The reason why you can’t frontside overcrook is because you have to pinch a front nosegrind to lock in on a rail. And you can’t overcrook a ledge bc it’s literally just a nosegrind. But backside on a ledge it’s 2 different tricks same on a rail. If we decide to be psycho and balance every single nosegrind on a rail then we can call it overcrook until then it’s just a nosegrind.
the fault in this logic is that if you HAVE to pinch in order to lock in a nosegrind then logically, there would be no reason for Fs or Bs Krooks OR overcrooks.. they would all essentially just be pinched Nose grinds

Like think about it how would we classify the difference between overcrook & nosegrind if it looks the exact same? Like “oh he didn’t get enough angle it’s just a nosegrind” ? Easier to just do away with it altogether. At the end of the day I go by the old way of thinking bc it makes more sense to me.
