      Yes, they reseed themselves and have returned to this spot in my garden for at least 5 years now.

      @@marimartinez5941 They are annual but they make lots of seeds that fall to the ground and grow next year.

      Cleome spinosa is edible but very bitter. Cleome gynandra tastes much better.

    Hey, I am currently growing some of them in my garden. Can I ask you how long does it take for those flowers to bloom? I was hoping them to bloom in the time of our incoming Lunar New Year, but my plants seem a little small. Thank you

      they flower very quickly after reaching 2 feet or so. If you cut the 1st flower after it fully opens, it will form branches and you'll have 3 or 4 flowers per plant.The leaves and flowers are edible and full of nutrients. They have an unusual taste that will grow on you. Thanks!!
