazing elements for nostalgic gerks/nerds.
I think studios in the 80’s knew that parents were more permissive/absent (i.e., kids were seeing these movies anyway), so marketed toys for non-kids movies to kids all the time.
Yeah it was a great flick in the theatre back in the day.. Everyone was hyped for it and it was off the back of this that we discovered the team of Reitman, Ramis and Murray having worked together on another equally silly pre-Ghostbusters movie called STRIPES. Thinking back, at this point it was only four or five years after ALIEN so Sigourney was still pretty fresh in the movie world when she was attached to this project.
From what he's said about revisiting roles, we're lucky we even got him in Ghostbusters 2. Seems like a quick cameo appearance would be a nice quick paycheck and a bit of a thank you to your fans but everyone has their own deal.
This opened the same night as "Gremlins" and beat it out at the box office everywhere but New York where they were so pissed off at how the shoot tied up traffic no one wanted to see it. Saw it when it came out in '84 in 70mm and was confused why these comedy greats were doing a big special effects movie. P.S. Angelina you look FANTASTIC!
One of the flicks where you just had to be there! Ghostbusters is super amusing, enjoyable and a classic. It’s kind of a light hearted low key horror flick that’s far more comical than scary.
It was definitely not just a "had to be there", my kid is 21 and he loves this movie, as do a lot of younger people. Most other reactors also love it.....these 2 just talked through basically all of it, so they missed the good stuff
Ivo Shandor is actually a pretty pivotal character in GB lore. I highly recommend GB1,GB2, and GB the video game for a true trilogy before GB: Afterlife.
Saw it in the theater when it came out. (My parents ALSO thought it was a family friendly movie.) I LOVED this movie, and I must have seen it dozens of times since.
I watched this as a kid in the 1990s cause my mom thought I wasn't old enough for horror movies at the time. I hated it back then cause all of the jokes went over my head. I like it a lot more now that I'm older.
FUN FACTS: The ghost floating over Ray was played by the late Kym Herrin. She was in ZZ Top's Legs music video and also appeared at the beginning of the 1984 Robert Zemeckis film, Romancing The Stone. Guess what her character's name was in that movie!
It wasn't initially made for kids, but it became popular with them leading to the sequel being toned down as well as spawning an animated series/toys/video game ETC.
The guy who keeps getting locked out of his apartment is Rick Moranis. If you haven't already seen it, you should watch him in the 1986 version of Little Shop of Horrors, an absolutely wonderful (and very funny) horror musical, with a great supporting role for Steve Martin.
This was hilarious! Been watching the movies since I was a kid! Both of y'all need to watch the 2nd, the one with the all girl team, and the 2 current sequels! But you two collaborating together was hilarious 😂 I enjoyed it!
This was followed by three sequels, two animated shows, videogames and a loose remake. The main cast in this previously starred in Stripes, Heavy Metal, Caddyshack and Trading Places. Other notable films that released the same year as this include Gremlins, The Terminator, A Nightmare on Elm Street, Temple of Doom, Beverly Hills Cop, Red Dawn and Conan the Destroyer
This is an entertaining flick. It is said that the university they were working in is called Miskatonic U. The one mentioned in the HP Lovecraft novels.
I know I'm a little late posting my comment, but this was a childhood favourite and I was born in the year this movie was released. 7.5 out of 10 you broke my heart Angelina.
"They're almost real names." Egon is a common first name in Germany, and Jaeger (or rather, Jäger) is also a German word. As a German, I feel attacked. (Just kidding, I know you were probably just joking around XD) Also, as a kid, the Ghostbusters were one third of my childhood. Spider-Man didn't really interest me at all back then.
I saw this in the theater as a child, and was sooo scared by that first ghost I hid under the seats for almost the rest of the whole movie. My parents were sooo pissed off that the general attitude of the day was YEA SURE TAKE YOUR LIL KIDS- ITS GREAT! (wrong). It took a lot of convincing but later during the movie they told me it wasn’t scary anymore like 5 or six times and I started watching again when it was almost over 😮
Young'uns, we watched this joint on repeat. I do like Ghostbusters II more, but I'm in the minority. As for the rating, we were built different. The cast and writing team (Dan "Ray" Akroyd and Harold "Egon" Ramis) are OG SNL and National Lampoons veterans. So this is the same comedy strain that produced Animal House. So it's an adult comedy brought down to tasteful for all audiences. Venkman was originally going to be Jim Belushi before he passed. Slimer is the ghost of Jim Belushi in tribute. If you go back and watch Tiny Toons and Animaniacs, those were cartoons that were laced with adult comedy. Which is why there are only like three Minerva Mink shorts. Ghostbusters is thought of as kid friendly because of the wildly successful cartoon and the equally popular merch line as Billy said. But keep in mind that Robocop also had a lot of toys and a cartoon. They didn't give a fuck in the 80s and we were the beneficiaries.
YES! ANGELINA YES!!! You gotta watch Ghostbusters 2 for certain... The others... You can if you want but you AT LEAST have to watch Part 2. For real. Love your work Angelina Ghostbusters is CLASSIC. You gotta keep up the great work. PLEASE!
$5 then is about $20 nowadays. A good example is that would be worth about 5 gallons of gas. So ghostbusters and ghostbusters 2 are must see movies. Both top notch. Everything after that well...
In the scene where Dana gets grabbed on the chair and dragged into the kitchen, the people grabbing her were initially awkward about where they would grab until she took one of their hands and put it on her chest herself, to show it was okay
Growing up in the 80's there was a cartoon called The Real Ghostbusters it ran for 10 seasons and was set between ghostbusters 1 & 2 I'd watch it all the time and when I was 8 I finally got to watch this film on VHS and literally a week later my Dad took me to see Ghostbusters 2 at the theater Great times the cartoon and the original movie was popular with kids my age and the films are timeless. The 2nd film is not as good but has a huge place in my heart. Definitely watch it and the later sequels Afterlife and Frozen Empire as they follow on from the originals. Ghostbusters 2016 that was a reboot that failed because it was trash.
Regarding this as a kids movie…kids were not the original target audience . However, it was such a huge success that TV stations would air it with the inappropriate scenes & language cut out. I think this is how most kids at the time (myself included) were introduced to the movie. Then they made a Saturday morning cartoon which skewed the demographic toward kids
You're hitting so many movies right now that make me so glad my mom brought me to the library when I was a kid.. I rented sooo many of these. I don't think I'm making this up, but my memory from the commentary is that Bill Murray not being covered in marshmallow at the end is because he flat refused to get that messy. I don't think it had anything to do with the kiss
Sounds legit, considering Bill Murray was a little 'difficult' on set. But it would imply that Venkman took cover before the others, by chickening out from crossing the streams a little early ...

John Candy I believe was also supposed to be in this movie
@@deathmetal271 Oh, I had forgotten the name came from the cartoon!
@@blazinjedi2008 the Louis Tully character was written for him. He turned it down after a conversation with the director of how to portray the character.
@@cixelsyd40 thank you. I couldn't remember who he was supposed to be
The comedy in this movie is gold. There are so many subtle funny moments. In the elevator when Ray says "Switch me on" and the rest of them back away to the corners of the elevator. Hilarious.
“Where do these stairs go?”
“They go up.”
Unfortunately they talked through pretty much every one of them
This movie isn't about ghosts.
No, no. The elephant in the room is that AWESOME arcade Pac-Man game behind y'all. *much jealous, so envy*
And quite appropriate for this movie
St Jerome was the patron saint of librarians, archaeologists, archivists. He translated the Bible from Hebrew Greek and Aramaic into Latin
“Ghostbusters” came out in 1984. However, “Alien” came out in 1979
Nope, Alien came out in 1979, Aliens came out in 1986 two years after Ghostbusters.
@@tabxtra7057 I meant “Alien”. Stupid autocorrect.
Thanks, I was wondering why she said 1979.
Watched Ghostbusters 1 and 2 over and over when I was a kid. TMNT 1 and 2 as well. 🐢
I'm surprised the conversation didn't go like this:
BILLY: "The only name I know for sure is 'Egon'. That's the only one I'm confident about it."
BILL MURRAY: "Nice shootin', Tex!"
BILLY: "Oh, I was wrong.
Winston: "Tell him about the Twinkie..."
Venkman:" What about the Twinkie??" 😂
Definitely watch Ghostbusters 2. Though fair warning, some people don't like it as much as GB1, but it's still got some iconic stuff.
They didn't like this one. 🤦♂️
Peter Macnicol is a cultural treasure of our civilisation
Sheesh. 🤣
Ghostbusters was one of - if not THE - first big budget special effects comedies.
@@Pixelologist Interesting. I had heard a couple of times that the budget wasn't large. It's been a while, so I don't remember specifically where I got that. Now I know better. Thanks
@@MightyDrakeC I am a big fan of sci-fi, fantasy, and horror movies. I was 11 when GB came out. I read magazines and watched "making of" presentations whenever I could, so I was familiar with green screens, composite shots, make-up/prosthetics, models, miniatures, stop motion, and other movie magic techniques, and it's my peronal opinion that GB's special FX were mind blowing at that time. YMMV
To think that this is your first collaboration on a movie with another reactor since your Karate Kid Reaction with TimotheeReacts and It’s Totally Cody two years ago.
The possessed Taxi driver is now a Uber driver but NOTHING has changed. Admit it Millennial New Yorkers, the driver could be possessed but y'all wouldn't even notice it due to your eyes being on your phone. 😂
One of my favorite funny moments in this movie:
Egon: Well, let’s say this Twinkie represents the normal amount of psychokinetic energy in the New York area. According to this morning’s sample, it would be a Twinkie…35 feet long weighing approximately 600 pounds.
Ray coughs in surprise-
Winston: That's a BIG Twinkie
😂😂
Yeah this reaction just didn't work. And Dean isn't his name, it's his TITLE and Yeager is his last name.
2 good things that are not great together.....at least for a reaction, the podcast might be fun
It's endlessly hilarious that the key master keeps locking himself out of his own apartment. I never noticed the irony as a kid. I don't blame Rick Moranis for giving up the business for his family. He gave us so many amazing memories.
Billy: That's my boy (Rick Moranis)! I don't know what his name is...
🤣
Other lines that I've used in conversation over the years "Back off man, I'm a scientist" "This reminds me of the time you tried to drill a whole through your head" "Yes, have some" "Mother puss bucket" "I'm in the middle of something here Ray", etc. etc. 😁
It hurts me to hear "ghostbusters" and "old timey movies" in the same sentence.
Yeah, my brain immediately said, "but this isn't a black-and-white film..."

Winston's part was initially written with Eddie Murphy in mind to continue the reunion of "Saturday Night Live" alumni. Timing didn't work out for him.
I love Ernie Hudson in this, but I desperately want to see the alternate reality where Eddie Murphy plays Winston.
@@oscardiggs246 I have a list of alternate universes I want bootleg copies of movies from. On it are, the alternate universe where George Lucas succeeded in casting Toshiro Mifune as Obi-Wan Kenobi as he originally planned. And an R-rated Jurassic Park that followed the book more closely.
5:46 "Jäger" is a real name. It is German for "Hunter".
6:15 Why shouldn't they be drinking on the campus? It's a university, not kindergarten. Well, the US might be different...
18:28 It is a family friendly movie. We kids from the 80s loved it. Sex in films was totally normal to us.
🙂
with the college my sisters at, their ra goes through the dorms to make sure they don’t have alcohol. i think it’s due to the fact that alcohol is 21+ while not all students are above 21? i don’t really know the reason lol
@@jodie9392 My days! That sounds like a youth detention center rather than a college to me, especially considering that here in Austria the drinking age is 16 (in the company of a legal guardian it is even only 14).
I also reckon that drinking in public (in this case outside on the campus) isn't allowed either in most of your states. How crazy it that??? 😱
That's definitely a different idea of a student's life compared to Europe. 🍺🍷🍸🍹😁
OMG YAY I CANT BELIEVE YOU GUYS ARE BOTH WATCHING THIS
That's what I thought too and then shut it off 15 minutes in when they couldn't stop talking at all
boo they're stupid
26:45 "Can't they just eat him?"
Let me explain, so those are 4 human-sized.. humans. And that marshmallow man stands as tall as a skyscraper. I'm thinking no?
(It was the late 90's/early 2000's, so the other sequels and the video game many consider to be the true ghostbusters 3 until Afterlife was released weren't even a thing yet.)
Highly reccomend you play the video game BTW, especially after watching Ghostbusters 2. The easter eggs and the lore expansion as well as the game play are just all amazing elements for nostalgic gerks/nerds.
I've never seen anyone complaining about Sigourney Weaver being in sexy poses so much... What has this world came to?
It's absolutely a kids movie. I watched this in the cinema at single digits. Things were different back then.
I think studios in the 80’s knew that parents were more permissive/absent (i.e., kids were seeing these movies anyway), so marketed toys for non-kids movies to kids all the time.
You have just witnessed my all time favorite movie. You should react to Ghostbusters II, Ghostbusters: Afterlife and Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire.
I thoroughly enjoy Stripes. It's been awhile since I've seen it. Guess I should fire it up.
"I had a car waiting..."
80s movies? The Goonies should be at the top of that list.
i’d totally watch the goonies!!!
@@ANGELINAA it's 100% your vibe.
OMG Goonies is my jam!
"Where's this movie based at?" "Ummm... I'm trying to see if I know the Hall" as they show the iconic statue on Columbia University. 🤦♂
Angelina: (calls Ghostbusters an "old timey" movie)
Me: (crumbles to dust)
Rick Moranis (sad keymaster guy) was so brilliant and I’m so sad that circumstances led to him leaving acting. I could have used another 10 movies.
From what he's said about revisiting roles, we're lucky we even got him in Ghostbusters 2. Seems like a quick cameo appearance would be a nice quick paycheck and a bit of a thank you to your fans but everyone has their own deal.
Only a 7! this film is is a gem! Appreciate it's a bit of an acquired taste, but the script and dialogue is golden!
They missed basically all of the dialogue as they couldn't stop talking to take any of it in
This opened the same night as "Gremlins" and beat it out at the box office everywhere but New York where they were so pissed off at how the shoot tied up traffic no one wanted to see it.
Casual smoking and blow job jokes in a kids movie? Welcome to the 80s.
"Old Timey movies".... I paused. I'll come back. My old timey heart needs to recover. 😂
Gotta watch Honey, I Shrunk the Kids or Spaceballs or Little Shop of Horrors to see more of "the little guy"
And all great movies
Ivo Shandor is actually a pretty pivotal character in GB lore. I highly recommend GB1,GB2, and GB the video game for a true trilogy before GB: Afterlife.
Saw it in the theater when it came out. (My parents ALSO thought it was a family friendly movie.) I LOVED this movie, and I must have seen it dozens of times since.
2:40 I’ve made that mistake, too, Billy. Young Bill Murray and young Tom Hanks look similar to me, too.
THERE IS NO KIDS' MOVIE, ONLY ZUUUUUUUUUL!
😂😂😂
27:20 fun fact: after the “slimer” incident at the start of the movie, Bill Murray refused to get covered by anything else in the movie.
Im not a fan of short hair on women, but the secretary in these was so fine.
This was hilarious! Been watching the movies since I was a kid! Both of y'all need to watch the 2nd, the one with the all girl team, and the 2 current sequels! But you two collaborating together was hilarious 😂 I enjoyed it!
A classic
Saw this in theater when I was only 9. Loved it
Another bit of trivia. The guy who kept locking himself out of his own apartment, when he becomes the Keymaster every door just flies open for him. J.
One of the inspirations for this movie was a horror comedy from 1940 called "The Ghost Breakers".
This is an entertaining flick. It is said that the university they were working in is called Miskatonic U. The one mentioned in the HP Lovecraft novels.
This is a classic comedy. You can skip the next two but try Ghostbusters: Afterlife. You don't need to see the other two to appreciate it.
My childhood memory is getting my mum to rent this on vhs every week for months.
00:26 Everyone hates you, Angelina. And everyone also loves you. That's just how charming you are. ❤
I know I'm a little late posting my comment, but this was a childhood favourite and I was born in the year this movie was released. 7.5 out of 10 you broke my heart Angelina.
I think if they actually watched it rather than talking through basically the whole thing, they would have liked it more
I hope you two will watch Ghostbusters II, Ghostbusters Afterlife and Frozen Empire, too.
I noticed you skipped right over that-which-must-not-be-named. 👍
Most of the actors were comedians who later became writers and directors.
I was a goofy kid with glasses and looked up to Egon the genuine adult with glasses. Lol
Knowingly watches a movie called GHOSTbusters, forgets it’s about ghosts.🤣
Murray had a deal. He got slimed by Slimer, but didn't get marshmallowed by Staypuft.
"They're almost real names."
Egon is a common first name in Germany, and Jaeger (or rather, Jäger) is also a German word. As a German, I feel attacked.
(Just kidding, I know you were probably just joking around XD)
Also, as a kid, the Ghostbusters were one third of my childhood. Spider-Man didn't really interest me at all back then.
Yes way back then we werent little crybabies
Another old timey film to watch for Halloween would be Elvira Mistress of the Dark
I saw this in the theater as a child, and was sooo scared by that first ghost I hid under the seats for almost the rest of the whole movie. My parents were sooo pissed off that the general attitude of the day was YEA SURE TAKE YOUR LIL KIDS- ITS GREAT! (wrong). It took a lot of convincing but later during the movie they told me it wasn’t scary anymore like 5 or six times and I started watching again when it was almost over 😮
Refer to the 80's as "Old Timey" again and we gonna have issues! 😆🤣
PLEASE!
13:25 79? FYI visual effects. Special effects actually happen in front of the camera like real explosions.
$5 then is about $20 nowadays. A good example is that would be worth about 5 gallons of gas. So ghostbusters and ghostbusters 2 are must see movies. Both top notch. Everything after that well...
'This is how dudes act when they want to sleep with you?' Tacitly assumed, but refreshing to actually hear this.
Great vid, but this flick, not unlike Back to The Future, is perfect. 10/10. Perfect film.
The Alien movies (all four even though I was like 14), The Terminators, The Ghostbusters, Scream, ET, Beetlejuice
You should allllso watch The Predator Movies 👍👍 at least the first 2
and then keep surprising me with movies I haven't thought about for 5 - 10+ years xD
This is the first movie I saw on VHS. Santa rented it for us to watch on our new VCR.
Nutty Professor in the house.
