Thanks so much for making this video. I lived on Wivell Drive as a child before my family emigrated to Canada. It was great seeing the place I was from.
Great video. When you come to Laceby my Grandad is a fountain of ultimate knowledge. He was born in the village and has lived here for all 78 years of his life. He was also the Chairman of the Parish Council for 42 years. If you want to learn about Laceby, he’s your guy.
fantastic one thanks Andy yes another for me my ancestors wre west lindsey and north lincs, will you be visiting kingerby a abondoned village but if you love the quiet its heaven and the church is ancient i'm working on a piece of my history from their at the minute as their buried in the church yard and have a famous connection in history
Interesting walk around the village. My parents moved there at the end of 1978. That new build is going to be a Co-op from what I was told and also a new medical centre I believe.
The construction site on South street is to be a lincolnshire cooperative food store. Built with a new propsed and approved plan for 80 more residential properties behind the coop also to include a new doctors surgery.
They'll come eventually, but this was one of those "I can catch it while I'm up there" types of videos. They will absolutely 100% get a video though, both of them. They are both parishes :D
