If his body would let him Rafa would continue to play. It's not like Rafa didn't play through injury before. He cleared the hurdle with true grit & then some. Watching this battle with Kyrgios suddenly becomes a precious thing. This if anything shows what Rafa is made of. He always will be a fighter. Bravo Rafa.
Thats the most focused Ive ever seen Kyrgios, there was still the verbal diarrhoea ofcourse but certainly in the first part of the match he was looking dangerous with those whipping smashes back at Nadal. I think if Nick couldve kept composure thats how good he wouldve been all the time and easily wouldve been a top five player if not numero uno. It sounds like hes coming back finally next year but who knows if he'll be as good as he was first time around, especially now Sinner and Alcaraz have entered the scene to stop him getting to top spot. I feel like hes missed his chance now.
At the very beginning when Nick is winning, he plays very very well, a clear head, but when Nadal starts to run everything down and outplays him, even when Nick just doesn’t quite hit the ball correctly, he gets very annoyed very quickly. That’s when his mental downfall starts, even in this game, you can tell when he loses the game, not at the 23 minute of the video but about halfway through.
In a battle between Class vs temper, class always wins. Though kyrgios is a good talent, he always ruin his own chances. Nadal on the other hand, is one of the most respected player all around the world.
@@saccount8009the class Nadal still leads h2h 6-3. And this temper tantrum guy just couldn’t control himself and is always self distructing when losing.
@@miab4289 nadal was too scared to play kyrgios in wimbledon semi final 2022 and kyrgios was still foolish enough to play nadal in wimbledon 2019 when he went out clubbing/pub the night before and had suicidal thoughts
You did see them congratulating each other on good points right? Stop stirring bullshit. Yes they had a run in once or twice but they've also shown friendliness towards each other as well.
you need to study what is the meaning of a pusher first 🤣and if you want to see Nadal's attacking shots, take any season apart from 2015-16 and you will see how hard he hits the ball, he creates the pace of most of his matches, unless it is Federer / Del Potro etc. who have higher power in their shots

When talent doesn't find a brain to connect with, the result is characters like Kyrgios.
Amazing, thank you so much!

Isn't nadal well known for his gamesmanship?
Well from what you have said class doesn't always win. Kyrgios has beat nadal multiple times

اسف يا صاحبي ❤️❤️
Nadal is the greatest pusher of all time. Kyrgios doesn't like him so Kyrgios grunts when nadal grunts to make fun of him.

bro what nadal is not a pusher

Nadal is anything but a pusher. He’s a counter puncher. You’re an uneducated hater begging for attention.
No head vs. heart
Ahh Little Nicky, such a rascal
He is the best player, he could have won all slams..he didn't beca😮 he didn't manage the unfairness of the tour..,
Why no challenge when hawkeye is in use? This is bs.
I hate both of them
