To take off the crank pulley, I used a 1/2 inch impact with 1,200 ft/lb loosening torque with a harmonic balancer socket and it took it right off. Initially, I tried it with a 3/8 inch impact with 600 ft/lb loosening torque but it wouldn't budge. I now have a new 1/2 impact for tough jobs ($200 spent).

no way to know for sure. but if it’s got 154k it might be a good thing to do. good thing is you can do the water pump while your in there.

Your Honda is newer than 2006 so it has a system program called 'Maintenance Minder' (MM) built in to the vehicles computer system. If your Honda is equipped with a timing belt, your dashboard (where the speedemoter is) will show you when to change your timing belt. That same area that shows your mileage and Oil % ... it will change to a number code when maintenance is due. The code for changing the timing belt is B.4 . That will clearly display on your dashboard,....when it is time to schedule an appointment to get the timing belt changed.
During that service Honda service manual also says at that time to. Replace the Spark Plugs, Replace the Timing Belt, Inspect the Water Pump, Inspect Valve Clearance, Check the Parking Brake Adjustment. So there is no guessing "when should I change the timing belt". The maintenance minder system will tell you. There is no need to change it earlier than you should. I've not heard of anyone having problem if they followed the MM system. Honda no longer puts mileage or time intervals for maintenance in the owners manuals. They put their name (we know how dependable Hondas are and what the Honda name means) behind this system and say "If you want your car to last as long as possible... follow the Maintenance Minder" . I've seen some ppl get the timing belt code at 140k miles and other people at a little before 200k miles. Just depends on how you're driving it and how often and how many years you do or dont drive it. More than just mileage.

@@jephted.israelrene7397 I'm just hoping I didn't pass that code from showing up. Because I been changing my oil as soon as it reads 15% oil life.
