Galing mo po. I missed working on a Technical works like these, in my previous job i'm doing everything. From Systems admin, some Network firewalls, HSM and managing legacy Servers and systems and racking new appliances like these! Missed those days!
I’m a network technician Just seeing this video and i think you did a good job explaining the steps If I can also add cleaning those fiber patch cables and the LIU connectors with a one click fiber cleaner.
Oh that's a nice job! Thank you so much! I don't do networking stuff that often so it's also nice to document it. Thanks so much for the advice! Will try it
well, thank you for this sweet and nice video, by the way where are your teacher and your classmates you guys helped me big time to understand subnetting and VLSM. thank you so much, am really glad to come across your channel, as this it my first year in IT networking am sure will learn from you a lot please keep posting your videos. wish you the best

wow amazing while watching this video I felt comfort to understand thank for making this video I wish to communicate with you to get more idea about network cause now I do ccna course
Whenever I had to mount a larger device or something a little unwieldy we used to make a ty-wrap sling to bear some weight. One hand on the device, the other to tighten the sling and lift it to the desired rack position. Done that with Cisco switches and routers, Sun servers and other devices.
@@EastCharmer Make sure they are Thomas & Betts Ty-Wraps, they are made out of stronger nylon and have metal locking tabs for increased strength, cheapo zip ties will not do the trick.
To easily rack the switch in an empty rack like this. Use a shelf mounted upside down in the slot below it. Then you can just slide switch in. Much easier than a 2nd person holding it.
I recently followed your channel from India, Really your way of teaching is very excellent. I had doubts about the switch, Physical switch have 28 ports and tell me about vlan concept because I don't understand the concept on vlan. Total 28 port
Hello, I recently watched your previous video on configuring a switch, and I just finished this one as well. The content was exceptionally well delivered, and I truly appreciate the effort you put into creating such informative content. I was wondering if you could share some insights on what things one should focus on or study to pursue a career as a network engineer or in enterprise networking. Your expertise would be immensely valuable. Hoping for your response.
Hello there!! Thank you so much for your amazing feedback. Are you currently studying computer related courses? The things you need to focus on with networking are the OSI model, network devices and configuring them, topologies, and different IP address type. If you're not studying now, you might wanna check out Network+ cert. It provides you with the fundamental knowledge to learn
@@EastCharmer Hello, Thank you for your swift response! I'm currently in my final year pursuing a Bachelor's degree in IT. I have a grasp of the basics, including OSI, TCP/IP, Packet Tracer, and more. However, I am a bit confused on how do I proceed in study further and secure a job in the networking field. Your guidance would mean a lot to me. If possible, could you share your social media ID? It would be tremendously helpful for further guidance. Thank You..
Yes you're right! I'm short so I can't reach it and the switch is also a little heavy for me to lift with just one hand. I'd rather have someone assist me than messing up the device and everything next to it
Thank you so much! Hopefully moving from the old switch to the new one will be smooth 😬 we're also using cisco for fw and router but we don't get to configure those 🥺 we're only limited to layer 2 at work

@@EastCharmer That's nice! If it I may ask, what certifications do you have and what are your tips for guys like me who would like to be certified as well?

CCNA has changed drastically since I got it in 1999. On the flip side the hardware you need for a lab has gotten dirt cheap.
