- I have a stock of scrap Ford V8 big block pistons that i was given some time ago. Every now and again i like to take one from the pile and carve it into a skull. This is my latest and greatist so far.

Hell yeah mate noice work im so glad i found yr channel
Thanks for the lesson
Turned out really cool
sweet work man polishing is an art and since cast alloy isnt too pure you have done a great job i suggest if you want to go further with it grab some diamond paste in different grits you will get it to as shiny as possible for cast
Thanks. Yeah ive avoided polishing in general for ages favoring a brushed or satin finish. Some things just look better shiny though. I could do with a second set of mops so i have ones for steel and one set for aluminium.
I have a Piston head and shaft from a top methol dragster with etched run times- my girlfriend loves it hahaha, nope 😅
WOW!!
Looks really cool, did you use some template to make your marks with the marker? I'm looking to make my first one but want to have a template to go off of.
That looks Awesome Mate 💀👍😃
Thanks man 👍
Looks amazing pal, what piston is it and where would i go to source one? Would love to give it a go
These are put of a ford big block V8. I was given a few scrap ones from a friend who builds hotrods.
Also what did you you for a polish wheel and what polish?
How long does it take to build?
