Insurance via Hollard insurance(Got it via a car insurence broker) Is R1540 with no Basic excess. Full Tank on a Huge petrol increase Doesn't even reach ZAR 900. The key to owning the car is having a reputable RMI approved mechanic who can do all repair work on it once the service plan is done, and it will save you Thousands of rands.
There's a space under the floor for the emergency triangle in the Ignis, should be in the Swift too. Under the floor there's like two things on either side that hold it in place once the floor is down. It sits just right of the spare wheel.
Get your car checked out mate that's too high especially for a swift bro. My 2006 polo facelift did better figures than that and ain't no way polo will be more efficient than a swift.

I've honestly never experienced any Mazda product, so I can't really say, but the Swift really is good...the Mazda seems like a more premium car I guess? At least from afar...
