- The Deland Train Show at Volusia County Fair Grounds in January is their biggest and best of the entire year with two buildings of venders and train layouts. This year was no exception
January 13 & 14 2024 is when this event takes place. We were there on Saturday and had a great time seeing a lot of friends and meeting new ones.
Spent more money than I wanted to spend, but isn't that what this hobby is all about! Train Show Hayl will be reveiled on the Monday Noght Live Stream with a few more video clips of trains as a sneak peek of the next video of the train show coming out later in the week

I love watching trainshow videos its such a treasure hunt. Most of the shows local to me never have that much selection. And I spotted some American Flyer in there too!
This shoe in January is the best of all the shows in Florida. Most of them are much smaller
Nice to see you up and about spend more than planned. But you got three Bar Mills kits.
Thanks Steve, actually 4 Bar Mills Kits, one in the plastic box, an oldie. lol
I opted not to go to this one, but my group did go. I only saw one fellow early in the video. Good job!
You missed a good one
great to see you up and getting around . ill catch up with you on the monday night stream .
Thank you so much. Glad to finally get to another train show
Marx guy here, I was hoping you would go under the table for bargains in the parts boxes. " Don`t Overlook the Junk". Marx at 8:08, now I`m happy.
Always get the good stuff under the tables
Great seeing you out an about and having a good time. Looks like nice haul and I saw some really good prices there too.
Thanks so much. had a great time with Debbie and got some pretty good deals
The vendor row looked good. I usually stack my wallet with only so much so I have a cut off on spending. It can get high real quick.
I do the same, but I saw those 3 Bar Mills kits after I spent my budget, so I had to hit the ATM. Couldn't pass them up
When Goin To A Train shows you Can Never Spend Enough at a Train Show.
That's what ATM's are for
Looks like a great show Tom.
It was! The january show is always the best
Hey Brother didn’t want to ruin such a nice Like Number buddy
No Problem
Very nice video. That one kit manufacturer against the wall had nice models, but NO signs telling who they were. A could also find no list of vendors online. Too bad. A show like this can generate residual sales.
A lot of the vendors at these show only selll at shows and have no online presence. I usually pick up business cards from the vendors when available
One of thee days I'll put a list of them n my web site
hi was not able to go
It was a good one
Hi Tom how do you feel
Feeling great. Thank you for the kit for Debbie's layout, she loves it!
Will you be at the Villages show in February?
I sure will
@@TomsTrainsandThings I’ll be there on Saturday!
Too fast on O gauge tables
They all like fast trains
