Hi mate are you using an Headux 188 welder as it looks like it and if so how has it been as been looking at these for a while to replace my esabs

Almost no spattering , and no problems!

If it is very dirty and greasy, you can wash it in special automotive degreaser.
This can be purchased in metal shops or auto materials stores.
