Thanks for this great video. Nice explanation and very usefull ! Could you please make a video about how to change a faulty stack master within a stack of 3 or 4 members ?
Thanks for a great video, what happens if you unplug the stack cables while the stack is powered? a better question is, is it possible to add the new member without rebooting the stack, just move one cable from each switch to complete the loop?
Hi , How can we remotely identify the switch is installed in this order -stack 1top, 2middle , 3 down order? If we ask the on-site to remove switch 1 how sure we are the switch 1 is in top position ?
it is hard to tell how it is installed based on console output. Think about you have racks side by side and you need to install 8 switches in the stack - some can be installed on the second rack. Always you need to physically number the switch - slot1, slot2, slot3 .....
Great video. Explained everything very well.
Glad it was helpful!

Yes. A stack can opetate with one stacking cable. Also you can add new switch stack without rebooting the whole stack.

can i write the command #int g2/0/1 for example to access an interface on switch 2 ,or just by using #session 2 command ?
Int g2/0/1 works great 👍
