When unicron said “cyclonus the warrior!” Hardshell made a pose like a warrior would, Sure skywarp would make sense but Hardshell was in the front and made a warrior like pose meanwhile skywarp just stood still.
I just want to imagine Emgo always keeping a hairdryer under his review table just in case he has trouble getting the heat rub sign to work.

I still don't get how he was reformatted from Skywarp and not Thundercracker.
Now people know why the first Generations figure had grey wings and horn-ears and wasn't all purple like the second version.

Really Cyclonus is one of my favorites from season three. When they made him for CW I had to get him. Also want to grab some other version when I have the extra cash.
Way back in like 2006 there was a classics2.0/universe versiob that came with his targetmaster Caliburst. I saw it in the store once, alas I was but a wee lad and unable to purchase it, and low and behold my despair as the very next day I went to procure it parent in tow, it had disappeared, presumably bought by another customer...

This is the year 2022. Remember back in 1986 I was wanting this guy so much. @Emgo316. Today I have bought the latest version of Cyclonus. No comparison to my deluxe class from (2007 ?). Really great engineering and quite huge. Thumbs up 👍🏽

I scored my Cyclonus in a lot. Darn, those wing replacements are expensive!! In the end, a little love and some toyhax love made him one of my favorite collection pieces!! Never got weapon replacements, but I love that the first departure from the original seekers had 'wings' that could be lost and replaced. One of the best!! Can't wait till my Ehobby Megs shows up to have them meet!

His vehicle mode is honestly pretty cool for a g1 toy
One thing about the old G1 toys, despite the lack of proportionate robot modes, like Wheeljack's gorilla arms or Cyclonus's boxing gloves, they had charm about them. Hell even Ironhide/Ratchet has some kind of fascination with their whatever they call a robot mode. That's what makes them great toys!
Awesome. Love the G1 reviews. Had him as a kid and is still in my collection. Wondering if there is anything in the original instructions that mention the movement of the fins in his fists? I know they can move in and out on either side of the fists but I don't remember anything about it when I was a kid.

Tbh I get your methodology for keeping comparisons within G1 but at the same time I would be interested in seeing them compared with what you consider the best modern version of the design; in this case I assume it would be the old deluxe

Does anybody know what caused the designs to change between G1 and the figures being offered now with tons more articulation? Different designers/artists? Different studio being bought up? Just a new direction directive from Hasbro/Takara themselves? When did that happen?

I used to have this figure! This is the first time I’ve seen him and the transformation in about 25 years! I used to LOVE this guy. I’m replacing my old transformer collection with the new ones. Can’t wait for my kingdom cyclonus to arrive muhahaha.
I kid you not, my mother gave many of my transformers to her boyfriends children. RIP.

As you are still getting new figures, what precautions and special procedures do you do when receiving a package for a new figure. Because, of course, sanitary reasons. I would like to see your response mostly to know how I can take precautions properly for new transformer figures.
