I’m trying to buy the bracket where the 8 mm Allen bolt goes through. The bolt hole 🕳️ stripped on me mechanic told me we can place the bolt with a bolt 3/8 of an inch longer so it can snug the pulley against the bracket or he said change the entire mount. He said rethreading the bolt hole would not be good since it’s a moving vibrating part of the engine what are your thoughts?

I've never done that water pump but wouldn't it be easier if I just pull out the whole water passage housing, replace the pump outside and then put everything back together of course with new seals ?

@ 3:50 I’m kinda confused here. To prevent fuse from blowing do I disconnect the battery or no?

Was changing my alternator and when I was almost finished and putting on the bottom bolt to the belt tensioner I fucking broke the bolt. now it’s stuck and so am I. I guess I gotta buy a new bracket or take that one off and extract that broken bolt. 😅 wish me luck
