Almost a month later and I am still very chuffed with this car. Any excuse just to drive it. Even to the shops and back. This is the best budget car to buy IMO.
I have a very tight budget. And I’m planning to buy my first car. I believe Suzuki is very reliable overall and when I checked this car’s price in Dubai, I was positively surprised. Cause I can actually buy a brand new car with zero technical issue directly from Suzuki stores rather than spending much more on a car which has already hit 60-70k km. This is literally on my list at this moment :)
My student car (1988-1992) was a Yellow/white CiTi SPORT with bucket seats and went and sounded the part. Problem was it had crap brakes even then. But it handled like a real sports car.
Thanks for the review Juliet! My first car was the older shape Suzuki Swift 1.5 GLS. Got it new and drove it for almost 10 years +- 120k Km. Its really a great car, but I personally don't like the new shape at all!

hi @julietmcguire. I am in the market for a new car. Options are a Swift or a Baleno. Want to buy new. Swift GLX of Baleno GL. What would you buy between the two? On paper the Baleno looks like a better buy but I love the way the Swift drives. Will be used for mainly town driving. Occasional longer drives(max 400km). What should I spend my money on?

Juliet I hope you read this😊 I paused the video instantly and you are 100% right. I bought my Suzuki 1.4 GLS (previous shape) because of your review specifically. Your reviews are relatable, well thought out, cover everything necessary and fun. Btw you are right the Swift is in desperate need of a 6th gear. Peace and love❤️ All the best girl

I fell in love with the Suzuki Swift Sport when I first went for a test drive...I was smiling the whole drive...
I am taking delivery of a Swift tomorrow Juliet. Your video made up my mind. Am so excited.

Please do a review on the new Hyundai i10,i20
@juliet, i'm waiting for your review on the new suzuki swift 2024.
How's the Suzuki Swift AMT?
When are you.reviewing the new model? Thanks
Can you please review the Hyundai Atos

Would you recommend the Suzuki Swift over the S presso?
Yes, definitely!
Yes yes yes 100 times yes
Thank you 😊😊
I just wish it had more airbags.
This Suzuki great, I'll choose it over a Ford Figo
The problem with the Ford Figo is that it does not have value for money
Hmm. I think the Figo’s Titanium 1.5 is a far more drivers oriented car.. but love Suzuki’s swift.. especially the older 1.5..
Ugh, I hate small cars. Safety usually seems to be an issue and I hate that they're prone to being blown around when there's a breeze on the freeway.
My Swift is solid on the highway and super economical. On the highway at 120 - 125 km/ h. Or driving in town... average 5.7 litres/ 100 km.

Would you recommend this above a polo vivo comfortline?
polo vivo better for highway

Juliet drives this...
Juliet drives that...
Juliet drives me crazy !!
😂
If you had to choose between the 2021 Swift and the Ignis which one would you get? I'm having a hard time deciding after both your reviews.
I had the same conundrum. Got ignis. Here in India, i got ignis for a better price than swift and also more features.
Swift
Hey Juliet. We are eagerly awaiting your review of the NEW Swift... :)
Ahhhh it only launches the beginning of November! But I can tell you already that it is FAB!
Can we maybe take a moment to talk about the elephant in the room, the 1 star Global NCAP safety rating of the Suzuki/Maruti Swift?
And now for something really completly different the larch
Id like to hear your review on the new Haval Jolion.

Nice
Nice and entertaining review
But it would be just as good/better if you didn't swear
I want to write a commercial for Suzuki. A jungle

How is the build quality and the sheet metal ?
Build quality is good. Nothing came loose after 2.5y. Sheet panels are thin but well aligned
