Yooo you are a King for actually showing some major headache-ing that comes with independently doing stuff and making your own custom stuff! It's crazy you had to go through all that but you did make the best decision for your company. I hope you and Riley can actually find a solution to your BEAST of a machine! You spent so much time on it I hope for the best!
That’s what I like about your shit is it’s not all good stuff posted cuz for real a lot of us don’t show the bads only the goods cuz it’s a good feeling but shit like this can help who knows how many people Thanks for all the info throughout the years and can’t wait to see more fails and how you overcome that shit 🙏🏾
Ryonet changes their product line so quickly, they gotta focus more on quality. All these presses need to pass rigorous testing, they are spitting out new presses way too fast. They need to take a deep breath and really make sure these presses actually register.
This happens when the CAD borderlines prototype fantasyland. I really wanted that thing to work, but it screamed kitbash meets cnc plasma the instant I saw it😂(in a sense of will it perform better than another top of the line manual from them) They most likely cut a corner on alloy meets torque hold-down or uneven weight distribution under load somewhere...this is usually the culprit when things start shakin on the road.... Quick question though: When you smacked the side of a dropped screen to cite reg jump, did you try dropping all heads with screens simulataneously to see if they did the same with one smack on a single dropped screen(?) This would mean it isn't actually or solely the head design, but may be related to hub assembly itself... I like Vastex V2000 design for manual. I didn't take much for me to make that choice and I personally haven't seen anything elsewhere that would change my mind.
Sorry to hear that bro! I have been suckered buying 2 presses from them that suck! sold one and in the process of selling the other, and those were both their production models.
Must’ve been so gutting man. As always though, you take it on the chin and get going again. Back to the OG until the custom is ready to rock! Just a bump in the road dude! Good to see you back. Hope all is well buddy 👊🏻
Just as a heads up - we have the 350 and had this exact problem. We fixed it by making the press square to itself which should've been done at factory and wasn't. We use heavy, standard eco frames, 23x31 and basically had to re-plane our entire press when it got here, including pulling all the reg pins and then making sure all the arms were level by hand. Absolutely un-needed as a $17k press that came from factory screwed up, but i'm here to tell you that your press isn't just "moving on every reg" and it's really just not setup properly. If yours is being sent back from warranty, then I should be able to get the same treatment but to my unfortunate circumstance Instead ryonet told me to pull all the pins, relevel the press, and sort the problem out myself.
@@leestuart38 We had the same issue, and fixed it. It's not the print heads, it's the setup. We have a smaller press, heavier screens, and the same base. we have the same print heads and we solved the issue.
@@alpineprintcompany3704 I just bought a Riley 360 and think I'm having the same issue as you. Could you explain how you releveled your press. Can't seem to find any detailed info from Ryonet or anyone else. Would really appreciate it. I'll Venmo you!
Not on the current 300 because I have the auto, it's only going to be use for light duty stuff. I did put side clamps on my old 300 though. There's a video on my channel about it.
Ah dude that sucks to see but to honest I’m glad that was the reason for the disappearance and not something worse! Keep up the great videos and I bet that press will sort out soon. 🤜💥🤛
That sucks big time but it speaks volumes to Ryonets customer service. Thats why i have a ryonet press its the one thing i own that i have zero issues with when i need help.
Dang that sucks. Well things do happen, especially if it’s at one off press. Hey worse comes to worse you can always hang that carousel on the wall. Keep grinding my man ✌️
Honestly wtf, it feels like everything that could go wrong in 2022 have gone wrong... I can say this even for me and a lot of people. Another year to forget I guess. I wait to see what happened with the summa because I'm directly interested on that since I operate one and considering an S1 for when I upgrade.
First thing is first, thanks to god 🙏 you are doing well 🙏. This type of things happen all the time when you upgrade your equipment or change your equipment. So that leaves us to the big question, you are not working almost over TWO years how are you managing to keep up on your financial?😳 With that been point out, i hope that they work on the problem and fix it sooner so you have your own custom made automatic silk screen printing machine. One more thing how is the DTG printer you haven't posted a video about it. Please post an update on it🙏🙏🙏
Sucks that press didn't work out. Funny how often the shiny products don't perform as well as the plain old workhorse models. That is weird with that registration issue though.
Why would it have worked so long and then failed? Either time destroyed a part that was working before or something was altered or damaged in the move. I don’t see another possibility.
@@leestuart38 well there’s another possibility I guess! Thought you used that one in the basement. I have the 350 and like everything about it but the wide arms. Very limited on sleeve prints due to the width.
See... he is taking offers. He might print shirts but a video maker and making deals in the industry seems to be a priority. What is the purpose of a custom press to take a different size screen... its to make a video about it. If not he could have just got a press that takes the 23x31 size
@@leestuart38 exactly... in the video you stated that this base was designed for using the "back clamp with the 20x24 screen on their." To my understanding, inserted of getting a setup designed for 23x31, you modified the press to fit the bigger screen.
@@leestuart38 You started off noting "equipment malfunction" and a few seconds later name drop 'Riley Hopkins' giving the audience a negative impression of the product. However... its been heavily modified in the area that gave you the struggle so I feel it likely to have more to do with the mods than the manufacturer. Although I don't think that was your intention, as a viewer, that is a perspective that was given that resulted me thinking an M&R comment might be here. All blue right now, but I have used ROQ too. Both manufacturers go through engineering to design the setup to be used a specific way, adding bigger screens changes things for them and I don't think they would expect it to work. If a sales staff is consulting on "bolting shit on" Hopefully an engineer is involved, but at the same time I hope not because that reminds me of all the people that come in asking for one shirt. -Smart Guy

They change ink manufacturers too often too.

Lots and lots of re-labeling I believe on chemicals and inks.
Oh man. I know you're bummed for sure but I'm glad to see that the guys are looking into the solution for that bad ass machine
We'll get it sorted out one way or another 👍🏻
